Amazing getaway in the woods neighborhood
About this house rental
Our home is located in the quiet neighborhood of Woodland. It is newly remodeled with granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom and beautiful hardwood floors throughout the main floor. The side deck has a grill to use. Washer and dryer are available if needed. Canal Park or Miller Hill Mall are just a 15 minute drive away and we are within walking distance to grocery store, restaurants, golfing, or hiking trails.

We had a fabulous time for our family getaway. The property was very clean and well appointed. The communication with the host was outstanding. It really couldn’t have been better. Would definitely stay again.

The property was just as listed. Everything was new, clean and neat and tidy. I contacted the property manager about a late arrival and she turned the outside lights on - much appreciated.
The only surprise was that one of the bathrooms was in the basement.

This is a great place to experience living like a local rather than being in the tourist hub bub. Access to beautiful Hartley Park is down the street.. Great place to hike and mountain bike.

The house had a old musty odor when we first arrived. Not in a convenient location to get to canal park. No A/C. The neighborhood was quite and peaceful

We stayed here for 3 nights the weekend of Grandmas Marathon. Very satisfied with our stay. I loved that you could tell this is strictly a rental. Perfectly well supplied kitchen and lots of extra blankets. Our bed was so comfortable! Every room had a separate floor fan which you don’t often find in rentals. Their updates are great, nice to have washer and drier. Super quiet neighborhood that was very accessible to the north shore and Canal Park. Loved it.

In town for Grandmas Marathon
We stayed here for 3 nights the weekend of Grandmas Marathon. Very satisfied with our stay. I loved that you could tell this is strictly a rental. Perfectly well supplied kitchen and lots of extra blankets. Our bed was so comfortable! Every room had a separate floor fan which you don’t often find in rentals. Their updates are great, nice to have washer and drier. Super quiet neighborhood that was very accessible to the north shore and Canal Park. Loved it.

What a wonderful weekend in Duluth! To be perfectly honest, there was a problem as soon as we got to the property (NOT the fault of the owners) but it was handled so well that it gave us a great deal of confidence that Gloria could handle whatever problem might crop up! Mistakes happen and can’t always be planned for, but how those are handled is the real test. And these guys passed with flying colors! Would love to stay here again!

What a wonderful weekend in Duluth! To be perfectly honest, there was a problem as soon as we got to the property (NOT the fault of the owners) but it was handled so well that it gave us a great deal of confidence that Gloria could handle whatever problem might crop up! Mistakes happen and can’t always be planned for, but how those are handled is the real test. And these guys passed with flying colors! Would love to stay here again!

We had a lovely stay in this updated home in a quiet Duluth neighborhood. Comfortable rooms, nice amenities, and a quiet area but still close to everything you could need and quick access to main roads.
The one caution I would give to future travelers is that this home does not have air conditioning. No central air, no window units. I'm not sure if this is common in the area, but if you are staying in the late spring/summer, this might be something to pay attention to. We happened to be staying on the tail end of an unusually warm streak, but were comfortable with the fans that are provided.
Overall this was a wonderful stay and would absolutely consider staying here in the future.

This reservation was booked nearly a year ago and was canceled at the last minute because it had been "doubled booked" funds were refunded and we had no options for another place to stay in a very busy city. Lost out on a great opportunity we cannot get back again. Never Again!!
