Fully updated in 2024 kitchen and bathrooms Walking Distance off Beach and from exciting pools centrally located 12min to downtown St Joseph MI Cozy Lake House Cabin is the perfect spot to spend your vacations with family and friends. The resort is spread on 36 acres directly on lake Michigan with private beach, fishing pond, 2 swimming pools, wading pool for kids, shuffleboard, basketball, horseshoes, tennis. The Chalet on the lake has everything. Each Chalet is outfitted with 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bath and can accommodate 8 guests+. The 2 bedrooms each have a queen bed and a single sized bunk beds. Bunk beds have a 150lb weight limit. Also main floor sofa folds out providing full size bed . The main bath on the first level has a shower. This Cozy Lake House Cabin also has a screened in porch and a gas and charcoal grill. The Chalet have pools, playgrounds throughout so the adults and kids can enjoy endless hours of fun outdoors. Cozy Lake House Cabin is located in Stevensville, Michigan on Lake Michigan with plenty of activities in town . Spend the day charter fishing or playing golf at Harbor Shores golf course which is home to the senior PGA golf tournament. Chalet on the lake is perfect for anytime of the year. Come, relax, and enjoy everything that Pure Michigan has to offer!

This is our second time staying at the chalet and we’ll definitely be back for a third visit. Perfect location. Wonderful resort with lots of amenities.

This cabin was just the right size to fit our family and our older kids loved the air hockey table in the lower level. The cabin was in a gated community, which gave it extra security, and had 2 pools and a play ground, which was nice for some of the cooler mornings and evenings. The property manager was prompt to respond prior to our arrival and there were not any issues while we were on property. This was the perfect place and size for our first vacation up to lake Michigan.

We enjoyed this chalet immensely. The lake access and converted garage (game room) were the highlights. The kitchen is a little dated and the bedrooms are a bit cramped, but we had everything we needed and the overall property was a bit nicer than we were expecting.

We loved our time here for the second year in a row. Basement converted into a game room is a big hit with the kids! Love the resort itself with two pools, a fishing pond, and it’s own private beach. Would love if kitchen had a few more cooking utensils/pans!

This was our first time visiting Lake Michigan and we all agreed we need to come back and we would absolutely stay here again!
The communication was great, the Chalet was clean with a fully stocked kitchen, beautiful bathroom, fully stocked with pool/beach needs, an awesome rec/game room in the lower level and a washer/dryer!
The private beach was wonderful.
My husband loved the grilling options provided.
My only recommendations:
-having extra blankets on site. We even brought a few of our own but could have used some more on site.
-maybe a hose outside to wash the sand off before coming inside?
Overall an amazing vacation and wonderful place to stay! I would highly recommend.

Loved the option of swimming in one of two pools or enjoying the beach. All are walkable from the Chalet. The chalet literally has everything you need available. The location is close to several towns so no shortage of food or entertainment options for when you want a change of scenery. The host Chris was easy to reach and was wonderful. Lots of families with younger kids staying at the surrounding rentals. Would definitely rent again !

The chalet was great for our family of 5. It was clean and had everything we needed! We loved the amenities - pool, playground and beach were all perfect for our kids!

This property was perfect for a family get together. The unit was exactly as described, very clean, comfortable and had all of the amenities needed for a fun vacation. The converted garage was an excellent bonus. It gave us room to spread out. The two new pools at the facility were wonderful. We took full advantage of the playgrounds, fishing pond, tennis court and both beaches.

Great family friendly place!
Property was clean and tidy- has space for 8 to sleep including the pull out futon in the garage that’s been converted into a game room. Biggest complaint is only 4 bath towels were provided with space for 8 to sleep, and property backs to a road and is furthest from beach. Will definitely plan to come back! We had a blast!

We enjoyed this cabin and the area. Saint Joseph is a quaint town, the property the house is on has 2 pools, tennis courts and beach access. It was a nice weekend get away!

The property was nice and clean with an updated bathroom. It’s a little walk to beautiful Lake Michigan. The chalet had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay. The staircase leading to the chalet needs to be redone. I was worried when going up and down with my infant. Also, quilts on each bed would be nice too.
The shared pool at property was small and outdated, but it looks like they’re building another. I would definitely stay again. Can’t beat the easy access and views of Lake MI.

The staircase leading to the chalet needs to be redone. I was worried when going up and down with my infant. Also, quilts on each bed would be nice too.
The shared pool at property was small and outdated, but it looks like they’re building another. I would definitely stay again. Can’t beat the easy access and views of Lake MI.

We had 3 adults and 4 kids ages 3-8 on this trip. The location is great, you can walk or drive to 2 beaches. The private beach is smaller and way less crowded with lots of pretty rocks. The public beach is a bit bigger and less rocky with more people. There is a decent playground and tennis courts with rackets and balls. The chalet itself is nice. Maybe needs a little tlc but the bathroom has been updated. Extra blankets, towels, toilet paper, and dish soap would have been nice to have as well as some info on the area like attractions and restaurants.

I would’ve liked to have a map of the property with information before we got there (beach location, parking, etc.).
I also like to have recommendations on local attractions, restaurants, etc when we go somewhere new. Overall GREAT and highly recommend for families.

Property was perfect for 4 adults and a 3 year old. Playground for the little one, pool, private beach... Definitely would return.
Only complaint has nothing to do with Chris (whom we rented from) but one day they didn't get the pool opened until 1pm when it should have been open at 10am. Like I said though, not Chris's fault.

Great place
We did a brewery tour in the area and the VRBO location was a great place to stay. The coast is just a short walk away and we were able to see an epic sunset too.

Overall experience was good. Rated 3 stars for cleanliness only based on the number of ladybugs and a couple stinkbugs found in living spaces.
Location is great, just a short walt to the private beach and plenty to keep kids entertained outdoors.
The only shortfalls (and I overlooked these while booking) were no washer/dryer on property - considering this is a beach house (almost) and no dishwasher. These definitely come in handy when you travel with kids and stay more than a night, especially by the beach.

We had a great time at this property. The house was clean and comfortable. The property has a great location near the lake with beach access. Also close to the Warren Dunes and Grand Mere state parks.
