I think the level of your satisfaction with this property will really depend on what you are looking for. It is perfectly located right above Chocolateria San Gines. Right in the center of Madrid, which makes it easy to get around. So if you are looking for that and plan to stay out late exploring the city it might be perfect for you. It is certainly huge and was a good size for our group and Daniel the host was very accommodating to us. But for our group we did not have a good stay because it was incredibly loud. Like above a discotheque until 3:30 AM every night, drunk people staggering up and down the stairs loudly yelling. It was not good for our kids or our family and kept everyone up late even using sound machines, ear plugs, you name it. So I do not recommend for a family group. We also struggled to get enough hot water for all 8 of us to shower each day so we had to stagger showers. I would choose a quieter location for our next trip to Madrid so we could get some sleep.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Madrid’s city center. The apartment was clean and specious. It gave us convenient access to the city. The owner communicated with us and was available throughout our stay. We were granted the ability to drop our bags early due to an early arrival which allowed us to start exploring the city without the burden of our bags. Overall the apartment was very clean and included all the amenities described. We recommend this apartment to any who seeks a place to stay in Madrid.

Easy walking to different places, plenty of bars and restaurants around, across the road from square, excellent host with very good communication too!

A group of friends traveling to Madrid stayed here. There was a lot of bed space and awesome location! Super close to so many metro stations. We walked everywhere from home and the chocolate place with churros across the street was delicious! The host let us drop our bags early which was so kind. I would reccomended to any large group.

This spot was so cool! And the host was incredible, the space is so large and it was right in the center of Madrid. Everything we wanted to see and do was a 10 minute walk or short bus ride away. The host was also very helpful and let us leave our stuff in a locked room upstairs for our last day so we could adventure around without carrying anything heavy.

It is a centrally located walk up. The entrance is in a pedestrian alleyway crammed full with restaurants, bars and people. The noise level is very high. To the point that my watch was giving me repeated high noise exposure alerts. The front 2 rooms are effectively unusable. We had booked 4 nights but after not sleeping at all the first night accepted our losses and booked another hotel. It you're hard of hearing or tolerate high noise, this could be great. If not, avoid!

The location and the size of the apartment is perfect. Everything is close to the apartment. Overall great stay and the location is perfect to visit this beautiful city.The linens and bathrooms were clean. The communication with Daniel was really good. we were a bit disappointed that we did not get the apartment on the picture, the kitchen and living room furniture were different, the bedrooms were not the same, no wallpaper on the wall and some of the showers were smaller. When we initially booked this apartment we wanted this specific one because we liked the decoration, the bigger couch and the antique floor and unfortunately did not get the one on the picture but the size of the apartment and layout is similar. Also, it is in a busy street and can be noisy at night, we were aware before booking so we brought ear plugs. Also the floor could be washed.
