About this chalet rental
This 3300 square foot, 3 story Chalet features 6 huge bedrooms, 2 bedrooms have their own private deck, 3 bathrooms and a ton of additional floor space that can comfortably accommodate larger groups. The first floor features an 8 ft. pool table, Pac Man arcade game, Air hockey, Shuffle board, family room with large screen TV, 2 bedrooms and a full bath. The main floor features a 20 ft raised ceiling, fireplace and a beautiful window display that opens onto a huge deck with grill and patio furniture. This floor also includes a formal dining room with a large table, nice size kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The third floor has 2 bedrooms, and a full bath and a nice size loft. Our home is less then a mile to the club house pool and lake. Enjoy the privacy of this mountain getaway while still being conveniently located to many major attractions and ski resorts. This is a Beautiful Home perfect for long Ski weekends, summer getaways, and can accommodate large groups. There are so many attractions within a short distance. Big Boulder Ski resort is 6 miles from our community. We are a short drive from the historic town of Jim Thorpe. There you can enjoy a Locomotive ride through Lehigh Gorge, theater, antiquing, restaurants and shops. Hickory Run State Park is only 15 mins away with it's beautiful lake complete with beach ,walking trails and fishing. Short ride to Camel Beach Water park, Casinos, Pocono Speedway, Movie Theater, Bowling, miniature Golf, Golf courses, State Parks, Horse Back riding, Fishing, Hiking, and much more. Whitewater Rafting, Biking, and the largest Paint Ball site on the east coast are within minutes. In addition to the many amenities within our community including an Olympic size pool, playgrounds, tennis etc. Or just kick back and do nothing!! You will love this House and location. (Maximum of 8 wristbands provided for lake/community pool, No additional wristbands are available. Children five and under do not need any wristbands. This is set by the community ) There are public lake beaches at Beltzville and Hickory Run State Park nearby. Must be 25 years or older to rent. No prom groups! The accommodations were wonderful. The house was perfect for us and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space.
A Christmas tree was there for santa to put presents under for the kids.

We travel to the area every year on the first weekend in December due to a birthday and for old time Christmas in town of Jim Thorpe.
The house had everything plus to make it a more enjoyable weekend. The game room was one of the best and kept us having a great time. The house is beautiful, comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. We couldn't believe the space it offered all throughout. We want to once again thank the owners for renting to us and thank you for having a Christmas tree in living room. This was a plus. We usually travel with a mini tree for our celebration. If we could make a suggestion would be to add TVs in all bedrooms. But, all in all, great place to stay, very clean and plenty of beds for a large group like us. Definitely one of the best houses we have stayed at. Will definitely look to rent again in the future.

The house has tons of sleeping spaces, an extra large dining room table, decks and balconies, which provides plenty of space for a large number of people. The hot tub, pool table, and air hockey table were bonuses. There are a ton of places to hike nearby, and a short drive from the quaint village of Jim Thorpe. We had a great weekend getaway with friends and would certainly come back.

It was a great stay. As long as your group is prepared there shouldn’t be any issues. The place is immaculate, picturesque and every other positive word I can use. My group spent a lot of time in the house and it is truly a great place to stay. Everything is well put together and clean. The amenities (hot tub, pool, etc) were entertaining and the ample balconies and space was fantastic. Working with Linda was very easy and she made sure we had everything we needed. There is limited towels and toilet paper so it’s important that you bring as much as you’ll need. But there are area stores that can provide it.

This is a beautiful home with all the amenities listed and accurate photographs. The host is very responsive and made check-in easy. It was an awesome spot for a getaway with friends who haven’t seen each other in months. Highly recommended!

We had a large group of friends rent this property for a long weekend getaway. It was absolutely perfect! From the endless activities at the house alone to the LARGE dinning room table where 16 of us fit comfortably we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The host also answered very promptly to any inquiries we had throughout the weekend which was very helpful. Beautiful property and a great rental experience we will 100% be rebooking if we ever come back for another trip to this area!

Our family use to go away when the kids were little but now everyone is grown up and starting their own lives/family. It was so great to just hang out and reconnect with my children and nephews and their wives/fiances. We plan to keep the tradition going after a long absence.

This house is beautifully maintained, very clean and very comfortable. We were a large group and everyone had plenty of room. The kitchen table is huge and we were all able to sit together. The kids loved the first floor with the pool table & air hockey. The hot tub was a great added bonus. The owner was very easy to deal with. This is a great house!

Respectful that this is your vacation and doesn't drop by multiple times or ask for unreasonable requests (last host, upon arrival, asked if we could go without using the washing machine during our stay because the last guests had used it too much). Thank you for your hospitality, we loved the house!

This was our second stay at this property. It was perfect for our group of 13 women. There are enough rooms and beds for everyone, with more than enough space left over. The owner, Linda, is always quick to respond to any questions! The house was again very clean and we had a wonderful time. We hope to return again.

Home was spacious. Well equipped and clean. Spent each night with family in game room. Enjoyed our dinners on outdoor deck. Would have liked BBQ on deck as opposed to 1st floor. My guess it is a fire hazard concern. 100% recommend home for any large family gathering!

We enjoyed our time at the house. It was comfortable with good amenities and a great base for our adventures. My grandchildren enjoyed the swimming pool and basketball court. We had 8 bracelets for 12 people but it worked out taking turns. The hot tub was enjoyed as well as pool table and air hockey. I would recommend this home.

We had a wonderful time for are girls weekend. Property host was wonderful to work with , responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had. I Overall a great place ,wish their was a elevator to haul everything up, but we made it work. Having the outside deck was a added bonus. Saw tons of wild life. Bedrooms and common area floor plan was well thought out plenty of space
Beds and sofa’s were very comfortable . My wish list would include another refrigerator, additional trash can, and more kitchen utensils and cookware. We were cooking in during are stay and using a lot paper products. Several trips were made to the trash dumpster.

Family Vacation 2022
This property worked great for our multi family stay. Kids and adults all found this house a great vacation get-away. The host was easy to communicate with. We stayed in June and would have liked to have been able to open the sliding doors (we didn't need or use the air) but there were no screens. Also, it would have been a bit more helpful if there were more serving dishes for large group meals- not a deal breaker but be aware. Also would have liked linens to have been provided-- we knew that was not the case but would have been nice, again not a deal breaker as host recommended a linen service we used.
We had a great time and used the beach, lake and pool multiple times. Make sure you are aware ONLY 8 wrist bands come with the house. (Not an issue for us but could be for other larger groups.)

Great house for large groups
We had a large group of 13 adults and the house was perfect. The house is very spacious and we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. Bedrooms/bathrooms are very large as is the deck. The dining room table fit as all for meals and games. Definitely looking forward to staying there again.

Friendsgiving Weekend
From the start of looking into this home the owner was very attentive with messages which was great! We were very excited about our stay. The layout was perfect, rooms were large and it was everything our group of 10 adults and 4 kids needed! We enjoyed riding bikes outside, walking to the lake, enjoying the hot tub and the air hockey table was a huge hit! We would defiantly rent again! My only comments would be that we mentioned we were coming for a Friendsgiving and asked about the stock of the kitchen and we’re informed it was fully stocked, so we didn’t bring anything. Some things were missing/slim to use. No measuring cups, no pot holders for oven, 1 baking sheet, 2 pots, 2 sauté pans. We ran to dollar general which was only a quick 5 minute drive and got what we needed but would say the kitchen could use a few items. That would not be something to keep us from going back as everything else was spectacular. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your wonderful home!

10 year college reunion
Our 12 group, MSU 10 year college reunion was AMAZING and it's all because of Linda's hospitality and kindness. We had last minute changes to our group with one of our friends arriving and they were so gracious about adding them onto the vrbo. Thank you so much, the place was Spacious, so clean and had MORE than enough room for our fluctuating 12-14 person group. Also the house is super sound proof, half of the group was on the balcony while the other half was inside and we barely heard a thing from the inside. Just overall such a great weekend in a beautiful Poconos home. Thank you Linda!!!!
