Large house with 4 bedrooms. No steps to access the Living room, Kitchen, Dining, Deck, Master bedroom with bathroom, and 1/2 bath, all on the main floor. Two Bedrooms with shared bathroom on second floor with loft daybed/trundle. Large bedroom and bathroom separate from the main house for extra privacy for the in-laws, newlyweds, or light sleepers. Large deck off the main floor. Considering a Flexcation? This house has the perfect floor plan for this with the 4th bedroom completely separate from the main house. Locate your office in this bedroom that includes chairs and a table and bathroom. Everyone thought the home was cozy and inviting. The layout was perfect for our group, and the location was great - close to everything we were interested in!

Perfect for families or small groups. Lots of care went into ensuring the kitchen and other rooms are well-stocked. The location halfway up Massanutten makes it convenient for getting to the ski-related areas and out to the nearby town.

This was a wonderful place to stay while visiting our daughter at JMU over family weekend. Our family of 6 had all the room we needed, and the place was immaculate. The house is just beautiful and so well thought out. Love all the windows and being nestled in the trees. I don't think I've ever stayed in such a well stocked place, and the owners supply just about everything needed (other than food). Everyone said their bed was very comfortable and slept well. It was a beautiful and easy drive to JMU. My family all want to stay here again and now want to plan more trips to the Harrisonburg area. Highly recommend!!

Great place to stay for a large group! Although the internet was out during our stay due to construction, Lisa was proactive with communication and with alternatives. Thanks for sharing your home!

This was a memorable trip for our 11-year-old daughters. We all thought the house was beautiful, the nicest one on the block! The bedroom setup was perfect, and the rooms were a good size, with lots of options for sleeping arrangements. We didn't use the private bedroom over the garage. Location was great, 5 mins to all the activities - skiing, snow tubing, ice skating, and water park. The kitchen was well equipped. Lisa was quick to respond to my questions. It was a great visit!

If you want a cozy peaceful getaway, this is the house for you. They have everything you could possibly need except food. If you have food this a great pspot to be snowed in. I didn't want to leave.

We were able to put together a last min golf trip after hurricane Ian ruined our original plans. This house was perfect for us and we had a great time.

The house is in a great location. Had a small back yard. Very well stocked for cooking dishes and pans. Nice gas grill , ping pong table and corn hole games. Nice deck for siping coffee, eating and enjoying the birds chirping. In very good condition and clean.

The main floor bedroom / bath was wonderful for grandparents. Kitchen was stocked with every gadget needed for cooking there. Beautiful place to stay for a special occasion:)

Warm and Welcoming
Upon arrival, it was every easy to feel the warmth of this home from the moment we opened the door. The physical warmth was compounded by the warmth of the hospitality offered by the host, Lisa. We had to reschedule due to a winter storm and so we had more communication than usual by arrival time, all warm, informational and accommodating. The home offered spaciousness yet quiet nooks to get away. The kitchen was fabulous for equipment and space. At one point there were 5 adults around the island preparing dinner and there was still plenty of space to spare. For sleep, there are lots of options and the beds are very comfortable. This area of Virginia is just lovely with much to do in and outside of the resort. We are definitely looking forward to a return visit. Thank you, Lisa!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was very, very clean with plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked and we were pleasantly surprised that there were cold drinks and snacks upon arrival. If in the area we would stay here again.

It is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The wildlife is abundant and surprisingly unafraid. We found everything that we needed. The most wonderful part was spending time with my family and the laughter and life that filled the house.

There were five of us! We had a week of quality time with our grandchildren in a tranquil environment. The host paid attention to every detail which made our stay stressless and comfortable. The fully staffed kitchen was a major plus. This was an overall great experience.

Very well stocked kitchen. Deck very peaceful and relaxing. Quiet neighborhood. Lots of room and lots of movies and games for the times you aren’t out exploring. Lots of activities on sight for a small fee. Very satisfied with the property and will be back for another get away!

The location is excellent for taking advantage of the restaurants and activities in Massanutten. Plus, it is close to Shenandoah and the caverns in the area. The owners were very accomodating, and we really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect getaway home
Nothing but positive experience. The owners were very responsive and helpful prior to and during out stay. The home is immaculate and has everything you need.... Kitchen had every appliance you could want even a griddle for pancakes. Open setup that's perfect for a large family. Bonus is the completely separate suite over the garage if there's a baby or someone who needs quiet.

Beautiful, comfortable house
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The house was spotless and the layout was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen is very nice and had everything we needed to cook for a New Year's getaway. The kids loved their room, which had a few toys/games (bonus!), and played in the backyard for hours. We spent the weekend enjoying this very comfortable house and hiking in nearby Shenandoah National Park. We would gladly stay here again.
