About this bed and breakfast
Located in a quiet, mature treed desirable neighborhood near lake and beach. Cute, cozy, newly remodeled self-contained walk-in-walk-out basement apartment with private entrance in a lovely home in one of the most desirable neighborhoods of beautiful Loveland Colorado. Mature neighborhood with lots of trees. The apartment has two bedrooms, pull-out sofa bed, ,full bath. There is a TV with Netflix. In both the living area and larger bedroom, which also has a desk for a nice work area.Fully equipped kitchenette with full fridge. Lockbox for convenient self check-in and check-out. Convenient use of washer and dryer and second smaller bath. (Note that there is one regular flight of stairs into apartment) The upstairs is leased by a lovely young, friendly family.House has central air, heating, and humidity control. Dog friendly ( no cats allowed) with fully contained fenced backyard but please consult with owner first before booking your pet. (Dogs must be crated if left alone). There is a 6 ft privacy fence separating the back yard so your vacation rental has its own fenced yard area, private deck with dining area and gas bbq. Please note: Dog fee is $25 per trip. This is subject to increase depending on number of dogs and the situation at owner's discretion. Conveniently located very close to main road to Rocky Mountain National Park which is about 45 minutes away. Very close to public beach and lake, the famous Benson Sculpture Park. 15 minutes from Boyd Lake State park, Carter Lake, Horsetooth reservoir. Close to beautiful parks for kids play and recreation. Grocery store 2 minutes away, hospital 10 minutes. Historic downtown Loveland is only 10 minutes away providing easy access to the downtown's many art galleries, antique shops, and restaurants. Please note that the town of Loveland is not the same place as the Loveland ski resort. That is over 2 hrs away! Note that there is one standard stairway going down to the basement so please take that into account if that poses a physical challenge for you. Everyone is welcome and I look forward to hosting you. This house was perfect for our group of 7 knitters (8th person cancelled). We are all ‘over 40’ and our goal is to relax in comfy quarters for several days and rejuvenate while knitting and laughing. Since Covid, everyone really prefers their own room so finding a home with 8 bedrooms was just what we wanted, Stairs are difficult for some but we made it work. I can’t think of anything we needed that we could not find. The area has decent restaurants and I am sure shopping - but we never left to shop! We are planning next year to return. We had had a Log Cabin in Potosi WI we went to every year but the place was sold. We have searched a few years to find another perfect place and are happy we have found it.

This rental was absolutely perfect for our needs. The unit was clean and comfortable and had all amenities one might need. Best of all was the proximity to Lake Loveland where we would watch the spectacular sunset each evening. Would definitely stay here again if available.

The basement apartment was a great place to stay. The family upstairs have 2 little ones, so occasionally I heard them, but not a big deal. There was no way to control the temp, but there was a heater and a fan, depending on what you needed. Thanks for a good stay.

Katherine’s place was great!!! Super cozy, clean, and with lots of generous amenities like snacks, bottled water and good coffee! The upstairs neighbors were always kind amd made sure we had everything we needed! The neighborhood is calm and lovely! We would highly recommend staying here!! The value far exceeds the reasonable price amd we will prouve staying there again next time we go visit my family! Thank you!!!

Nice basement apartment set-up with plenty of amenities. Upstairs tenant’s can be kind of noisy, but that’s something you have to deal with. Kathy was very nice to deal with and communication was always quickly responded to. We enjoyed seeing her artwork and even purchased a painting from her. Thanks for taking care of us….

Perfect location as a home base. Close to EstesPark, Fort Collins, downtown Loveland. Property had everything we needed; toaster oven, hot plate, big fridge, Keurig. It does have steep steps down to apartment but has a railing; We had no problems navigating them with luggage. Nice table and chairs on deck great for morning coffee. Televisions were easy to use.

We had a great stay. It was the perfect “home base” for us while we were in town for a sports camp for one our kids. We loved being so close to the lake. We took an evening walk one night. During the day we enjoyed the beach! It’s open to the public and free. Also, the parks are great for the kids. And the public bathrooms are clean. We love Loveland after our first stay. The basement unit met our needs and we would stay again. I will say that we could hear the tenants a little bit at night when they or their dogs were walking around, but it wasn’t terrible. Kathy, our host, was attentive and went above and beyond for us.

The owner took a pride in proving the guests with a clean, comfortable place to stay. The price is completive to a hotel, however, the space, the comfort, the accommodations are far beyond than hotel staying. We are very happy with our staying and for sure use it again.

This place has a great location and was priced nice. We did not however see that it was a basement apartment until we got there with some pretty steep stairs. Wouldnt have been any problem, but we did have a new born and hauling all hos stuff up and down steps was a little bit of a pain. Bit for a group of adults visitimg the area this would be a great place

This place was the best place for me & my bestfriend to stay while visiting our old childhood friend that we hadnt seen in a long time! its super close to many hiking trails, and nature parks. its very spacious and the bathroom is amazing. The owners made the whole thing super easy. 10/10

Great little space
This is a great little space. You have the downstairs basement area mostly (there's a washer and dryer and half bath upstairs when you first walk in). The space had everything we needed. While we didn't bring our dogs, there was space for dogs if needed. The owners have 2 great dogs that are sometimes in the backyard where you access the property. We didn't spend much time at the house but it was quiet and in a good neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this location and if we get back in the area, we will check on availability to stay here again.

We had a great stay in a great rental. The unit was very clean and everything worked. Especially nice neighborhood, good parking and very friendly for having a dog in our party. An exceptionally good value and I would definitely recommend for a small family with a pet.

Stay in Longmont
My only complaint was the smell of the apartment and the cleanliness. I had to air freshen after the first night because it made me sick throughout the first night. It didn’t feel or smell fresh. It smelt closet like, if that makes sense, a little dusty. My suggestion would to have air freshener or a wallflower of some sort. The beds are not that soft. Otherwise great! The host texted through out to check in. I would stay here again!
