Lovely new modern property , decorated nicely. Clean and a really comfy bed . Lovely high ceilings with patio doors that opened to the car park Good location with lots of restaurants and coffee shops close by Easy to gain access via the keyless method . Great quick response from the host

I thought I read it had parking and the reviews said it was easy to park but I had to park at the station a few minutes away and pay which added to the 4 night expense . There was a car park and it was empty the whole time which was annoying . You can hear the trains but you get used to them . The bathroom door doesn’t close !

Beside a busy & noisy train junction that made it difficult to sleep at night. Trains ran thru the night so we could not leave the windows open. Our visit was in spring but during summer, the need to keep the windows open would be challenging. The apartment itself was in ok condition but there was a broken fan, and chest of drawers. The interior of building itself lacked charm and a little run down.

The location was fairly good. close to the railway and city centre

We got there at 3pm and the beds were not made. We had to call the agent and they finally tracked the housekeeper. It was a very unpleasant stay with very poor heating system. We had a tiny little portable heater which could do nothing.We spent the first night in a miserably cold room(temperature was -2degrees outside) The customer service showed up the next day and fiddled with the heater switch but it never worked. She left us with a small portable heater to complement the tiny one . We wanted to make a cup of tea and we discovered the kettle was faulty. We had to look for a little pot to boil water. Customer service brought another kettle on the second day . All these put us off and we certainly had a very uncomfortable stay. We had to even make a compulsory 250pounds deposit which we did not know about before making the booking.

Location was great, near train station, so we could reach easily to London. It was clean and comfy. The check-in was online.

The check in was online and whad to complete same data for check-in, guarantee, as in Booking also.. Maybe this can be done in one step?

The property was clean

I asked for twin beds in both rooms as we were four individuals however they had set it up as a twin and a double bed. I had to buy some bedding as they did not provide any additional bedding. when I separated the beds I noticed that one of the beds was ripped and the springs were sticking out. the beds are obviously supposed to zip together however they were placed in a way that the ripped side of the which didn’t have the zip was in the middle of the 2 single beds. I asked the host if they would please provide additional bedding however they said that because I hadn’t completed the guest registration form on it time that it was too late. They would not allow access to the property until I had paid a £250 deposit and there were issues gaining access. I was supporting a disabled young person who has difficulties with communication and understanding. As a result of the delay in gaining access, he had an accident and soiled himself. This was not a great start to our holiday. the apartment is very basic and has cheap fixtures and fittings. The heavy curtains kept falling off the flimsy curtain rail and it could potentially and easily fall off and I dare say they would deduct this from the security deposit. it’s in a residential building where people are permanently living and I dare say this must be annoying for the residents who live there to have holiday guests on a regular basis as one of the neighbours explained.
