About this house rental
A lakefront gem that is perfect for couples, small families/groups. Meticulously restored cabin located next to and including access to two adjoining vacant lots for additional privacy.150' of lake frontage means you'll have true privacy, the way lakefront living should be! Fun for all seasons with many amenities and activities within minutes - local restaurants, bars, waterpark, ski resorts and golf courses. Plenty of places to relax, including three private docks, a large hammock, two fire pits, or a large covered deck overlooking the lake. Property includes space for outdoor games and access to kayaks, stand up paddle board and large inner tubes for the summer season. Or warm up by the large stone fireplace on cool or winter evenings. Enjoy dinner inside by our wine cork wall, or outside overlooking the lake. Amenities include new memory foam mattresses in both bedrooms, central AC and a new kitchen and bathrooms in 2019. Please note that linens and bath towels are not provided, guests can arrange to rent them ahead of time if they do not want to bring their own (delivery or pickup available) from Kerry Clean located in town. Just know the house is high on a hill and it could be a challenge for some people to get down and back from the lake

It was marvelous! The cabin was lovely and very clean...I had worried about spiders but there were none. The floating bed was wonderful and with a lovely view of the lake. We all had a delightful time and we are planning to come again.

Overall, the property was a great location, convenient to restaurants, stores, etc. Beds very comfortable. TV, internet access great. Views beautiful. Bathrooms a bit small. We enjoyed our stay.

I have stayed in a lot of lake houses - it's a summer tradition for my family. This was the best one I have stayed in! The house was small but a perfect size for my family of five. It had a rustic log cabin charm while also having all the amenities and excellent wi-fi (this is important if you're traveling with teenagers). The deck was fenced in perfectly so our dog could safely survey the immense domain of the lakefront, the true star of this property. It was HUGE! Three docks! We used one to swim from (it had a nice stepladder to the non-rocky part), one to get on the provided kayaks from, and one to sit and sip coffee and watch the boats on the lake. It has a wild and private feel. I know there's a resort nearby, but this has to be better. It had everything we needed (except, of course, sheets and towels, but that is easily planned for). The hill to the lake is quite steep, so do be aware if you have any mobility issues. But the many climbs we took up and down were well worth if. The home is comfortable, the lake incredible. This home is a true gem and we loved it.

Despite the cold weather and the smoke from Canadian fires, we had a lovely time at the Cabernet Cabin. All the amenities you could think of were inside the cabin, and to utilize on the lake. The cabin is close to many restaurants and other conveniences. Jason was very responsive. My only complaint is that the cabin was not clean (to my standards) inside or on the porch and property. I think this was from the guests prior and Jason assured me that the cleaning crew usually does great, but it was very disappointing to pick up other people’s trash and deep clean the house before we could get comfortable. With all of that, I truly think the location and lot is unbeatable.

We had a lovely experience at this family (and pet) friendly cabin by the lake! The kitchen and bathrooms were very well equipped with modern appliances and bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. We used the fire pit each night during our stay and enjoyed the lovely view by the lake. The one thing we missed noticing before booking was that linens/towels were not provided. The host recommended us a local service for us to use (so we were all good!) but would have preferred this service to be included in the overall stay cost. Host was super nice and very responsive to all our questions. Would definitely go back!

This was the perfect spot for our Fall vacation - the views of the lake were magnificient, the property is well maintained and had it's own beautiful scenery with all the trees changing colors. Communication with the host was efficient and responses were very quick. As someone else mentioned, this property would be difficult with someone that has mobility issues or needs assistance walking either with a cane/walker. The property slopes towards the lake, it's very steep in some spots, but I would let that put you off - we felt like we had our own compound! Everything we needed - supplies, food, gas - was within 5-10 minutes. It's someplace we are hoping to come back to again!

This cabin owner thought of everything to make his guests comfortable. The character & decor were superb! The kitchen included everything you’d want. There are 3 fire pit areas with a couple of docks. My husband fished & caught 3 perch. The bed was very comfortable, & the place was very clean. The owner was very responsive. We’ll be back again to visit!

Cozy cottage with wonderful views of the lake. Property was clean, quiet and well maintained. It had all accessories for a lake stay-kayaks, docks, lawn chairs, fire pit, etc. I would stay here again. The only downside is that this property would not be for anyone with mobility issues .

Our family of 4 (and dog) had a great time again at our stay this year at this incredible property. The cabin was spotless, the tech amenities are top-notch, and the lakefront access is awesome! Jason made the process easy and had great communication with us. It does not get any better at the Poconos and we are already looking forward to our stay next summer.

Wonderful 4th of July at Lake Harmony
We had a wonderful stay at Cabernet Cabin! The house was just as described and very well stocked with everything we needed for a long holiday weekend. Attention to detail is everywhere with wonderful, detailed instructions and communication from the host. The outside space is the real magic of the house though with a large porch and access to three different seating areas by or near the lake with firepits and ample seating which allowed us to enjoy the lake throughout our visit. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience and definitely hope to return!

Great stay!
Perfect location in Lake Harmony. Cute cabin on large property right on the lake with lots of room for us to play (firepit, kayaks, big deck with grill and darts, located close to trails and ski slopes, etc.). Great fun for our grown family with two dogs!

Family Getaway
We decided to book Cabernet Cabin for it's beauty and location for our family of 5 (and our 2 small dogs) to get away for the holiday. Extremely happy with everything about our trip. The cabin was easy to find, had all the amenities needed, was central to activities we wanted to do, and Jason was very pleasant and responsive during our entire process. Would definitely like to book the cabin again in the future.

Best Getaway at the Lakehouse
My husband and I needed a few days together to relax and spend some quiet time and the lake house was the perfect spot. The house had everything and more. Also the most cozy feel to relax and unwind. The view was breathtaking ! Hope to do it again soon.

Great fall getaway
We used this VRBO as a home base for our Poconos elopement and it was absolutely perfect. The cabin and grounds were beautiful. We had a wonderful time and the house had everything we could need for the weekend. We hope to return in the future.

First let me start by saying, as we came close to the property I was already in love with the area passing restaurants and a ice cream parlor and seeing the beautiful lake on the right side of us I immediately said do you think our place is on this Lake??? There it was a adorable cabin with views to die for!!!! We had a wonderful time cabin had everything you would possibly need and more. Would highly recommend it was perfect. Just kept saying it’s so beautiful here every time we stepped outside.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Lake Harmony. The rental was so comfortable, clean, and the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing get away. Loved the rustic cabin feel, but also the many modern updates which enhanced our family’s comfort.

Pocono perfection on the lake!
We had an incredible family summer vacation in this amazing lake house. House is exceptional mix of modern amenities and rustic log cabin, best of both worlds. Exceptional lakefront property, with multiple docks across the large amount of lake frontage and layout of property provides plenty of privacy. Outdoor deck is has covered area and uncovered area with a great grill. High-quality outdoor furniture really allows for relaxing outdoor dining and great view of the lake. Excellent communication and information provided by Jason ensured everything went smoothly. Can't say enough good things about the property!

The cabin was just as it appeared online. Kitchen had everything I needed to create meals. Newer appliances were very nice. We were a family of 5 (all over 18) and the space was perfect. The cabin has a very cozy feel and the living room and master led right out to the partially covered deck where we ate most of our dinners with a birds eye view if the lake and trees. There is also a nice sized Weber grill on the deck as well and plenty of seating. The adult kids really enjoyed the bed swing located under the deck, another awesome view from there. The property is steep so you will get a workout walking from the house to the firepits and docks. None of us brought appropriate shoes, we only had flip flops so something with a little more traction on the bottom would be ideal. Plenty of seats by the fire and on the docks. We had use of a paddle board and 2 kayaks and life jackets. There were also noodles available to use but not really any useable rafts so if you like that I suggest bringing. Overall this was a great place to stay, secluded which is unusual on Lake Harmony and also the size of the property is unusual for this area. It’s really a charming, beautiful place
