Location
1. The wifi didn't work at all. The old modem was useless.
2. All communication was blacked out, We could not use Sim cards or phones either.
It was like a black hole.
Wifi worked across the street at the pub though.
3. The TV couldn't connect to wifi so no Smart Tv even though the apps were on the TV
4. Normal TV reception was terrible too.
5. A coffee machine. Yeah! but no coffee. Not even a scoop
6. A washing machine. Fabulous! but no washing powder, not even a scoop.
7. Windows were dirty.
8. Hand rails on narrow steep stairs would be safer.
9. Some clearer instructions to use cooker or hot water.
Never did find the 'Airing cupboard on the right'
10. We got parking details upon arrival but not from a message when we asked prior to arriving.
More useful to know especially since driving and parking are so difficult.
11. Communication was limited to the details to access the key.
12. Perhaps consider a new front door and/or lock.

Cottage was very nice, a little TLC needed in some.places, light bulb on stairs gone and other flickering, not enough toilet roll and no scissors in the kitchen

The location was super central, right in the hustle and bustle of the village. I had my cup or morning tea on the sea front a stones throw from the cottage. Pub, cafes, 15 seconds walk
Beautiful cosy cottage, log burner, range, quaint kitchen.
Perfect for a couple's romantic getaway, a comfy stop if you're walking the coastal path or a small family.
Very small bathroom with shower only if you're sharing
Heating isn't fantastic in the winter
Cars and tourists coming down Fore Street can be a bit constant if you're in the cottage. The road is super tight so they come right up to the house. I didn't mind but it may bother some people so worth mentioning.
Very steep stairs - again okay for me but worth noting not good for some.

This quaint fishing cottage was a special place to stay right in the heart of Port Isaac. Shops and pub right outside the door. Absolutely loved stay in this Cornish village.
The stairs are very steep and a bit concerning. The bathroom needs renovating. We arrived at night, it was dark and being unfamiliar with the area we did get a little lost but a phone call corrected our directions.

The properties location couldn’t have been more perfect for an authentic Port Isaac stay. The bedrooms were great and very spacious, the first floor sitting area was lovely & with the window open, you can hear the hustle and bustle of Port Isaac and the ground floor kitchen/dining area was fabulous and a great room to first walk into.
Only one bathroom & it is very small. Windows needed cleaning inside & out as multiple spiders and dust on them when we opened for fresh air. Also some were screwed shut which was confusing. Outside could do with a clean up and paint.

Excellent position a very cute quirky cottage right in the heart of town.
Pillows not very comfortable and the main bed is too small. The main bed needs to be upgraded from a double bed to a queen with a good mattress.
Bathroom smells all the time and it's the smallest shower I have ever used.
This isn't a dislike because I knew about it before I booked but others need to be aware that this cottage is over 3 floors and you will be totally sick of stairs by the time you leave.
Also it's a very long walk, up and down steep hills from the car parking to the cottage. Make sure you have everything you need, coats, milk, snacks, groceries etc because it's a long walk back up the hill to the Co-Op if you need supplies. On the plus side your legs get a very good work out.

The cottage is well located and caters for everything needed .
There appears to be a general problem with the hot water, based on similar comments left by other patrons in the guest book provided. There are instructions provided to check that the switch has not perhaps automatically tripped, which we checked repeatedly, but either way, still no hot water, lukewarm at best. We attempted calling the number provided for maintenance, but there is no mobile signal at the cottage nor nearby. I emailed the landlord via Booking.com and never received a reply.

Some parts a little bit shabby but nothing that bad.

Location was amazing right in the heart of Port Isaac. Property was clean and ready for us with clean towels and bedding. Nice quiet and friendly place and would definitely revisit again in the future.
Wasn't advised that the nearest parking was a 10 minute walk from the property with our bags. We were not advised there are no shops within a short walking distance for food or supplies.

Lovely cottage and location
No hot water in the cottage and contact number in info folder was unobtainable!! So couldn't get any help.

Great location, quirky cottage, good facilities
No hot water as it had broken before we got there. They had thought it was fixed but wasn't unfortunately.
Wouldn't have stopped us coming but would have stopped half an hour of wondering x

Lovely atmospheric cottage right by the harbour.
Bathroom a tad small and stairs a little steep but to be expected in a place like this

Beautiful setting. Cottage is quaint and quirky. Perfect for a weekend away.

The location was ideal. The cottage was roomy and cute.
We would have enjoyed a short explaination of how to use the washer, microwave and shower. They were all unfamiliar. One roll of toilet paper was insufficient for three women on a 2 night stay. A little history of the cottage would have been nice.

Great location. Cool old house . Sorta crazy the bathroom , tv we’re on one floor , with kitchen and bedroom on separate floors. I would stay again for sure. Wouldn’t recommend for someone who has trouble getting up and down stairs.

The quaintness of the place and the quirky pictures and arty stuff.

Excellent location and characterful property. Some people wouldn’t like it as it does need updating and decorating on all three floors but we liked the quaintness.
Wi-fi kept dropping which was made worse due to no phone signal with all networks. Bathroom became musty very quickly due to the fan not working and no window.

Excellent location in the heart of Port Isaac. Easy access to the coastal paths. A good selection of local shops. Quirky 'period' property. Seagulls were a reminder of proximity to the harbour!
Very small bathroom. DVD player didn't work.

Breakfast was wonderful, cooked myself. Location was perfect
The key box was corroded shut but thanks to a strong belt buckle I managed to open it

We liked the proximity to centre of village & harbour. The kitchen & dining area were great. We never got round to lighting fire but Cottage was cosy enough!
DVD player did not work but this is just a minor complaint, no big issue!

The Old style property which is a delight to spend time in ,location couldn't have been more perfect for us ,car parking was very cheap for the weekend stay and not too far to walk to.
Not a lot too be fair
I know a lot of the hospitality industry closes in Jan so if you book this time of year don't get disappointed

Needs a bit of TLC (front door, windows, radiators)
