All the rooms in the villa were spacious, the property was clean and the pool was brilliant and came with floats and toys for the kids. Facilities such as the washing machine was most welcome and enabled us to pack light. Collection of the keys is only a 15 minute walk from the property or a short taxi ride if required, check in was easy. The property also felt very secluded and safe. The town overall is lovely and has a beautiful beach just around the corner. We had such a good time we looked at booking it again for next year but unsurprisingly, it is booked out.

My only twos gripes are that they weren't enough towels supplied considering they are needed for the pool and for showering. Our kids spent hours in the pool at a time and despite the good weather and the washing line on the terrace, I struggled to get them dried in time for the next pool session or shower. There is a washing machine so I washed and dried overnight so there were clean towels for the next morning but throughout the day drying was difficult. Also the cooking aspect was a bit challenging. The oven is very small in comparison to the size of the property and the amount of people it can accommodate. There were no oven trays anywhere and no oven gloves or tea towels for removing the only oven proof dish in the property so considering we were a party of 11 which consisted of 5 adults and 6 children, this made cooking a bit trickier. There is a great barbecue in the back garden though so this can be used but it definitely needs a few extra items in the kitchen. These were my only two negative points from our whole stay, we really had such a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the villa.

The pool, garden, roof terrace views and location were fantastic. We loved being able to walk to restaurants, supermarkets and the beach. Any staff that we had dealings with were very friendly.

The 5th bedroom was very odd with a fold out bed and broken blinds. You have to make the beds on arrival and our bedspread was stained. The upstairs bathroom had an issue with the toilet flush that we kept fixing. Ideally you’d have a dining area that catered for 10 people, and a reception room with seating for 10. We were surprised to see gardeners turn up unannounced and they put chemicals in the pool; we weren’t given guidance on when it was safe to go back in. The stairs to the top roof terrace are scary, perhaps even dangerous. More could be made of this area as the views are fantastic. Better stairs and a few benches would be brilliant.
