About this house rental
Private lakeside retreat with direct access to beautiful Lake Keowee. You’ll have the entire guest suite to yourself. Private entrance to this 1400 sq. foot guest suite attached to main house. Large great room incorporates a living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for a family. Enjoy the lakefront firepit in the evenings and take the kayaks out for daytime fun on the water. Great getaway to relax, swim, kayak, jump on the water trampoline, go fishing or attend a Clemson game. The Space Kitchen is fully equipped with full size stove, refrigerator and microwave and even has a dishwasher. Drip coffee pot and coffee are provided. Suite also has a washer and dryer. 1 Full bathroom plus an outdoor shower with hot water. Sleeps 6. Spacious main bedroom has a king size bed. Access to the large “bunk room” is via the master bedroom. Bunk room has 4 XL twin beds “built in”. House is lake front with easy access to the lake. No steep hills or long staircases to climb to get to and from the water (with the exception of 1 flight of stairs to enter the guest suite). Property has a full dock which may be available if you bring or rent a boat. Please contact host in advance to discuss. Use of kayak and adult life jackets, lake noodles and beach towels all included. **Please bring life jackets for your children if you plan to use the kayaks.** New in 2022! We've added a gas grill and patio with seating. Guest Access Entrance to suite is up 1 flight of stairs. Guests have direct, easy access to the lake. 16 miles from Clemson. 10 minute drive to the local ice cream shop, Scoops in Six Mile. Important note: To enter the bunk room, you need to walk through the main bedroom. There is a door between the two for privacy, but there is no separate access to the bunk room. Please: No smoking. No pets. No events. Other Things to Note There are security cameras outside the house facing away from the house. There are no cameras inside the house, Wifi is available, but bandwidth is limited. Streaming not recommended. We have lots of board games and puzzles in case of rain.

We had an wonderful stay during parents weekend for Clemson. The accommodations were clean and modern. We appreciated the coffee and a bottle of wine. Wry nice touches and made us feel so welcome. Enjoyed coffee down by the lake one morning - very peaceful and serene.

We had a fantastic long weekend to celebrate a birthday. The house was well stocked, beds were comfy and location couldn’t have been better. The owners even pointed out a nesting pair of bald eagles directly across the cove. We will definitely be back!

Super clean and has everything a guest would need and lots of extras, too. Comfy beds and great location on Lake Keowee. While it is attached to the owner’s home, it was very private. The owners were welcoming and friendly but not intrusive in the least. We would come back for sure!

We needed a getaway and the lake guest house was perfect for us! The accommodations were beautiful and all the beds were cozy and slept great. The custom tile in the kitchen and bathroom were so pretty and it was super clean! We had a relaxing time sitting by the fire pit with plenty of wood and the next day enjoyed swimming off the dock in the clear water of Lake Keowee. Shari was easy to communicate with and was so kind. Definitely recommend!

We had a short weekend trip, but it was well worth it. The place had every amenity you could need. Ample extra towels and blankets, and a kitchen stocked with cooking utensils, baking/cooking pans, etc. We loved kayaking and just spending time by the lake! Very clean. Easy communication. We had ample privacy, but knew our hosts were available if needed. 10/10 would recommend.

Shari & Andrew have thought of everything, for their guests. The space is airy, with plenty of widows and high ceilings. Meals were a pleasure, with the well stocked kitchen and large dining table. Furniture is comfortable and clean. The entire place, in fact, is spotless. Some of our family members live with allergies and asthma, and staying at a place this clean is appreciated.
There’s lots to do outdoors, from the lake to local trails. The kids had a great time kayaking & swimming. Be sure to check out Raven Rock at Keowee Toxaway State Park! Even on rainy days, we had fun visiting Seneca’s charming downtown area.
Shari & Andrew’s place is highly recommended.

This rental was absolutely perfect for us! It was me (Mom) and my 2 older children, 17 & 22 in town for the Clemson football game and to just spend time on our favorite lake. We won't be together on Thanksgiving, so we cooked a small Turkey with all the fixings and spent lots of time just relaxing. The place is so welcoming and comfy! About 1/2 hour away from campus and 15 minutes from any necessities - perfect! Beautiful set up!

Great property! Everything exactly as described and well appointed. Only small complaint was water pressure in the shower left a lot to be desired. Would definitely stay here for a weekend again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Keowee. This is a beautiful lake front property. The carriage house was the perfect size for our family of 4. The kids loved the hidden bunk room! The owners were very helpful and available when needed, but also gave us our space. We made great use of the lake. We rented a boat and were able to park it at the dock over night. The kids loved paddle boarding around the dock and jumping on the water trampoline. We also built a fire and made s'mores at sunset. This was our first trip to Keowee but we hope to be back.

We had the most amazing time! Sheri and Andrew were so welcoming and had so many fun things for us to enjoy. They really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Our kids absolutely loved the water trampoline fire pit and kayaks. It was such a nice clean place to stay with all the comforts of home. We can’t wait to come back to this beautiful property!

Andrew and Shari were so accommodating and kind. My husband how to calf injury and could barely walk, without even having to ask, Andrew and Shari kindly walked the kayaks down to the launch ramp and later helped bring them back up. There was plenty to do and the VRBO had plenty of space for 2 adults and 4 kids. We didn’t feel cramped at all. The beds were extremely comfortable, it was quiet but we didn’t worry about having to tip toe around since we were above the garage and away from the main home.
The property had lots and lots of extra blankets, beach towels, water toys, games, life vests, kayaks…. The AC worked great (this has been a problem in other properties we rented), the home smelled good and was in excellent condition. Super clean and everything you need to be comfortable in a home away from home. The complimentary coffee and gift was so nice and appreciated.
Suggestions to guests:
-Be prepared for lots of walking
-Park the kayaks next to the ramp for your stay, then return them to the rack
-Look for Andrew in the morning working on the trains so you can have a tour!
-Bring ice trays if you’re a large family
-Kayak to the community beach in the second cove on the left, it’s awesome

Our experience was outstanding in every regard. The property is a newly finished Studio space which comfortable accomodations for up to 6. The addition of a bunk-house adjoining the main bedroom is perfect for a family as there is a shared bathroom with access through the main bedroom. The hosts graciously allow use of a dock and provide Kayaks, Paddleboard and Swim trampoline to maximize the Lake experience. Outdoor grills, picnic area and Firepit with a stunning sunset view put this property over the top and make for an experience that goes well-beyond the living space.
Highly recommended and will look to stay with this Host again in the future.

The property was clean, new and nicely prepared for us. From the board games, extra towels, to the wonderful outdoor amenities, it was wonderful!! Our kids loved swimming off the dock with all the fun water toys. And thank you Andrew for showing our girls you trains!! We loved the beautiful lake and highly recommend this property!!

Perfect taste of living on the lake!
We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the amenities that came with the place. My girls loved the kayaks. Morning kayaking was our family favorite! We truly felt at home and enjoyed everything about the home.

Perfect get away on the lake.
This was our 3rd(I think) stay here! It was amazing as always. Owners very visible/available by email, text and about on the property. Response time if any questions almost immediate. Well equipped kitchen, rental has its own gas grill, large enough refrigerator/freezer to hold our entire weeks groceries. We love the kayaks, fire pit and beautiful sunsets, we will definitely rent again!

Stay at Lake Keowee
Shari and Andrew were awesome! Great stay on one of the clearest lakes in the country! From kayaking to the lake trampoline there was no shortage of things to do for the kids. Just a 2 1/2 hr drive from Atlanta to some peace and quiet. You were great to my kids and their friends and for that you rock!

Well Appointed Apartment
We had such a nice time in this rental. It had everything we could possibly want and a fantastic location on the lake. They have lots of floats and toys for the lake and the trampoline was an added bonus. The owners are very gracious and quick to respond to any questions I had.

Beautiful location on the lake
This guest house was as described. Very clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with linens, towels, kitchen necessities, games, and water toys. The owners live in the attached main house and were very friendly and interesting to talk with - but they also gave us our space to enjoy the property as a family. We will definitely look to rent there again!

Fantastic lake retreat!
Fabulous lakefront property with easy kayak launching, dock, beautiful sunsets, and generous amenities. The suite is larger that it seems in photos, sparkling clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing vacation. Many basic pantry supplies and coffee/filters provided are very helpful. Quiet and peaceful. Shari & Andrew are gracious, friendly, accommodating hosts. We would love to return!

Golf getaway on the lake
Great location with plenty to do or just relax. We golfed, played on the lake and hiked. Shari is terrific to work with. Second annual here and we’ll be back for a third.

Beautiful and serene
The guesthouse felt very clean and modern. Great communications from hosts and Shari responded right away. Had a brand new gas grill, awesome firepit and many kayaks and a paddleboard. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights for a college golf tournament at the Reserve. Proximity was close! Newly renovated property was beautiful! All the extras were provided! Owners were very responsive. Did not get a chance to utilize the lake amenities, but kayaks and fire pit looked awesome! Hoping to stay here same time next year!

Modern, clean, meticulously appointed pied-a-terre on lake Keowee. The lake is gorgeous and warm.; comfortably swimmable in mid October. Shari and Andrew are very welcoming hosts. The dock, ramp and water toys are a lot of fun.
