X-country skiing, skating, hockey, ice fishing and centrally located to multiple ski resorts in NY and Vermont. This direct waterfront home was recently reconstructed to maximize lake and mountain views with high quality features throughout. The home's 1st floor design has a living room w/view, dining room w/view, bedroom w/view, a very modern kitchen w/snack bar for 4 people, full bath and a laundry room. The second floor boasts hardwood floors, a master bedroom with majestic views, a 2nd bedroom and a ceramic tile bathroom with a double vanity, and walk-in shower. Enjoy some of the spectacular sunsets while having your choice of dining outside under cover or in the open air on the wrap- around deck. This property also features a air transfer system for fresh air being transferred in to the house. Centrally located, this property is minutes to Lake George, Saratoga, the Great Escape fun park, shopping, fine dining, hiking, skiing and all the amenities the Adirondacks have to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glen Lake Sunset Escape! The house was immaculate and well appointed. The views were beautiful, as was the quiet and relaxing setting. Christine was a wonderful host and we highly recommend!!!

We stayed at Sunset Escape to spend time with family and to enjoy the fall foliage & this home exceeded our expectations. This is the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in - every detail was thought of, from the gorgeous & sparkling windows with views, to the small touches like throws on the sofas, to all of the kitchen accessories, Keurig coffee maker, toaster & adorable wine bar. It is a comfortable, immaculate, well laid out, charming home, in a fabulous location. We will definitely be back to enjoy more time at Sunset Escape. We'd also like to give a special thank you to our hosts, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional! We had an amazing, peaceful and relaxing week & we are so glad we stayed at Sunset Escape.

I highly recommend this property! Immaculately clean on arrival, extremely well-equipped, and many little “extras” in terms of supplies. A very peaceful spot, quiet area but convenient to all the area attractions.

We enjoyed the week at Glen Lake Sunset Escape as a family. Christine was an awesome host, the house, location and lake were perfect. We would recommend staying here to anyone looking to relax and enjoy the local attractions (e.g., hiking Shelving Falls, seeing a movie at Glen Falls Drive-in, shopping at the outlets and in Lake George Village). If preference is to stay at the lake then there is kayaking, swimming and plenty of fish to catch.

My family and I enjoyed our time at Glen Lake Sunset Escape. Some days, we just hung around the property; fishing, kayaking, sitting by the fire, playing yard games, and watching t.v. Some days we went out exploring; Lake Placid area, Fort Ticonderoga, Lake George, Shelving Rock, horseback riding, playing mini golf and shopping at the outlets. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The showers were hot and there were plenty of towels. We had everything we needed to make some meals in the house and on the grill. It was so nice to have extra items like paper towels, toliet paper, soap, etc. there already for us to use. When talking to locals, they all said we were lucky to be in a house along Glen Lake.

This is a beautiful lakefront home that is newly renovated, comfortable and well equipped. The lake is beautiful, quiet and stocked with fish. The owners went out of their way to make us welcome and comfortable. A great vacation!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Sunset Escape!!! The house is impeccably clean, and the view is absolutely stunning!!!. This is indeed an exceptional place to stay and unwind! Christine was so nice in giving us all the information and making us feel so at home and welcoming! I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful / serene place to stay near Lake George / Glen Lake area!!!

Every detail you would want and some you didn’t even know you needed was thought out and perfect for our stay. Not only is the lake location beautiful but the home itself was fantastic and extremely comfortable for our family (including infants). Lots of things to do in the area as well!

We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Escape!!! We loved the location and found it convenient to the places we visited in the surrounding area. The house is completely updated, spacious, and impeccably clean. The best part of all is the lake. The views from the deck and dock are spectacular and the water is beautiful. There were tons of activities to do on the property: fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, corn hole, etc. The owners went above and beyond to ensure we had a great vacation. Needless to say we had a wonderful time and look forward to returning!

What a wonderful week we had at your house at Glen Lake. Close enough to visit Lake George but Glen Lake is a little piece of heaven - swimming, fishing and kayaking right off the dock. Can't wait to return.

Perfect Lakeside Getaway
This lakefront property was the perfect getaway for our family! We were looking for a quiet home that could accommodate my husband and I and our three young girls. This property MORE than exceeded our expectations. From the moment you walk in, you feel a sense of rest and relaxation with the beautiful views of the lake. The home was exquisitely renovated and everything was so crisp and clean. So serene. And that's just speaking of the house itself. The property owners were some of the best we have experienced thus far. Chris was so kind, helpful and accommodating to us. Her level of communication and care goes far beyond what you typically receive with most rental owners. This house has everything you could want in a vacation rental and property owners! We hope to return for future vacations!

Excellent property! Pics don’t do it justice.
Awesome lake front house. Gorgeous views o f the lake. House is brand new and has all amenities, super comfortable beds, lines, towels, beautiful kitchen. The pics don’t do it justice. Def will come back in the summer time. Owners keep this place in superb shape. Lovely location. Close to stores and west mountain and six flags water park is down the street. Outlets are 2 miles down the street.

The house is tastefully decorated, comfortable, exceptionally clean, well stocked with kitchenware, and sits in a beautiful setting on Glen Lake. All lights, appliances, Wifi, etc. worked well. The entire renting, check in, and check out process was seamless. Chris was extremely responsive to my questions.
The house was PRISTINE and organized. Even the shed was clean. We used the kayaks almost every day, and it was nice to grab clean life jackets every time.

Each summer we rent a different home on Lake all across New England and we can say without a doubt this was the cleanest property we’ve ever stayed in. Not only was it the cleanest, but it had a very modern inside and most importantly it had a large yard, right on the lake, that was perfect for lounging, playing yard games, relaxing, and having fires at night.
The water at the lake was warm and clean and my two sons caught all kinds of fish (large mouth, pike, and small mouth) out of the lake. Lastly the owners couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating to our family. They obviously thought of everything when they built this home to make renters have the most relaxing and best experience possible.
We typically like to try different areas each summer, but this property is making us reconsider a return for a second year.

The house has so much charm from the front and back porch to the landscaping on the outside. The inside of the house exceptionally clean. Thank you so much for offering your home as a vacation rental. It provided instant vacation for us considering we had bad weather. We can’t wait to come back.

This is our second year staying at Sunset Escape. The owners are wonderful and friendly people. The house was immaculate and had all the amenities that you could need. We enjoyed the lake and the kayaks and being a short car ride away from Lake George village. Oh, and the kitchen is excellent with everything you need to cook meals while you stay!

Wow! Christine is a super host! She thought of every detail. The house is awesome. Love the location. Love the renovation. Beautiful lake view, plenty of outdoor space. Internet was great (my husband had to work a bit). We will be back!
