Originally a farmhouse built in 1936, this beautiful home has an enormous backyard and plenty of room for activities. The beautiful stone fireplace, wet bar, and game table make the living room a wonderful place to gather and entertain in. The kitchen (complete with kitchen island) provides a seamless transition between cooking and hosting. Need a break from the action? A separate sitting room is at the opposite end of the first floor and even offers a workspace ideal for remote work. Upstairs, you'll find the majority of the bedrooms and the luxurious main bathroom, which features a jetted tub, double sinks, gas fireplace, and a private balcony. There is no shortage of outdoor spots to enjoy where you can grill on the large wrap-around deck or enjoy the front porch swing after a day of adventure on the lake or in the parks! Just sit back, relax, and gaze out to the seasonal mountain tree line. The rural setting of this home is part of its charm as you can relax in quiet seclusion and still be less than two miles from all the action. Within minutes, you can be at the Wisp Ski Resort which offers year-round activities, and Lodestone and Fantasy Valley golf courses. Fantasy Valley was named one of the top 100 courses to play in the mid-Atlantic. Guests don't have to travel far to enjoy delicious local food from restaurants like Mountain State Brewing Co. and Moonshadow. Whether it’s hiking, kayaking, skiing, park exploration, golf, shopping, or any of the many other recreational activities the Deep Creek Lake area offers, you can easily access them and then return to the pastoral environment that surrounds this charming house. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Please check local listings to ensure the availability of mountain activities. Guests should be aware that this home does not have air conditioning. There is a whole house fan located upstairs and ceiling fans in every room except in the dining room and kitchen. Bedding, comforters, and quilts may not be provided at this time. Please be sure to bring your own blankets if you need them. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The huge deck and private yard was nice for kids to play and run around. The No A/C wasn’t a problem the windows open and fans running really cooled it off at night. There were fans in every room. The large open living room and dining room was great for game nights. Location is close to everything!! I would definitely return.

Overall it was a great place to stay. The only issue was the door lock batteries died and we got locked out an hour before the I was suppose to be at the wedding. It took about a half hour for them to come fix the lock. Everything else was great.

Quaint and beautiful house with gorgeous views. The house was very clean and true to pictures. The only downfall, and I wouldn’t consider it really a downfall but they did not have basic seasonings to cook like salt and pepper. And the cable tv was spotty. But other than that beautiful house, perfect for a weekend getaway and close to the lake, Wisp and other activities. All within a 5 minute drive. Perfect!!!

Absolutely loved our stay! It was a last minute getaway and had no trouble booking. The wrap around porch and balconies were awesome. The upstairs spa bathroom was amazingly beautiful and relaxing. The house was well stocked with dishes and cookware which made cooking a breeze. Would definitely book this place again. It was a perfect trip!

What a great place for a ski weekend! This house is super cozy with plenty of room, comfy beds, a huge bathroom including a steam shower, and a great location for skiing at Wisp only a couple of miles easy drive away.

Rented this property for a buddies bachelor party. A great amount of space for 7 guys. Had everything we needed including a ton of extra towels, TP, trash bags etc. The location is extremely close to everything and it's only about 5 min from wisp. 10/10 and would highly recommend and would definitely rent again.

Overall we were very happy with Amazing Grace. I do wish they had better cooking knives and it did not have big enough cooking pots. Plenty of silverware, china etc for our family. I might suggest a new stove since that one was a little jenky. I also wish the sauna in the upstairs bathoom had more specific instructions as they were burned out and we were unable to read them and I also wish you had told us to bring chairs for outdoor seating. Overall though our expereience was good.
