About this house rental
This is the perfect home for a multi-generation family vacation! This large home is situated on a private road, directly on the Nubble and across the street from the ocean. Enjoy the (partial) ocean views and only a 5-minute walk to Long Sands beach. Short Sands beach and the Nubble Lighthouse are both a 10-minute walk. When you are not at the beach you can enjoy your time outside on the 900 sq. ft. warp around deck. The ground floor has a garage to store your beach toys. The living area includes a den room with a TV and a table for playing games. This is a great place for the kids to get away and have a place to play. There is also a bedroom with 2 twin beds and en suite bathroom with a shower. The 2nd floor has an open kitchen with an island, granite countertops, a gas stove, and stainless-steel appliances. The kitchen opens to a 32 x 16' living room with access to the deck from either the kitchen or living room. The Master Bedroom is on this floor with a king bed, walk-in closet, and an en suite bathroom with a custom walk-in shower and soaking tub. There is also access to the deck from the master bedroom. The 3rd floor has an open area with 4 twin beds, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, and a common bathroom. All rooms have large spacious closets. Other great features include: Classic shingle-style beach house. Fully stocked kitchen paper goods supplied. Bed and bath sheets and towels provided. Hairdryers in each bathroom and make-up mirrors. 10 beach chairs, a large cooler, beach wagon, beach umbrella, and several boogie boards

We stayed for a week as a multi-generational family (ages 2 - 80+) - the house was great! Lots of room to spread out, a great fully fenced-in backyard + fire pit for s'mores, and fully stocked with anything and everything we needed for the beach! We were able to make the walk down to Long Sands and downtown no problem (5 & 8yr olds handled the walk just fine!). The house was clean and stocked from the kitchen to bathrooms and games. There was an internet outage during our stay due to some storms rolling through and the host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend the house, we would definitely consider staying again when we return to York!

Our stay was lovely! The place was clean and well equipped! The location is great, within walking distance to Long Sands, Short Sands and the arcade. Our family loved the chance to relax in the spacious house and cook in the well kept kitchen. The weather was great also!

We had *such* a wonderful time at this house. The hosts anticipated pretty much every possible need--it was the best stocked house we have ever come across. The location was superb, as it was close enough to everything for us to walk to the beaches, but also right off the main street so it never felt crazy. The deck was beyond compare and the outdoor space was perfect. We had a really rainy week and ages ranging from 3 to 81, which could create some very big problems when the beaches aren't available due to weather. But between the outdoor and indoor space, everyone was able to get both the family and alone time that they needed. Definitely 5 stars.

Seriously, we only needed our clothes. The house is appointed beautifully. We enjoyed the wrap around deck with plenty of seating and the stunning fire pit in the backyard during the evening. Walking to the beach was Easy Peasy, even with a 2 & 4 year old. We loved every second and our week flew by. Can’t wait to go back again next year!

Great Family Vacation
We loved our stay in York Maine. This house has a great location and was very well stocked with everything we needed. The owners thought of everything to give you the comfort of your own home whether you were traveling from somewhere near or far. Having access to the beach gear,coolers, wagon made for many enjoyable beach days.

Amazing week at a great house
We had an amazing week staying at this house. The house is exactly as listed and even better in person. The house was clean, beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Our group of 7 fit comfortably in the house, with room to spare. The large deck was such a nice extension of the house. We had many meals at the table on the deck. There was ample sitting areas for everyone too. We loved all the umbrellas to give a little shade from the sun while sitting out on the rocking chairs. The house has so many well thought out extras to make your stay easier. The beach wagon was so key to our daily trips to the beach. There were plenty of games to keep my kids occupied. We couldn’t have been happier with the house. The owners were easily reachable throughout the week.
The house is in a perfect location. It was a 7 minute walk to Long Sands Beach, a 10-15 minute walk to Short Sands Beach and my favorite, the Nubble Lighthouse was just up the road.
So glad we rented this house and we’re able to create so many amazing memories on our vacation.

The title says it. If you are looking for a cute town, close access to the beach, an excellent property for 3 families , this one fits the bill perfectly. If we came back to this town we will look it up again!

Great property, tons of amenities, super clean, wonderful location. Plenty of room for relaxing inside and out. Amazing deck and close to beaches. Easy to interact with owners who are very attentive and helpful. Two years in a row here.

Maine Summer Vacation
This home on the Nubble was perfect for our Maine vacation. Short walk to all that York Beach has to offer. Also close drive to Portland and Boston. Acadia is about 3.5 hours away, but worth the drive! Would love to come back!

We had a girls weekend with 10 of us in total and we were all blown away how gorgeous this house is! Super clean too!! Excellent location we were so close to the beach, Nubble lighthouse, and restaurants. We are already talking about having our next girls weekend there next year!

The owners were extremely responsive, organized and accommodating. Love these houses!
My family and I rented this house and the one next to it for a big family vacation. We LOVED the houses! They were outfitted well, with everything you need to enjoy your stay - just bring your clothes and groceries! Both houses also have ocean views and great outdoor space. We enjoyed grilling on the patio, and using the beach chairs to take to the beach. The houses also had coolers which was great! Only thing we felt would be a nice addition were bikes to use, and maybe cooking oil in the kitchen.
There were a few minor hiccups after checking in, but the owners were very quick to respond and took care of them immediately. We would definitely stay here again!

Spectacular location and beautiful house.
The owners are first class and do everything they can to ensure a wonderful experience. The house is just a few years old and has all the comforts you need, including top end appliances, TV, air conditioning and spectacular ocean views. Short walk to the beach. We have been going to Maine for 35 years and stayed in this house the last two years. We have already secured our week for the summer of 2019.

Ideal Vacation Property
The property was very well maintained and provided all the amenities of home. All the necessities and more were supplied to offer a stress free week. Directions for use of the property were greatly appreciated. The owner/manager was delightful to work with, and I would not hesitate to recommend the house to family and friends. The beach is perfect for children (and adults) with lots of room to build sand castles and play ball. Miniature golf in Wells, ice cream at Dunn's, lobster rolls at Fox's, more lobster rolls at Nubb's, the local amusement park and zoo, and fishing were all experienced at least once!

Group had a wonderful experience during our stay at 6 Nubble. Home was very clean, had plenty of everything we needed (grill, large deck, cooking utensils, etc.). Would definitely book again and suggest to anyone else to do the same. Very satisfied.

Wonderful week in York!
Our family of nine had a wonderful week in York enjoying this great home. I loved having a kitchen that was properly stocked with dishes, glasses, mugs, cutlery etc.. The home was immaculate, nicely decorated, and everyone was comfortable.

Great getaway!
Nine of us gals went away for a March weekend and stayed at 8 Nubble. It was great!! The house was clean, well cared for and perfectly located. Great views! (So easy booking it as well! The owners' daughter Danielle was immediate in her responses to my many emails! I really appreciated that!) We stayed in our first night and enjoyed the open kitchen/living space area playing games, eating and drinking. The house is big enough for everyone to have her own privacy if need be. The second night we went to The Front Porch which was fun! We were all sad to leave Sun but will hopefully be back next year. Overall, a perfect stay weekend!

Perfect for our family
Six Nubble is a beautiful home. Very clean and well stocked with dishes, utensils, coffee maker, iron/board, outdoor chairs, beach chairs and more. It is move in ready. The wrap around deck is a wonderful place for family dinners or a happy hour with friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for our grand children to play and easy walk to the ocean. We ran out of gas for our gas grill and the owners had a new tank for us in less than 30 minutes!! My family would highly recommend this home for your vacation.

Amazing property
What an amazing family vacation! This home is immaculate and beautifully decorated with beach themes tastefully done in every room. We loved the deck and the master suite. Great set up for our 3 generation family. Danielle and her dad were great to work with. Don't hesitate renting this house!

Great vacation home!!!
We stayed in this house last week with our extended family. The house had everything that we needed. We loved the proximity to town, the playground, both beaches. Everything was a walk or bike ride away. We had small children with us and had no problem with the short walk to long sands. We would definitely rent this home again!

Great location on the Nubble!
Really enjoyed the house and location. 1/2 way to beach and 1/2 way to Nubble. The decks were great for our lobster bake and plenty of space for everyone to spread out!

Great Rental Home!!
We rented this house for a 50th birthday celebration for my college girlfriends! We felt right at home! It is exactly as pictured, big, clean, spacious, stylish and very well equipped with everything we needed! We pretty much stayed in the house our entire weekend with the exception of our nice long walks to the Nubble Lighthouse and beaches etc. There is so much to do in the York area - but we were having such a great time - in such a nice place we opted to stay"at home" all weekend! The owners were wonderful to deal with and we will go back again!

Spacious and open....beautiful home!
We recently spent a night at Home on the Nubble. The owner was super responsive and accommodating. The property was the perfect size for our group of twelve adults with an open kitchen/living area and a great wrap-around balcony overlooking the water. Everything was very clean and new. We were close to town and it was a really nice walk to the lighthouse. My only feedback is that it was difficult to find the address on Google Maps, so I would suggest providing the renters with clear directions once you get to Nubble Road. Thank you for accommodating our group....we look forward to returning!

We had an amazing time at your house. It has absolutely everything anyone could want or need for a great vacation. The views of the ocean and the proximity to the beach and Nubble lighthouse can not be beat. We loved and enjoyed every minute that we were there, we didn't want to leave.
