Spend your time relaxing and making the best beach memories in this gorgeous condo just steps from the water. This home has a fully equipped kitchen that's perfect for preparing meals and snacks, as well as a private patio where you can unwind after a busy day at the beach. Located on the first floor, this condo is easily accessed - the shared pool area is also a short walk away for some relaxation and sunbathing. There's no need to worry about sandy clothes, as there is a private washer and dryer to keep everything clean. Plus, this condo boasts two flatscreen TVs, so keeping up with your favorite shows will be a breeze. WHAT’S NEARBY This condo is part of the Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort, which has such fantastic amenities as a pool, a hot tub, beach access, and four designer golf courses. Take a walk down to the nearby beach with its sugar soft sands and warm waters, or make a reservation to hike the 200 acres of the unique Coffeen Nature Preserve a little over a mile east. Be sure to visit the Village of Baytowne Wharf, only two miles north, offering fine dining, shopping, and regular special events and festivals right on the shores of Choctawhatchee Bay. THINGS TO KNOW A tram pass is included in your reservation. The tram runs daily from 10 am to 10 pm and makes several stops around the resort. This rental is located on floor 1. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The place was easy access in a safe and lovely location. Easy walk to the beach. Easy walk to Beach House Restaurant and bar. Very clean. Perfect for two people.

I enjoyed the location and love the private beach. However, the place needs updating. Carpet turned my brand new white socks brown and I found cockroaches in the dishwasher. The ice machine did my function properly. However the parking garage did have a great ice machine in there. I loved the pool and spa area and the music was a nice touch

We had the best time on this trip! My husband celebrated our tenth anniversary. This condo was super cute and clean! We had no issues at all! Such a great place to stay! I recommend staying here! We hope to go back soon with the kiddos!

I will start with the best and work down. The location is amazing, proximity to the beach shopping, and restaurants, especially with the complementary shuttle was great. The unit overall was in nice shape with some minor issues. It was clean for the most part other than the carpet. The carpet was dirty enough that we didn’t want to go without shoes.The furniture is pretty worn out and wasn’t very comfortable, hide a bed was really bad, luckily we didn’t have to use this regularly. Bed was okay, really firm, but not bad. There was absolutely no storage for food in cupboard’s, there was a pantry but was clocked up, I guess with ownership items. Would have been nice to have this space! Screen door was ripped in several spots so we could not use the back door for fresh air without letting the bugs in. This was reported to property management and answered but no one came in two weeks we were there to repair. Our biggest issue with the unit is the parking. I drive a full size truck and the parking garage is really tight. I’ve parked in these a lot and this was tighter than most. Part of the issue was they had the top section closed for resurfacing for the first week we were there so made it even smaller. We returned from dinner one night to find the parking structure completely full, No parking left due to some pre planned event/convention. Somebody took down the rope that closed off the upper sections of the parking structure, so we were able to park up there. The next day we left to have breakfast and pickup groceries, when we returned they had completely closed the parking structure and said we would have to park down below in Beach parking. They explained that they had to get the garage resurfaced and this would be closed for several days? This was obviously a pre-planned event why was I not notified of this inconvenience at the time of booking? When I contacted property management on this they repeatedly sent me my Parking policy as if they didn’t speak English, weird. The policy says nothing about closure or even disclosures of there might be parking interruptions. Not sure what I was supposed to do with that? Property management needs overhaul and review customer service.

The room is nice and it’s location within the resort is great. However, the carpet is the room needs to be replaced. There is an odd smell in the bedroom. These two things aren’t deal breakers but are issues that the owners need to be aware of.

The room was literally a 5 min walk to the beach. The whole family enjoyed our stay. Would def. recommend to anyone looking for a casual family place to stay.

The property is very well maintained. Great location away, but convenient to everything Destin offers.
The condo is neat and clean. Washer and dryer is plus. Kitchen is fully stocked with all you need to prep, cook and eat. Grill area is nice and easy to share.
Pool area is very nice, maintained and easy to spread out from the crowd. Pool Having bathrooms close by is a plus. Tiki Hut for snacks and drinks!
Access to the beach is a breeze to walk.
The only negative we have. The beach area gets over crowded. Way to much going on in a small area. This is caused in my opinion by the Sandestin rental/beach entertainment and the Hilton. Would be nice to allow those with their own beach furniture to spread out from the Sandestin rental furniture. Hilton seems to be keeping the best interest of their guests at heart. Not sure how the zoning or property lines work on the beach. This could be out of the control of the property. But needs to be brought up to boards to be checked into. A better flow of the beach area and room. Again a lot packed into a small area.
I would recommend and will definitely stay at this location again.

We stayed at Luau in Sandestin over the July 4th holiday. This unit is on the first floor and I would say probably one of the best, as far as location, within the Luau. We could skip the crowed elevator situation and walk directly to the parking lot from the patio. This was great for loading and unloading.
The unit is located next to the elevators, and it did occasionally get loud outside of our door. There are only two elevators for the whole building, and they did not always run well.
We were about a 5 minute walk from the beach. The beach was REALLY crowded because it is shared with all of the other Sandestin visitors that do not have their "Private Beach" area. We were lucky to have family staying at one of the other beachfront condos and hung out with them in their beach area, but still had to get out very early to be near the water.
The unit was plenty big for our family of 3, and we could have easily had another person and still be comfortable. There were a few maintenance issues, and they were addressed quickly.
All in all, we were pleased with our stat in Luau 6101 and would stay there again.

Family Vacation
The property is very well maintained. Great location away, but convenient to everything Destin offers.

Weekend Getaway
Really enjoyed our time in the area and loved the location of this property. Close to several of our favorite restaurants off of 30a. The condo was clean, well equipped with the necessary kitchen utensils and very quiet and relaxing. Look forward to staying here again in the future. Oh yeah, the property manager/owner called and checked to make sure we didn’t have any problem checking in and made sure to let us know they were available if needed for anything throughout our stay.

It had everything we needed to cook our own meals (minus a potholder) and to wash our beach towels and clothes so we didn't have to bring home a pile of laundry. I enjoyed that it was on the ground floor because we didn't have to constantly wait for the elevator. I was disappointed that the pool was closed for two days of our stay and that the gas grills outside didn't work, so we ended up having to cook steaks in a pan inside, but that's not a reflection of on the room, but the property itself. I'd definitely stay here again, but suggest bringing decent toilet paper with you.

Relaxing trip
The property was very nice, only two concerns, the carpet in the condo at the front door was dirty, the carpet need to cleaned. Also, the pics make it appear the condo is located directly on the beach, when it’s a 5 mins walk, which isn’t bad. Overall we would stay at the location again. Equipped with all the amenities, and the location is very nice.

Great place!
This was a wonderful place to stay. Very easy and quick access to the beach, as well as short driving distance to great food places. Beach was never crowded. Found a great spot every day. Also, great to mention, there is access to public restrooms right by the beach. So you don’t have to walk too far to find restroom. Beautiful property, very well maintained. Be sure to check out the top floor of building. Beautiful views.
