Great place for a short stay

The location is perfect near the Nativity Church, the local street market and good places to eat. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we might need for a short stay. The communication with the owners was easy and clear.

Unforgettable experience!

Not just a stay in a guesthouse, but an unforgettable experience of being hosted by a Palestinian family: from the very first moment, Khader, his father and their family welcomed me and my father with kindness and helpfulness, making our trip to Palestine unique. The guesthouse is in an exceptional location, very close to Manger Square, the Church of Nativity and the suq, in the heart of Bethlehem's historic centre. The apartment is lovely, very neat and clean, with everything you need, including air conditioning, wifi and a fully equipped kitchen. We won't forget the welcome of Khader and his father, the hospitality in their home with their family, as well as the attention they paid to our every need, even helping us to organise excursions and transfers during our stay in Palestine. Highly recommended!

Khader is wonderful, the location is perfect, and the room a great place to sleep after exploring

Khader was a wonderful host and it was a pleasure meeting him and his father. The location is absolutely perfect in Bethlehem! The bed was really comfy too! I also enjoyed that I was able to walk to a lot of the significant sites and bus pick-ups which made for a much more immersive experience than being in a big hotel or having to take a lot of taxis. I highly recommend if you are fit and able to explore on foot.

The only thing that was a little strange was the kitchen and bathroom were disconnected from the sleeping room and all were considered one apartment. It wasn't an issue because I was the only one there but it did feel a little disconnected and I did not see that when booking. I travel alone so prefer a lot of privacy and it was a bit different not having a contained apartment.

Definitely coming back!

Khader is one of the bests host we have ever met hands down. The room is located on a small street just beside Manger street, so it makes it quiet during the day besides the proximity to the actual city centre (plus the Church of Nativity!). The place lacks no amenities, having an ac - much needed in the summer - and also a washing machine, comfortable bed, spacious kitchen equipped with everything. Very clean with a superb wifi connection (we actually used a lot for work!). On the day of our arrival we arrived earlier and Khader made getting inside the place easy in no time! He was also the most helpful person, as he was quick to answer everything and willing to help as much as he could. He even helped us renting a car which is quite tricky otherwise - or over the web when not in Palestine. Definitely coming back! Definitely recommended for everyone! Kudos to Khader for his kindness and energy!

Perfect location with an amazing host

Aside from the amazing location. What we really like is our host Khader's hospitality. He assisted us during the entire duration of our stay and made us feel safe and well taken cared of. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Bethlehem this place is definitely it.

What you see from the pictures is what you get. So our expectations are met and we loved everything.

We planned to stay there for one night but extended it to three nights bacause it was convenient. The host is absolutely amazing, we had a problem with finding his place because the road was temporarily closed and he came for us with his car and showed us a way, he told us all about Betlehem. He answered every single question that we had and helped us in any way he could The room was clean, private bathroom in the small room is separated from the room but it’s locked and it’s only for you. We stayed in both of the rooms, two nights in the small one and one night in the big one. The location is amazing and you even get a balcony with a beautiful view with the big room. Totally recommend!

To be honest the only downside was the water pressure in the small room’s bathroom.

everything was superb! (wonderful) khader was brilliant, The price compared too other property’s in bethlehem was Amazing, strongly recommended too stay at Dar Jacaman, kitchen facilities, located very next too the church of nativity. All amenities very close by, khader And He’s wife even dropped us At the local bus stop back to Jerusalem At 7Am in the morning, we stayed for two nights. we will definitely be returning, wonderful location, people And hospitality, Thankyou khader,

Had an amazing stay.

I loved that there was a little kitchen we could make our own tea in the evening and sit on the balcony. I enjoyed that the hotel was right next to the mosque of Omar we loves hear the call of prayer and across from the church of nativity where we could hear the church bells ring. The host was amazing, so hard working and fulfilled any of our needs and questions. Mr Anwar that lives downstairs is very friendly and even gave us some Palestinian bakery before we left.

Cozy palestinian place in the heart of Bethlehem

I totally recommend this hotel in Bethlehem. The location is just perfect, in the heart of the city. The owner and his family are so nice. The room is small, but has everything you need - and even more! From basic stuff for kitchen, like tea, coffee, sugar, plates, mugs, a fridge and even a small stoven. I was suprised to see they have also lots of ammenities, hairdrier and iron. Bed is comfortable. There is heating in the room. WiFi works perfectly. Amazing place!

We had a problem with hot water, but the owner was so attentive and did his best to fix it the fastest he could. Definitely didn't interfere in our very good experience at Dar Jacaman.

Helpful, relaxed and caring host. Property located in the center of Bethlehem, clean room and bathroom. WiFi, hot water and heating working perfectly. Coffee and tea.

A larger window would help with humidity after a couple of showers.

Mesmerizing

The place was amazing. Khader and his family were the best hosts you can ask for. The room was charming, just in the heart of the city. Bethlehem has been our highlight so far, and Dar Jacaman was an important part of it. Khder recommended us great places to eat, drink and watch the World Cup. He is really passionate about his city and you can tell by his projects and his work. Just go to Bethlehem and stay in Dar Jacaman, you'll never forget.
