The tv didn’t work very well, buffering and difficult to watch

it was exceptionally cold. we had to sit in hats, gloves and scarfs for the entirety of our stay. the temperature was only 10degrees upon arrival. By 10pm it had risen to 15 degrees. This really spoilt what could have been a wonderful stay.

location is perfect. dog walks nearby and a few mins walk into town.

Really convenient, but hidden location- which meant it was really quiet. We where all shocked just how quiet it was, as you expect some with a town centre location, but none at all during our stay! It had everything we needed for our short stay and the second shower was a lovely surprise Really comfy, cosy and tastefully decorated

my daughter and I really liked 1 Phoenix Cottage. I wish we could have had more time there. There was plenty of room to enjoy and the kitchen had everything we needed. I would definitely rebook.

my only issue would have been, if I was on my own, was the tv. I would not have been able to log into the apps to view.

Good location in easy walking distance to shops & eateries etc, and perfect for exploring the Cotswolds. Good size spotlessly clean house, with comfortable beds and small enclosed yard, with ample parking. Very responsive host Laura although we never met - all done by phone/message. Bedrooms a great size and good furnishings - home from home. Living room and kitchen nice sizes with almost everything we needed (no spatula for the frying pan).

Opened and out of date food found on arrival in fridge, cupboard and freezer. Used razor, toothbrush and other toiletries in bathroom cabinet. Random items in bedroom drawers, limiting available storage space. Laura removed all the above the next day on request. No lock on bathroom door and no blind on bathroom window. TV via the internet would not connect to live channels so we watched catchup or youtube all the time. Guest information folder was virtually empty so we didn't know any local information, how to work the TV, other info such as what to do with recycling, or even where to leave the key on departure. We found out everything ourselves and contacted the host Laura about the TV so often she felt like family! If the info had been updated we would have had all the details at our fingertips. Guest feedback from 2 years ago mentioned the bathroom had no window blind.
