Absolutely stunning location, wonderful warm hosts. Great pool, and fireflys in the treeline at night. really magical view of the rolling Tuscan hills, where olive groves, vines and forest meld into a delightful patchwork.

location. according to advertisement, I thought it was much closer to Castellina in Chianti. it was over 1/2 hour away. one review said it was within-9 minute walk to town, it was a 10 minute drive to San Donato. Property needs some TLC. Washer would not work. There was less than one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. Needs better cleaning. Shower in bedroom is so small, maybe good for kids, but not adults. Water everywhere.

Beautiful location, very helpful and nice host. Everything was amazing. But be aware that there are a lot of mosquitos and flies.

Really nice place and house. Fantastic view. Large, clean pool for the apartments. Maurizio is the best, very friendly and helpful. Worth to come back!

All was fine, just a little remark. The gravel road for the last 1500 m is a bit rough. Not to recommend for a sportscar or similar, no problem for an SUV.

Compared to previous comments, there has been a lot of improvement on kitchen facilities. With lot of new cooking pans, plates and tools. We have been cooking lunch and dinner and had all we needed. The view is AMAZING, especially if you book the house with two bedrooms (which you really should). It gives you a HUGE private garden with the most peaceful and amazing view I've seen. The terrace is really comfy for having all your diners as well as the long chairs. Arrival is not easy, but once you are in the property you have your own parking. The village is well located, restaurant really close by, you can even walk. Groceries less than 10min by car and all the nice villages in Chianti as well as Firenze and Sienna reachable in less than 45 minutes. Communication with the host was smooth and Maurizio suggested us a very nice 2 hours walk directly from the house.

Be mindful that there is NO SWIMMING POOL if you stay before 1st of May. Also no heating after 15th of April, unless you would request it. We would have appreciate a bit more of tips and suggestions from a local on things to do and test out.

View was breathtaking, really beautiful. Location was very quite but close enough to local shops and a few excellent restaurants Fantastic swimming pool which the kids loved and also had the amazing view to admire whilst relaxing Excellent host - Sylvia was really helpful and easy to contact and spoke excellent English. Made lots of suggestions for things like places to eat and vineyards that are worth visiting. Mesh on windows to stop mosquitoes - nice to keep windows open and not get eaten

Would be nice to have air conditioning at least in the bedrooms. Only one bedroom had a fan - would help if both did. Only used the kitchen for breakfast and the occasional lunch but felt it could do with some minor updates - didn't bother me as wanted to eat at the fantastic local restaurants.

Amazing view, very convenient house, Sylvia the host was very helpful. The house was in a quiet area, takes you 5 minutes to get up the hill, but only 10 minutes drive away from shops and a 10 minutes walk to a nice local restaurant. Good swimmingpool!
