About this house rental
Nestled in Door County, this attractive house for R 7,266 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Contact Becky! Ready to take your reservation at Boyer Bay House! During Peak-Season our property books from Saturday to Saturday, during our off-peak season, we have a 3-day minimum. We sleep 8 guests (no exceptions). Sit inside our screened porch and watch the sunsets or take our aluminum stairs down to a rock-shelf shoreline (see pics). Take our 2 Kayaks out for a paddle (seasonal) - (you must carry them up/down the stairs to/from the water and please do not leave them unsupervised, you don't want them floating away!). View the Niagara Escarpment - this was formed when glaciers gouged out soft shale and left harder dolomite exposed. These glaciers gave shape to the Great Lakes. You can see some of the escarpment in the pictures on the site. We may or may not have a dock; it depends if it's able to be installed (weather and worker shortage are major factors). You can still access the rock-shelf shoreline using the aluminum stairs. We also have walking trails! Take in all the nature you need on your own private walking trails; located directly across the street from Boyer Bay House - we have13-acres which are all yours. Boyer Bay House has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in total. You will find Rough Sawn Cedar throughout the house. On the main level, we have a full bathroom and 2 bedrooms: both with queen beds. The front room area has 2 couches, 2 chairs, Roku TV, and the dining area (refer to pictures); from the front room, you access our screened porch through french doors to sit outside and view the beautiful sunsets every evening. Upstairs we have a nice sitting area with a couch and another Roku TV (movies and DVD player). Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms: 1 bedroom with a queen bed and 1 bedroom which has 2 twins, a full bathroom is upstairs as well. You get a great breeze off the Bay - open your windows at night and listen to the waves. Outside we have a fire pit and chairs for your use. At the top of our aluminum stairs there is a small outside patio area with 2 new benches, sit there with your glass of wine and soak it in if you don't want to take the stairs. We have a CHARCOAL grill for outside use. Located in the perfect area of Egg Harbor, Boyer Bay House is on the point of Horseshoe Bay with expansive Bay views and amazing sunsets. We are approximately 0.3 miles from Murphy Park which is a 15-acre lakefront park that includes a sand beach, boat launch, and walking pier. The town of Egg Harbor is approximately 4 miles away and is the favorite Door County town for many travelers with the municipal beach and harbor park. We do supply basic white cotton bath towels; it's not an unlimited supply like hotels - you will most likely do a laundry load of towels if you're staying a week. We are sorry to report, we have stopped allowing you to bring your family dog to this property. We had trouble with guests not adhering to our dog rules (letting them sleep on the beds, furniture and barking all day long on the porch), we’ve made the difficult decision to not allow a dog anymore in 2025 (and going forward). Being a good neighbor and a good guest is very important to us. Blue Chair Capital offers a 5% discount off the rental amount to military members and veterans; please present your proper ID. Cancellations – Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel after that point, they will not get a refund. However; if they cancel in less than 60 days, we will make every good faith effort to re-rent the House for the same period and rental amount, and if successful, the entire rental amount will be returned minus a $100 service charge.

My party of 3 couples and 1 dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Becky’s place. Becky provided a detailed email prior to check in with arrive/depart instructions along with info on activities in the area. The place was clean. We really enjoyed the screened in porch in the evenings to reminisce about our day. Sunsets were beautiful! I appreciated the pet friendly property. The tether on the tree was very helpful. My dog enjoyed lounging on the grass. Location is perfect to explore Door County. I highly recommend Becky’s place!

We have stayed in many properties in Door County throughout the years. This was our best stay yet! The property easily accommodated multiple generations of our family, it retained classic feel & charm of Door County while still incorporating modern conveniences, and was in a great location! The house was extremely clean, exactly as described in terms of amenities, and the owner was very responsive before & during our stay! The neighborhood was quiet without being desolate and the screen porch was a highlight! It allowed us to enjoy the bay views & sounds no matter the weather or time of day! We hated to leave!

The house is in a terrific location just 5-10 minutes south of Egg Harbor. If you want a vacation with your family where you can be overlooking Green Bay, have picturesque camp fires at night, and open up lovely French doors that reveal a relaxing screened-in porch, this could be your place!

This is a wonderful place for a family vacation on Green Bay. Exactly as it appears in the listing. Very private, well stocked kitchen, clean. Loved the screened porch and fire pit. The manager was super helpful over email when we couldn’t find the float pad (we were looking for something that resembled an air mattress—duh!). Lots to do within a short drive to hiking, restaurants, drive-in movie theater. Instructions were very clear too and gave excellent recommendations for local activities. Just what we needed this summer!

Boyer Bay House is
wonderfully located and private. The house is well-equipped and the beds are comfortable. We had a couple of minor issues with bathroom exhaust fans but not a big deal. Overall this is one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed in, and Becky is a very accessible host. We loved our stay!

The week had the feel of Oct in St Louis! Property was clean and well kept with a wonderful view of the lake. Sandy beach was a half mile away. Egg Harbor was charming with some great restaurants. Already planning next year's trip.

The best thing about the stay was Becky, the property manager. Super responsive and so nice to deal with. She had a ton of suggestions of things to do which really helped make it a great vacation.

Great stay!
We were fortunate to be able to carve out several days at the Boyer Bay House with our family, the week before Memorial Day. Eight of us adults, spanning 3 generations, had a marvelous time. The house is beautifully situated, with space for enjoying the outdoors---and beyond comfortable, with all the conveniences and comforts of home, and plenty of places to relax and enjoy the amenities. Becky was wonderful to work with, and we are already looking forward to a return next year.

We had a wonderful time at Boyer House. Everything about it was perfect for us. The location, the accommodations, the amenities - all were excellent. Such a beautiful piece of property on the lake! Great Family Thanksgiving!
This is such a pretty place to stay. The view is gorgeous and it is convenient for exploring Door County. We were there for Thanksgiving so obviously no swimming, but we had a great time visiting all the small towns and state parks. It snowed on our last day there. Beautiful! Becky is a wonderful host. She is so easy to work with and went out of her way to answer questions and make accommodations for our family. Thank you so much!

We had the most amazing time! The location was outstanding! Being on the water with the rocks was so much fun and an “adventure” for the kids every time we went down by the water!
The house was just perfect! Tons of games and movies for the family to enjoy! It was clean and had everything we could have possibly needed!
Being able to bring our dog made our vacation that much more special! We were a short 5 minute walk away from a park and the many other parks and trails kept him tuckered out! The dog parks in Sturgeon and Bay and Baileys Harbor were just a short drive away to get his “zoomies” out. Everywhere else, dogs must be on a leash.
The convenient location made it easy to explore all corners of Door County! Even though it was the first week of November and many places were closed for the season, there were plenty of stores and restaurants open throughout the week for us to visit. We were never bored! There is always so much to do and see!
We were having such a great time we wanted to extend our stay one more night and Becky so kindly arranged it very quickly for us!

Such a beautiful area with an amazing view! I could not get enough of the sunsets and loved being able to walk right down to the water. The location was great as it was private, but close enough to some great local places.

We had a great time here, the sunset views were astounding and the screened in porch was fantastic for morning coffee and kept us protected but still outside when it rained.
With two small families, the two living areas were very convenient. The kiddos were able to spread out and play.
Loved the remote feeling of the home even with neighbors close by.
We definitely got the relaxing weekend we were seeking here!

We stayed at The Boyer House in September 2021 and had an absolute blast! The view from the house is absolutely stunning and the place itself is very clean and well maintained with plenty of space. The owners are also extremely organized and great to work with. The location is prefect and an easy drive to anywhere in door county. We will definitely be back!

Couldn't have had a better experience for a little gals weekend. The house was lovely and worked perfectly for the 4 of us. The screened in porch is awesome, the view from the back yard is beautiful and the sunsets were spectacular. Great location - very easy to find and its a very short drive to many shops, wineries, and restaurants. Becky is a wonderful host and communication was great. She even checked in on us during the trip via email to see if we needed anything:) We really enjoyed our stay and would love to go back again!

This house was perfect for our couples get-away. The views are breathtaking especially the sunset. The location for our group was great as we liked being tucked way from the busy towns but was any easy drive when we wanted to explore. The house fit our needs with the fact that they had 4 bedrooms that slept 8 adults, no bunk beds. When we arrived the house was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and rooms had enough space for two. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we might need to prepare our meals. The owners made everything clear with the check-in/out process and went smoothly. We especially liked just sitting either on the porch gazing at the view of Green Bay or at night by the fire. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
