Saltwater hot tubs are gentler than traditional chlorine hot tubs. There is no harsh chlorine smell. You won't have that chlorine smell plus the water is softer. It does not burn your eyes in the same way as the ocean, it is more like your own tears. Beautiful house, great location, lots of stairs, but has everything you could ever ask for. Our vacation was an absolute success! Our entire family came in and it covered the needs of every single family member. My husband and I LOVED the private master suite and the bar/game room. I basically lived in the pool and the hot tub and the beach front location was perfect for an easy and private walk down for sunrise, sunset, and beach days! After multiple vacations in Hilton Head, this was the best experience so far for access to the bike paths, stores and shops, restaurants, the dinner cruises, harbor town, and the beach, just to name a few fun things. Thank you Liberty, what a great place!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on HHI. The house was great for us; plenty of room to gather together & separate areas to spread out when desired. We've rented a number of houses over the years, but never had one as well provisioned as this. Much appreciated as it saved us from lugging along so many of the little odds & ends. The amenities provided are extensive. And Liberty is fantastic: responsive, great communications and very impressive info provided on the house as well as vacationing on Hilton Head.

Our family vacation became a nightmare after 5 days when live cockroaches, casings, feces & newly-hatched babies became a kitchen infestation in this home. The property manager left the state. No one was there to help. The exterminator was supposed to be there a week earlier but rescheduled for a week later. We spent the day waiting for exterminator, moving everything from every kitchen counter, exterminator spraying smelly chemicals throughout the house, sinks, kitchen counters, baseboards of the entire house & moving every tray from the cabinet because newly-hatched cockroaches were infesting there. My immune-compromised husband has had sections of lungs removed so he had to stay outside for several hours along with three young grandchildren. I sent numerous photos and videos to the property manager & requested 2 days refund and 4 hotel rooms for the next two days. The property manager was searching for the hotel rooms when the owner and team said they would not refund the days or pay for hotel rooms. They said cockroaches were normal for rainy summers in South Carolina. We saw approximately 20 live and dead cockroaches the first few days, but woke up to hundreds on the 5th day. After shaking out every item of clothing and every bag and piece of luggage onto white sheets, as well as throwing out food from the counters and moving everything to the dining room table and the tops of dressers in bedrooms, half of our family decided to leave immediately. One family of 4 took so long to get packed after dealing with the exterminator, searching for cockroaches in all of their items and loading the car, they decided to stay at a hotel and leave 3 expensive duffel bags at the house. No one could eat another item in that house or off of the dishes or glasses. Our family steak and shrimp BBQ planned for dinner was thrown in the garbage - over $250 worth of food purchased the day before. 5 of 11 of us stayed because three had a flight scheduled for Saturday. I could not justify paying another $1,200 for us to stay in a hotel for two nights since we were already losing almost $3,900 for the two nights after the others left. The property manager said it isn't about the money with the homeowner - it's the principle. The Vrbo info on the house never stated anything about cockroaches. Should we assume we there would be an infestation of 3 types of cockroaches when paying a luxury price? Inexcusable - we deserve refunds requested. Worst nightmare vacation.

This house was perfect for our 8 adults and 7 children. It was the best equipped house that we’ve rented. The game room, pool, decks and ocean front location made for a fun time for all of us. There were plenty of pool toys and beach equipment. We have many wonderful memories of South Forest Beach and would come again.

This place was great. There were plenty of rooms for everyone to be comfortably.
The large deck on the second level was a great gathering place, could hear music from he Marriott with happy hour, or it was great for coffee in morning
The kitchen was stocked with every utensil you would need, we were group of 10 and never lacked anything. The grill was great on the deck we cooked and had several meals on the deck, always a breeze and comfortable
Large game room was great for family to gather and play pool, cards etc.
There were plenty of beach chairs, and beach towels . Pool was also great when we came up from beach, lot of pool floats .
The pool and hot tub received alot of use it was nice
The bike trail access was at end of driveway, so easy to go biking.
The property manager was the best, always responded and helpful
For a family of 10 and I heard no complaints it was a great place for a large group
The location was close to restaurants, and shops ,could easily walk or bike

Sea Breeze: Best Ever
This property was perfect for us. The 12 of us were very comfortable the entire time. The amenities were exceptional! All you need is your swimsuit and clothes. The extra space of this property was also exceptional. Property manager, Liberty Bumpus was very accommodating. The top deck is wonderful with a constant “Sea Breeze”. Best VRBO we have ever used!

Where do I begin? Simply perfect in every way! Liberty was so expedient in answering any questions! She is truly a joy to work with. She feels like my long lost sister. The house was extremely clean! Beds were the most comfortable ever. Everyone in our group said so. In fact, all of the furniture is in great condition and very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. In fact , my daughters boyfriend even made Beef Wellington and we enjoyed it up on the rooftop deck. The views from there are stunning. Being right beside the Marriott We enjoyed the live music during happy hour in our own private setting. We loved how spacious the grounds were and hoe private the sleeping quarters were within the house. We had the pool heated which was perfect! We utilized every inch of all the refrigerators which was awesome to have. Beach chairs and wagon was used every day! Coffee and wine was drank out on the boardwalk deck! I would definitely stay there again…even our two dogs enjoyed it! The yard is nice and big and did not seem to mind the beach goers walking to the beach on the path beside the house. I felt like I was at my home. It didn’t feel like a rental at all. I am somewhat of a hotel snob so that is speaking volumes! Thank you for opening up your home to us. I do have to say that besides the beach, the game room was our favorite space. And had we known Frank was a Michigan State Fan we would have brought something Ohio State to place up on the memorabilia shelf…LOL! Oh well…maybe next time! I have fallen in love with Hilton Head! See you again soon!

Perfect Vacation
The property was perfect- my husband and I rented it with our 3 grown children and their partners also our grandchild. Everything was there that we needed and location was excellent right next to the Marriott.

We had a wonderfully perfect week at 5 Alder Lane. We had beautiful accommodations, fantastic beach access, a great manager and an incredible family vacation. I rate this property A+++ !!! The only negative was that we had to leave it at the end of our time. I highly, highly recommend this home and manager !!

If you are traveling with a large group, there is both plenty of room for everyone, and sufficient privacy as well. So much thought was obviously put into the offerings of the property, and the yard is absolutely massive. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!

BC visits Hilton Head
4 couples enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. The location is perfect, and everyone has plenty of space. There are so many amenities provided that you really do only need to bring your clothes and golf clubs! We cooked in a couple of nights and the kitchen was well stocked. We did have some issues with the property. Liberty is terrific, responsive and kept us informed of resolutions of the issues. She really is on top of everything, a great communicator! We already reserved our week for 2022 which I think says it all!

Fall Vacation
The accommodations were more than enough for our annual fall family vacation to the beach. We range in age from 7 to 81, and there was a space for everyone. The kids loved the pool and toys provided, the grandparents enjoyed the private deck looking out at the beach and ocean. We had a week of gorgeous weather, and Liberty was very helpful and accommodating!

I can’t say the word AMAZING enough! First off, the host, Liberty is a pure pleasure to communicate with! She answered all my questions before we even arrived and sent everything we needed to know ! The house is loaded with beach chairs, towels and coolers! All you need is ice and drinks :)! There was 9 of us and we had plenty of space. No one got on each other’s nerves haha! The Arcade room with the pool table was an amazing hit! We all hung out there on rainy days and nights and had a blast. The walk to the beach is breathtaking and it’s literally priceless! We had two little dogs and there was plenty of space for them to run around outside and the beach. Thank you Liberty for such a great time! We will be back! :)
