The staff were great, and helped us from the beginning. However, the air conditioning in the room was not good so we didn’t good so good sleep. Important to note that only that room had some problems, we stayed in the same hotel for four more days and the other rooms and apartments were very good.

Air conditioning was not so good and the bathroom was small for housing both shower and WC. Nevertheless, only that room, as we stayed for four more days and other rooms we nice.

Excellent staff, great location for enjoying life along the seafront.

Very nice people, Jeumali especially, they help us with everything, parking, indications, free coffee, tea, water, and the garden is magnificent!

The staff/owner was very friendly. The place looks nice from outside.

The issue is this place is way overpriced compared to the facilities. Small room with tiny bathroom. The only reason they can charge is because of good reviews which is really surprising. There are much nicer hotels nearby if you spend a bit more. Also this area is not really convenient if you want to walk to usual tourist attractions, although it looks closer on map, it's a steep climb.

Overall, we really enjoyed staying here. The location was good in that it was only about a 15 min walk to the main tourist areas (Blue Mosque, Haggia Sophia, Cisterns, etc.). The staff (Mahmet and Yulia) were great - very kind and considerate.

Mehmet and Yulia, our hosts, were incredible. I believe we all would consider them like family. They sure treated us that way, always willing to go the extra mile to serve and assist us.

I cannot think of anything. We love Istanbul and love Mehmet and Yulia. We hope to come back when our travels allow. The airline lost our luggage and so, they found a spot for my group of ten a week earlier too. What a gift to have more time with them in this fun city.

Great location (about 15 minutes to Hagia Sophia on foot) , friendly staff and cute place. I like this place very much. Really this is great place to stay in Istanbul. We stayed in Family apartment. It was clear and there were all we need.

property was in a fantastic location. the host Cumali was was friendly and helpful. We even needed to amend our booking to include someone extra and this was done within minutes of the request. The other staff were also lovely. Would highly recommended staying here. I will definitely do so again if the opportunity arises.

Nothing much really. Maybe the breakfast is nice (not included in the room, you have to pay extra)

1) We checked in around 9pm (arrived from Cappadocia). The staff left and said that they had just turned on the heater and will be working after few hours. However, the heater doesnt work at all. we contacted the hotel thru whatsapp at around 11pm and was told they they have left and will come back to fix it the next day. Just imagine we (adult, kids and baby) had to sleep in cold (it was about 6degree). 2) The house sleeps 10 people (beds plus sofa beds for 11pax). there were 10 of us and there were only 1 bathroom in the house! all 10 of us had to take turn to use the bathroom (shower and toilet bowl in the same bathroom) which is insane. they didn't specify in the page, so please be alert on this 3) Shower is also clogged. The whole toilet will turn into pool just after 5minutes of shower, and the water will only drained after 10minutes. Just imagine that plus 10 people in the house using the same shower everyday. 4) Kitchen appliances are old 5) they didnt provide any coffee/ tea/ sugar. when i requested, they just place 3 sachet of tea beg and 3 sachet of coffee powder. for 10 pax! 6) toiletries provided is just 3 bottles of shampoo and 3 small bottles of shower gel (the standard small bottles that you found in the usual hotel). they only replenish after I complaint 7) The hotel is located about 1km worth of walking up the really steep hill from nearest tram station. So if you have babies, or elderly ,this place is really not suitable for you

Cumali was one of the best person available to help during the stay. We really enjoyed our stay. Surely recommend and coming back soon

Amazing place, amazing hosts and amazing location. We were warmly welcomed by Yulia and Cumali who gave us excellent service. Cumali was very helpful and proactive, he carried all of our luggage all the way up the 2nd floor (we are 9 people, that's a lot of heavy luggage !). I hope his body and lower back is fine. Tell him to take care of himself ! Also when we went to the nearby store to buy water, he was also there and he offered to bring the water to our rooms. What a kind person! Yulia was also a great host she made us breakfast and her turkish coffee is quite good (not so bitter). haha. Room was fine and they provided us with all our needs and requests. Location was great too, super close walking distance to all the tourist sights, like Haghia Sophia and Topkapi Museum. Highly recommend!

We stayed 4 nights at Sultanahmet Isil hotel in September 2022. That is, we booked with them, because when we arrived the hotel was closed and a young guy who was beside the door showed us to our room, which was an apartment in a semi-abandoned building nearby. The apartment was huge for 2 persons, with 3 rooms, 2 double beds, 3 single beds and a crib, a kitchen, a bathroom. and a living room. The beds were not comfotable at all, and the curtains did not block effectively the bright light from the street, so I would suggest buying sleep masks if you're staying here. The location is good, near all the monuments in Sultanahmet, at a 15-minute walking distance from Hagia Sophia and the Blue mosque
