incredibly misleading listing. it wasn’t until after I had been charged that I was informed it was a studio apartment. On top of that, enough linens were not provided upfront despite booking the apartment for four people. The property ticketed us for parking where the host directed us to park. The shower does not drain properly. The “apartment” has clearly not been maintenanced or renovated in some time. Overall, not worth what I paid. I will be seeking some, if not all, of my money back.

At 6'3" and 250 pounds, I am not accustomed to teensy-weensy accommodations. The listed max capacity for this apartment is “4 guests max (4 adults, 3 children)”. The four adults that could stay in this studio must be Liliputian. I have never stayed in a place so small. In hindsight, I should have done more research and not gone by the photos. I had no idea what a Murphy Bed is and had never seen one before getting to this location. Lesson learned. If you like small places, this is perfect for you.

After arriving late in the evening, my wife and I wanted to wash our bodies. The towels that were hanging in the bathroom did not appear to be clean. In fact, one of these white towels had some sort of dark streak on it. I called the guest contact and told her about the towels not appearing to be clean. Her response to us was, just because the towel has a smudge on it, doesn’t mean it’s not clean. Repulsed, I told her that my wife and I don’t live that way. I told her that we would not be using any of the towels in the studio. We put those towels under the sink and went in search of towels in Winter Park. We stopped at a convenience store and shared our story. The employee there told us that, unfortunately, they did not sell towels. Because the guest contact's definition of cleanliness is vastly different from ours, my wife and I bought $35 worth of cleaning supplies to clean the studio. On the way back to the studio, the guest contact sent to me a text saying that she could provide us another set of towels in the morning. I did not respond. I then stopped at a local hotel, told my story to the front desk person and asked if they would sell me two washcloths and two body towels. The hotel manager who overheard my story apologized for my predicament and gave me two washcloths, two hand towels and two body towels. I told the manager that I would bring them back when we checked out of the studio in two days. My wife and I returned to the studio and spent the next hour scouring the place. Our next visit to Winter Park will include a stay at this hotel, not at this studio.

We were surprised to find that all the facilities at the development were closed, this was not disclosed in any of the advertising. Also the unit had a Murphy bed, not disclosed. Otherwise the building was clean and an excellent location.

Great location and nice touches.

Space was a little small and some items were a little dated.
