My husband, daughter, and I stayed at this two bedroom home. I like to cook on my vacations so this kitchen was a wonderful delight. It had a big living room and the back area was really nice. The tiki hut had lights all around the top so you could sit there at night and visit. We did this, eating our dinner on the last night we were there. Both bedrooms had lots of room and plenty of storage area if you were staying a long period of time. The bathrooms were small, but we had two of them for three people, so it worked out good. Another thing I really liked was the Cabana Club which I walked to each day. If you stay at a property on Key Colony that are members of the Cabana Club, you can go to the pool as much as you want. They have a food menu and alcohol drinks. The only issue we had was a light that was out on the carport and we couldn't see when we came in the first night. We also couldn't see very well when we washed towels at night, because the laundry was on the carport. I'm sure it got fixed after we left, because I informed Evelyn and she was very quick to respond. I would definitely stay there again, so thank you, Evelyn for letting us stay there for the three nights. We had a great time!

The place and location were good. We saw a manatee in the channel right by the house. The cabana beach club that we had access to was great. Nice beach and pool and good drinks there. Food looked good but we did not eat there. The unit itself had a few issues, the Hot tub was not operational even though it was supposed to be. The noseeums were bad so bring bug spray. The outside was a great feature but the furniture was very uncomfortable “old bad cushions” we did enjoy our stay and the owner was very responsive when we had questions.

Very nice, well kept and most important clean. Host was very informative and communication was great. Great neighborhood, clean, quiet. We will for sure check to make sure this property is available when we come back to the keys!

This was a quiet little community that worked perfect for a 20 year anniversary trip! The bathrooms were a bit dated and could use some cleaning. But the main area/kitchen was awesome and worked well!! The outdoor area was definitely where we spent our time! Would stay again!

The outside area was fantastic. Spent most of are time at the house outside. The only problem we had was 3 wash cloths for 4 adults. I tried to get contact information such as phone number In case we had any problems. None were given.

The property rentals her friends wedding and wanted a place to stay they remind us of our oasis back. This was definitely the place. The accommodations were fantastic, the view was beautiful and the kitchen was more accommodating than any other rental we have ever used. Loved this place and if we find ourselves back in the area, it’s no doubt we’ll rent again.

This cute duplex on a canal served us well. Easy drive to Bahia Hondo and Curry Hammock State Park as well as Turtle hospital and Dolphin Research Center. Cabana Club a plus with nice pool/ hot tub and lounge chairs on tiny beach. Master Bath very cramped with poor lighting (1 light bulb) and couldn't get cold water in shower so steaming hot. Only used hall bath shower. Fun to see what is swimming in canal every morning and pelicans visited when neighbors cleaned fish. Ride the bikes to Sunset Park to sing the sun down.

Fantastic location. Great space in the back. Bathrooms are small and dated. Hot tub was sketchy. But overall great. Would definitely recommend. Evelyn, the property manager is great. Good communication. Replies within minutes of any concern. Cabana Club a definite plus.

Perfectly set up house for two couples - location is amazing. Everything you need (other than personal toiletries included) hot tub, grill etc exactly as described. Neighbors are long term renters and super nice, their two dogs are really friendly. The water in the channel got very weedy by the end of our stay. The Cabana Club where the pool is at is walkable and has a nice beach and pool. I highly recommend this place for two couples or a small family.

communication regarding parking, fees, space for additional vehicles was untimely and done poorly. Many rules regarding this town and space for vehicles was a challenge. Would be nice to know in advance. The boat lift was great! The home was well stocked with spices and seasonings which was quite nice.

The home was exactly as described! Great little property on the canal in Key Colony Beach. House was very well furnished for our needs. We found everything in the house that was needed for a stress-free stay. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, the kitchen was well stocked (and clean!), the outside tiki hut was awesome and has a fan to keep air moving! Great spot to stay. The home even comes with a boat lift to keep your boat out of the water for a little extra money - it's worth it! The only shortcoming of the location is the boat lift is a little hard to use when the neighbor has their boat on their lift. Our boat was 26' and when getting in and out of the lift, it was a little tight but certainly manageable! The host was very communicative throughout the entire booking process and extremely accommodating to our needs. Would definitely rent here again!

We had a wonderful experience in Key Colony. The house was perfect. It was a great size, very clean, and had everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable, even the sofa beds had memory foam mattresses and were very comfortable. The location was very central to everything we needed. We never had to travel more than 15 minutes to get where we needed to go. I would definitely recommend this rental and would love to stay here again!

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The property manager was very communicative and helpful. Location was perfect and we were greeted by a family of manatees from the dock when we arrived. Only complaint is that the hot tub was disgusting. It smelled like chlorine and had a green slime ring where the water line was. Other than that, everything was great!

Well stocked house with nice back patio on the canal. We enjoyed the tiki area and hot tub. Took our paddle boards on the water from the backyard and biked as a family to the pool and beach pretty much every day.
