About this house rental
Kingfisher House is perfect for those looking to get away and enjoy a peaceful and private beachfront holiday. Situated on the beach side of Kingfisher Parade, the beach is almost at your door with only a short stroll through the trees taking you to what feels like your own private section of sand! This home is ideal for couples or families, with a park nearby for the kids. There is a designated beach access at the park. Toogoom is a sleepy fishing village within easy access of Hervey Bay (only 10 klms). Come up stay during the months of July to October and join the many boat tours from Hervey Bay to watch the Humpback Whales migrating. Bring your own boat, there is plenty of room and the boat ramp is just down the end of the street. Fishing and crabbing are great pastimes in the calm waters of the bay as we are protected by Fraser Island. Don't forget to bring your furbabies, The house has a fully fenced huge yard for them to play in and Toogoom beach is a great place for your family dog to have a play. Best time is mid tide, there are great gutters for them to play in and sometimes you may be the only ones of the beach with kilometres of beach to play on. Toogoom has kilometres of beautiful white sandy beachfront, protected by Fraser Island we have calm gently rolling waves that make it perfect for swimming, boating, fishing, walking or simply relaxing in the sun. We have 2 great Restaurants, Goodies and Salty Squid and the food from both is fantastic. Don't forget the local General store also do takeaway Fish and Chips and Hamburgers. I can vouch for how HUGE their hamburgers are :) Sleeping arrangements: LINEN IS PROVIDED. Main bedroom offers a queen bed, walk in robe, airconditioning, TV and private ensuite Second bedroom with a queen bed Third and Fourth bedrooms have double beds. Exactly the type of place we love staying at. The accommodation has everything including a fence that our little dog spent 8 days trying to get through. You can't ask for more. Very quiet, clean and well appointed. On top of that there is a park at the back that you walk through to the beach. No more than 100 metres. We found our host very helpful in making our stay enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

I stayed at this property with my family to celebrate my mum's 60th Birthday and booked last minute as my other rental was canceled. I think we actually ended up with a better place as this had four good size rooms all with queen beds and the location was amazing! We felt as though we had a private beach! The house was very clean when we arrived and there was plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was perfect for our large family and the back deck would get the morning sun so made a perfect spot for breakfast! We have already tried to book this again but not surprisingly it's pretty booked out for the rest of the year. Thanks so much Julie and Mark!

This property is amazing with so much room, 4 great bedrooms, great indoor entertaining space but the best is the outdoor space which is great for humans and pets. the yard is huge and so close to the beach which is great for long walks with or without your dog and feels like you own it as there are always very few others on the beach.
Great place to get away from the hussle and bussle.

We loved our stay at Kingfisher House and will definitely be going back. The house is beautifully furnished with amazing views of the ocean, park and wildlife. This was a very easy 2 night getaway. It had everything we needed, even with 3 busy kids. Great location if you're after peace and quiet. Our family happily ate at the local restaurant only a few kms down the road and shopped at the little grocery store near by.

A beautiful home, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. Relaxed home with huge yard and gardens surrounding. Very dog friendly inside and out. Hosts were extremely helpful and contactable. You won’t want for anything here, kitchen has every appliance and utensil you can think of. Lots to do within the hours drive. We enjoyed Toogoom, Hervey Bay, Burrum Heads and Woodgate. We will definitely return and enjoy this property again.

Perfect position, super close to the beach. Our pups had the best time … as did we. Lovely spacious home just right for two families holidaying together…2 bedrooms either side of the main living area.

The house is exactly as advertised, well set up and one of the cleanest Stayz properties we have holidayed in. The house is spacious and whilst we holidayed with friends we felt we had our privacy as the house is set up with 2 distinct wings. The dogs loved the beach you can see the beach and water from the deck and we enjoyed having the kangaroos hop by at certain times of the day. One of the bedrooms is really really hot even with the fan so could maybe consider aircon. An info book would be helpful as we discovered the convenience store with amazing fish and chips at the end of the stay. We had a wonderful time and will most definitely visit again.

House was perfect. Dog friendly and excellent quality rental; it was lovely not having to compromise on the standard of accommodation when taking our dog with us on holiday. He loved it too. Decking is beautiful and shady.
House is spacious and clean, perfect proximity for beach and play park. Beautiful little touches; bottle of wine, notes about not to stress about sand on floor, (so nice to not worry about this)!!
5 adults, 2 children and 1 dog.
We will definitely return next year. Can't wait!!

The property was excellent, location to the beach was excellent especially with dogs. Everything was comfortable and clean.
Will definitely book again.
One thing to consider is maybe putting hand rails on the stairs especially for older people.

Holidays with 2 friends and our 2 mini bulldogs - beautiful beach home with every thing supplied that you could possibly need, and tastefully decorated. Owners very helpful and very easy to contact . Plenty of room for the dogs. You can see and hear the water, and while we were there this time, the water was like glass at high tide. Perfect for the dogs, walking and paddle boarding. Close , but not too close to shops.

The description and photos were exact, it was such agreat place to stay. Open the back gate and there is the beach. Dog friendly house too. Open plan with everything you need, games, coffee machine, fully decked laundry and BBQ. The place is fully fenced. Do your shopping before you go as there is no real shops close, Eli Waters was the closest but even that wasnt very far. Would definately stay again.

We had a very relaxing week at Kingfisher House. The house was very well appointed. Easy access to the beach.
Our only concern was no balcony rails on the decks or handrails on the steps which was a bit dangerous. Definitely wouldn’t be suitable for our small grandchildren for future visits.
Also, as a suggestion, enclosing under the house. Our dogs ran straight under. Could be dangerous for little children and animals .
This is not a criticism, just a safety suggestion for the future.
Would stay there again.
