The hosts Wendy and Kyle were very helpful and friendy. The room was comfortably and well furnished with everything you needed, complete with tea and coffee making facilities. The en-suite was beautifully clean and everything worked well.

There were rather a lot of stairs, which gets more difficult as one gets older.

Free access to come and go, a great breakfast, fantastic, welcoming friendly hosts in Wendy and Kyle. A wonderful quiet residential area but only a short walk to the promenade and the centre for pubs/restaurants and public transport.

Friendliness of kyle. Like the way he interacted with all his guests and got us all talking. This would be especially great for solo guests.

I loved my stay at Ashfield. My partner and I loved the room. The big windows, the view from the windows, the king bed, the cosy bathroom, the delicious breakfast, the friendly owners... Wow! What a great place to stay! My partner and I booked this for a weekend to attend our friends' wedding. We enjoyed the place so much. We loved waking up to a delicious Full English for breakfast with fresh coffee and juice. There's a little park outside the property, and the main attractions of Douglas are just a 10-min walk. The staff were so lovely... we had a great time! Highly recommend it! Also, they had these mints at the entrance.. uff I became obsessed!

A fantastic stay at the Ashfield, from the welcoming and genuinely caring Wendy and Kyle. My room was a perfect size, with space to use away from the bed and bathroom, which was well-proportioned and cleaned. The breakfast was delicious. 10/10 fantastic guesthouse
