Beautiful house and terrific and helpful owner! Our only regret is that we had to rush in and out of town so were not able to stay and enjoy everything longer. We hope to have the chance to come back soon!

Beautiful house, well stocked, and in a great location on a beautiful lake. Highly recommend. Was great being able to rent their boat and not have to deal with picking up/dropping off a marina.

Cathy is a terrific host! Communication was clear and prompt. We rented her pontoon boat as well for the week. We had a great time at the house. Extremely well organized with labels on everything made it even easier to stay there. We did get our exercise going up and down to the dock but then it was all with it. Would love to come back with some friends for a future stay!

we loved our stay! - Cathy was very easy to communicate with and the whole check-in/out was a breeze. - the house is definitely private to its neighbors and the views from every angle were fantastic. seeing the water from the loft and porches was awesome for morning coffee. - there was ample room to cook, eat, and lounge. - I personally enjoyed taking the kayak into the calmer waters to the right every day, and we generally enjoyed all the floaties and the double-decker dock. - would highly recommend renting the pontoon along with it—we took it out every day to the various little beaches, we tubed, and saw a very nice sunset on the open water. - my only "ehh" note: while it's gorgeous and comfortable, the loft bedroom is not private, noise-wise. sounds from above the bedroom and bathroom definitely carry into the main room. may be a non-issue for some groups!

We are sending our oldest to Clemson and decided to take a week at lake Keowee to spend our "last" vacation and get to know the area a little better before she left. Lake Keowee is isolated, a little less than an hour from Greenville. But wow. The home is incredibly clean, well laid out and has everything you need. The open floor plan and large table were perfect for game night. A fantastic grill with a smartly placed ring toss made grilling the nights meal a fun family event. The beds were comfortable, the baths modern and clean. Our other daughter is a high school junior, but the set up with the room with two beds and an entire seating area on the bottom floor would be perfect for those bringing younger kids that could have thier own "area" while adults hung out upstairs. The best part for us was the upper deck porch that was among the foliage of the trees. One could look between the red and white oaks, walnuts, and see down on the lake. It was just an incredible place to begin the day with coffee and end with cabernet. But as great as the house was, lake Keowee stole the show. I highly suggest renting the boat if you are competent. The boat was the gateway to all the beaches, the waterfalls, and the house fantasizing! Lake Keowee is a gem. I think this is a great value and we truly had a great vacation. Cathy is an excellent communicator, even to the point of labeling just about everything so there is no confusion :). Two thumbs up, 5 stars, etc!

Everything about our time in this home was absolutely perfect! The hosts have thought of everything, and have it readily available to use. They are super responsive and very helpful. The home itself is beautiful, and the location on the lake is perfect. Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed every moment here and we are already talking about returning next summer. Thank you for giving us a vacation we will never forget!

Absolutely LOVED this vacation! This home is better than the pictures (which you can't say about some places) The quality of the furnishings and the finishes are excellent! The home was very clean, so spacious, well stocked with everything! This Lake was so peaceful, clean, clear, and quiet that you couldn't ask for a better spot tucked into a quiet cove! Cathy was Amazing! answers almost immediately and since everything is labeled in the house there, you really don't have to reach out for questions. We had our twin 13 yo daughters and my 15 yo nephew along with my sister and her husband. The 7 of us were very comfortable and had everything we needed to really enjoy the lake!. Thank you!!

The house and lake view were even better than advertised! We were two couples and a teenager and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and have privacy. I loved that each bedroom had a dedicated bathroom, each with a beautiful walk-in shower. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, dishes, glasses, and serving platters. We cooked all but one night. The main level kitchen, living, and dining area with large table and comfortable chairs and wonderful views from the large windows and sliders made it a perfect place to enjoy meals. My favorite was sitting on the main deck in the morning with coffee! The downstairs table was perfect for playing games in the evening. The house and decks were very clean and inviting. There are several grocery stores within 15 to 20 minutes from the house, and we enjoyed dinner at the Lighthouse, just a few minutes away. It was a pleasure interacting with the owner and we look forward to coming back.

Awesome property!! We loved it so much we are looking for something nearby!! We celebrated 2 birthdays, attended 2 weddings and had a bit of a family reunion. We came from NY, VA and GA to SC for what was the best week ever!!!

This is a lovely property that is beautifully appointed in every way — room layout, pretty decor, nice linens, kitchen with a lot of cooking/serving/storage items. The view and the lot are pretty, and the two decks are delightful to sit on. The boat was pristine and ran well. Keowee is a gorgeous look with mountain views and gorgeous homes to admire.

Beautiful lake home with everything you could possibly need. The views are amazing and the house offers lots of privacy.. Layout was especially great for a family with teens and college students! Multiple entertainment areas and a fantastic kitchen.

We had a wonderful time and our Kathy was an excellent host. The water is so clean and clear in the lake the kids loved jumping in. Vangelis bistro was a great restaurant in town .

This was our family’s second stay at this property and it was just as nice as we remembered. It has a fabulous view and we loved spending time out on the porches and by the fireplace outside. Everything from the comfy beds to the well stocked kitchen made this a fabulous family getaway. We will definitely be back!

Perfect house and location for a fall weekend on Lake Keowee. Our family of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids) enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It was a quick ride to the Clemson stadium on game day. Very peaceful part of the lake. Cathy was quick to respond to any questions that we had. Absolutely the most organized VRBO that we have ever stayed in!

We so enjoyed staying in your house. It is beautiful, so well done. . We loved the multiple decks. The kitchen is well appointed and a joy to prepare and have meals there. We loved the dock and pontoon boat. We can’t wait to come back!!

The owners have thought of absolutely everything! Everything is so well appointed that we felt like we were at a luxury resort. You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful , peaceful, and relaxing location. Cathy was always very responsive anytime I had a question throughout the process. We would definitely go back again!

This was by far the best rental property we have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful, perfect quiet spot on the lake, but also close to the restaurants. We loved being able to rent their boat and have access to kayaks and paddlebaord. We also rented a jet ski from Cam at Endless Adventures (also a great experience.) The thing that set this rental above and beyond all the rest was the attention to detail and the extra effort the owners put into making your stay perfect. Everything was labeled so you weren’t looking forever for things, even all of the light switches. The kitchen was well stocked and the fridge even had travel size coffee creamers. Shampoo in all of the showers. A black washcloth in each bathroom for makeup removal. Bins for dirty/wet clothes. The cutest little toothbrush holders in every bathroom, plenty of lake towels. I could go on and on. It was a perfect vacation in every way. Cathy was wonderful and responsive throughout the entire process. We will definitely return! You will LOVE this house.

We had different family members come and go. Everyone enjoyed the house and lake! The porches are one of the best features. You are literally in the trees. It does make for a hike to the lake and back but it was worth it.

This was our third visit to this wonderful home and we are already looking to schedule our stay for next year. Thanks for everything.

We had a very relaxing family reunion at your house. The house was beautiful and very spacious. We were very pleased with our entire experience, and would love to come back.

My wife and I have rented beautiful lake homes on multiple lakes in North Carolina to include Fontana, Nantahala and Santeetlah. This beautiful property on Lake Keowee is our new favorite. There are a number of reasons for this. First, the communication with the owner was incredible. Always timely in their response and thorough in addressing any questions I had. Absolutely delightful people. Second, this Lake is spectacular. Beautifully clear water and 22 miles long with spectacular properties along the shore line. There are several casual restaurants that we were able to access via the pontoon boat that is available for rental from the owners. The boat is meticulously kept. The boat made an already great property SPECTACULAR. We saw every inch of the lake. Our grandkids were thrilled with us being able to pull them behind the boat on a great raft. The dock is fantastic and the waters are very deep so swimming was an everyday thing that everyone loved. Kayaks and wakeboard were available and used alot by our kids and grandkids. Although the walk from the house to the dock is a bit steep, it is made a comfortable assent and decent by a well laid out walkway. Parking is much better at this property than we normally have at Lake front properties. We comfortably had 2 SUV's and a full size truck parked directly outside of the front door. We are so excited about having found this property. It will be our first choice every year. JT-Deland Florida

From the booking process last summer through the check out experience after our wonderful stay, this lake house was an excellent choice for our family. We couldn't have asked for better communication and clearer information from our host, Cathy. The house is tastefully furnished, and the lovely natural wood interiors add to the experience of being on a lakefront in the trees. The two-story deck was especially appealing, and we enjoyed kayaking and paddleboarding. In addition, we rented the owners' pontoon boat, which is a luxe edition and comfortably held all 8 of us, three generations. The kitchen is very spacious and well outfitted; we cooked every night and found everything we needed. All beds are comfortable, lake towels are provided, and bathrooms are very spacious and clean. Highly recommend this house for its location, lake views and multiple outdoor seating areas, and lots of special touches for guests to be comfortable and feel welcome. This was the nicest lake house we've stayed in!

The house was extremely clean and we were left with a thoughtful gift upon arrival. The house is stocked with everything you need and Cathy was extremely communicative with us. We are familiar with both Keowee and Hartwell, so we can attest to the slope to the lake, and the stairs from the house to the dock are easy to navigate. (We had a 3yo and a 67yo with us and neither one had issues with the stairs.) Due to the heat of the sun, the stairs, dock, and upper level of the dock do get very hot so make sure you bring water shoes or sandals to wear down there. We really enjoyed the house’s upper porch which we hung out on for the majority of our stay. The sleeping arrangements and beds were very comfortable. The loft bedroom does get bright early in the morning and due to the openness it can be noisy so if you are sensitive to light/sound you may want to take a different room. Our crew raved about the bathrooms and how nicely designed they were. The location of the house is excellent as it’s just off the main lake and halfway to either end. We brought our boat that we tied up to the dock for the week and were able to quickly get to the Lighthouse restaurant and the waterfall. Overall, the house is absolutely beautiful and Cathy & Gary did a wonderful job thinking through every little detail. Thank you for a wonderful week with our family!
