Nestled in Seaside, this charming house for R 13,022 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. 1 KING, 2 TWINS (can be configured as a second king), 1 QUEEN, BONUS BEDROOM W/2 TWINS AND DOUBLE BED - sleeps 10 Welcome to the charming and inviting, Whatcha Dune! This peaceful, family-friendly cottage is centrally located, next the Seaside Chapel and Ruskin Park, and sleeps 10! Equal distance to East and West pools, as well as the stunning beach-what's not to love?! Guests can arrive and park in private parking to spy this light blue, beach cottage, decked out with an open, furnished front porch, as well as a shaded, side and back yard, both featuring outdoor dining spaces! Step inside to this classic, beachy cottage, which offers a lovely open floor plan on the first level. To the left of entry, there is a fully equipped kitchen, with granite countertops and a breakfast bar seating four. A breakfast nook off to the side provides a corner nook for two perfect for morning coffee! The kitchen blends seamlessly with the adjacent dining area that has comfortable seating for 8 around a generous dining table. The living room has plenty of seating to accommodate both family and friends and is flanked by the large side open porch and a rear deck open porch as well. The large furnished side deck runs the length of the home with Adirondack seating. At the rear of the home off the living room is an open deck which runs the width of the living room for your outdoor grilling and enjoyment, while a full bathroom and plenty of storage rounds out the downstairs plan. The second floor features the three bedrooms all with private TVs and another large screened in furnished porch. The second floor includes a generous Master (king) bedroom with a full bath, a flat screen mounted TV, and opens onto a shaded screened in furnished porch. The second bedroom, a queen, features plenty of storage, a flat screen mounted TV, and shares a large double vanity Jack and Jill bathroom with the third bedroom. The queen bedroom also enjoys access to the screened porch. (third bedroom has crib in closet for use) The third bedroom features two twin beds (can be configured as king upon request), plenty of storage, and it's own private mounted flat screen TV and access to the shared Jack and Jill bathroom. The third-floor loft boasts two twin beds, a full bed, and a small sitting area with flat-screen TV offering a special getaway place for the kiddos. Two story porches run nearly the length of the home with the first-floor porch being open and the second level screened both providing the perfect place to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or afternoon glass of wine. This cottage has been greatly loved and is in excellent condition. Forest Street is a peaceful location, bookended by two community pools and framed with lots of green space. This was our second time staying at Whatcha Dune. The house is spacious, has plenty of sleeping space, and I knew it was the perfect fit for our family of 7. It sits a bit farter from the beach than almost any house in Seaside, but it backs up to a quiet wooded area and the outdoor living spaces are great. The added square footage and peaceful setting were the right tradeoff for our crew. The last stay in this particular house was about 6 or so years ago, and not much has changed. There is a ton of the owner's stuff all around the house and there is no storage in the third floor loft area. It seems like this has become a catchall for the things they don't want but don't want to purge. Especially in the kitchen, the clutter takes up the majority of the storage space. We were grateful for the basket of sand toys and the games inside for family fun nights! All in all, we'll definitely stay here again. We are HoCo loyalists, if that is a thing. The quality of homes is head and shoulders above the other management companies.

Great house in a great location in Seaside. Our family enjoyed staying here very much. The upstairs loft is great for young children as long as they can navigate stairs with ease. The upstairs screened in balcony was a great place to relax with good weather.

Wonderful week at Watcha Dune. It’s on the back/quieter side of town but still super close to everything. Only complaint is that with staying a week at the beach with children, washing clothes is a must, and the washer and dryer were the smallest possible.

We enjoyed our stay in Seaside and it was only enhanced by our stay in this lovely rental. The house had everything we needed and was close to the center of town, shops and the beach was a short walk away. The home is just as pictured and had everything we needed to vacation. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to eat several meals as a group at the table that seats 8! It was great to be able to spend time at the beach and take quick walks back (10 minutes or so) for breaks from the heat. I would definitely recommend this home and would definitely stay again.
