Away from busy roadways, quiet private drive and so serene you will not even know you are a few minutes from Geneva, NY and it’s fabulous restaurants........close to a number of wineries and breweries. A beautiful year round home located in the heart of the Finger Lakes wine country on Seneca Lake, Edgewood Beach, approximately one mile down a private lane way on the East shore of Seneca Lake! We are in the heart of wine and beer country with three wineries within four miles and a brewery just up the road called Bottomless Brewery and Ventosa Vineyards is just .09 miles away! Three Brothers Wineries is only 2 miles away! \We are located just 6 miles from Geneva, 30 miles from Watkins Glen, and 45 minutes to Rochester or Syracuse. With its amazing sunsets, relaxing atmosphere, located in the heart of the Finger Lakes, 'Taste of Serenity' is just the escape you are looking for!! Taste of Serenity is a privately owned and managed rental property. A cozy, spotless, well kept two bedroom home (2 queen beds), a fully equipped eat-in kitchen with new stove, new refrigerator, new microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, large island which seats four, and houses a washer and dryer. Dishes, pots, pans and more are provided, the bathroom includes a bathtub w/shower. Linens are provided, as well as bath towels. **Please bring your own beach towels.** The living room/dining room has a sofa, chair and entertainment center with a 50" smart TV and Wi-Fi on one end, and a beautiful oak dining room table to seat six on the other end. The enclosed porch overlooking the lake has a leather love seat sofa and chair on one end for reading or napping, and a table and chairs on the other end for eating or playing cards and games. Adirondack chairs and a picnic table, as well as two grills one gas and charcoal are available for your convenience to enjoy the beautiful views of Seneca Lake! BRAND NEW PRESSURE TREATED WOOD DECK, 180 sq ft.! Makes for a great spot to have morning coffee, lunch and dinner and a glass of wine with an INCREDIBLE VIEW!! The partially shaded 55 foot private beach is stocked with 5 plastic Adirondack chairs, three kayaks, a canoe, 12ft row boat, and a brand new permanent 98 ft. dock installed June 2021. Nearby marinas (2 miles) are available for boat rentals , docks or slips. Fire pit on beach! ****98x5 ft. long with a 15x15 deck on end of dock! Perfect for fishing, sunning, kayaking, paddle boarding, star watching, sunsets and more! The large backyard, 55 feet wide by 500 feet deep is perfect for yard games or a short walk to see rabbits and an occasional deer. Edgewood Beach is inter-connected to Kime Beach and Pastime Park Beach which is nice to walk or bike with little to no traffic. Outdoor ring cameras for security. This home checks all the boxes for a Finger Lakes vacaction. It was extremely clean, had a beautiful view and was in a great location. The home was cozy and had everything you need. Communication with the owners was seamless, helpful and pleasant. A great experience all around!

Had a wonderful stay on Seneca Lake. This was our first time in the area. This lakefront cottage was perfect for catching beautiful sunsets and also not too far from local attractions, including Watkins Glen State Park. We were not able to fully enjoy the outside areas at the cottage (patio, deck, dock, kayaks) due to weather. We did spend time outside and on the dock when we first arrived. The newer dock is large with plenty of space to sit and enjoy the lake and passing sailboats. The cottage had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Plenty of space to spread out, relax and read a good book. Cooked a few meals at the cottage, enjoying the lake view from the kitchen window. We would recommend this Seneca Lake cottage!

The cabin was clean and was just as advertised. Hosts were great with the check in procedure. Property is near wineries and some great resturants in Geneva. Would definitely come here again if by the fonger lakes again!!

You cannot beat the views from this property. We vacationed here to escape the traffic and noise of home! Exactly what we got. Being on the lake was so peaceful. Gorgeous sunsets. Unfortunately couldn’t use the kayaks water was a little too rough for my comfort but relaxing on the dock was great. Sitting on the deck with my coffee in the morning and just enjoying the view was perfect also.
Inside the home you will find everything you need. Paper towels, TP, sheets blankets etc…

This house is very clean, comfortable, and close to all of the restaurants in Geneva as well as nearby wineries. The air-conditioning worked really well, and the water pressure in the shower was good. Despite its location on the lake, we appreciated that there weren't any bugs in the house (not even flies), which is sometimes hard to come by. We loved the private dock and beautiful view. Communication with the hosts was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again. Thanks again!

The location is great, in a quiet development about a half mile off the main road. Medium bank, gorgeous, new dock, beautiful, outdoor eating area that is easily accessible off of the porch. We had a great time using this as our base to explore the finger lakes region And enjoyed breakfast and dinners here on the lake.

Wonderful week at the Finger Lakes. The lake house location is perfect with beautful views. The susets are amazing. Great communication with the owners who also provided information and recommendations of things to do in the area. My husband and I had an absolutely fabulous experience.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights. The location is close to Geneva, and many, many breweries and vineyards. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching the sunset.

We stayed while participating in the Musselman 70.3 Ironman. The race activities were easily accessible from the house. It was a perfect place to chill out before the race. The lake and sunsets were beautiful. It is a quiet neighborhood which allowed us to get to bed early for our early race start.

Quaint and cozy getaway. Very easy to communicate with Mary; she was always available with a reply. We didn’t know what to expect with Seneca Lake being that we are from out of state, so if you aren’t familiar I will say it’s a lot bigger than we anticipated (even despite our research). We had beautiful weather. The proximity to everything we needed or wanted to see was perfect. We aren’t wine-people and we still had a fantastic time.

House was perfectly quaint and met all of our needs for a weekend getaway at the Finger Lakes. The house is only minutes from Geneva, NY and close to many great wineries. Take time to rent a pontoon boat from Roy's Marina to capitalize on all that Seneca Lake has to offer. You will not be disappointed.

Great house on the lake. Kitchen fully equipped. Microwave didn’t work but all else great. Small problem with the internet. Couldn’t sign in. Dock is amazing as is the lake. Loved the kayak!!

This was the perfect house for our 20th anniversary trip to the Finger Lakes. The view is amazing. Sitting out on the pier with a bottle of wine watching the sun go down was very relaxing. The place was clean and well stocked. The communication from the owners was fantastic. We had no problems with our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very close to down town Geneva as well as many great wineries. We were sad to leave. Definitely recommend this to anyone visiting lake Seneca!

We had a wonderful time at this perfect little lake house. The views were amazing and all the outdoor seating made it so comfortable to be outside all day. The house may be small but it is very thoughtfully decorated, with comfortable and useful furniture. Every space is well utitilzed so the house feels a lot bigger than first expected. The sunroom was the perfect bonus space to enjoy the views from early morning to long past sunset. We sure hope to be back sometime!

We had a blast celebrating a girls' weekend! Mary and Bob's place was in the perfect location to check out all of the fun Lake Seneca has to offer. We fell in love with the view of the lake and their home was absolutely beautiful. We hope to stay here again some day!

Property is located in a very nice area close to numerous wineries, breweries, and restaurants (Geneva). The view of Seneca lake was outstanding and the outdoor areas at the property were especially well done and very comfortable. There appeared to be numerous updates both in the exterior and interior ( appliances etc) and everything was very clean. The inside is small and would have been somewhat more comfortable without so many countertop and tabletop decorations,. Overall it was a very positive experience and I would recommend highly.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The view of the sunset is amazing while listening to the water lap up on shore! Ahhhh! So relaxing. The house was fabulous with some great recent renovations and every little thing you could possible need was there for our use and convenience. Great attention to detail makes this house feel like a home! Can’t wait to return again!

All the comforts of home plus some!
My husband and I have always wanted to stay right on the Lake and this did not dissapoint. The view was amazing. Unfortunately we had rain every evening and could not enjoy watching the sunset outside.

What an incredible trip! We loved our house. It was darling and cozy on the inside, with the most spectacular view on the outside. We enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning and watched the sunset from the dock each evening. It was in a perfect location just about 10 minutes from Geneva and an easy drive to vineyards and attractions. The hosts were so gracious and kind. They were very helpful recommending restaurants and things to do. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends. A true hidden gem!!!!

This lake house was impeccable - perfect condition, and amazing location with beautiful sunsets and dark nights - we saw the K2 comet and many shooting stars, but still only 15 minutes to the bustling compact city of Geneva with world class restaurants and every store you could need. Swimming was wonderful as were the roadside self-serve farm stands and vineyards. The hosts could not have been more helpful and genuinely wanted to make sure that we had a great time - which we did. I cannot recommend this lake house more highly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and comfortable, as described. Loved outdoor deck space overlooking the lake. We enjoyed exploring the Finger Lakes area, it’s wineries, breweries, golf courses as well as biking around Keuka Lake. Local restaurants were also very good! Hope to return sometime!

Extremely Inconsiderate
The place smelled like mold/ musty, the beds, pillows and every piece of furniture were hard & extremely uncomfortable. The pictures show a nicely decorated place, but it is now crammed with dozens of knick knacks everywhere. The property owner posted a long list on the side of the refrigerator to read. My sisters read through half of it and it seemed to be all about caring for the boats. At the end it mentioned needing to strip the beds, empty the garbage, vacuum and close the windows. They did not read that part but they left the place picked up and tied up the garbage as to what they thought was courteous.
My sister is a clean freak and would have gladly done the rest of the tasks, but the owner rudely went off with a ton of texts to her (and myself, who could not go due to losing my father-in- law which she was aware of, but still texted all day complaining rudely and not accepting that they simply did not read the entire posting - instead she accused them of stealing a night light that she later found had been moved to the bathroom so they could see at night). I finally had to tell her I was done and remind her I was grieving. She would not accept an honest mistake and was completely inconsiderate and insulting. My sisters paid for the half hour of cleaning that needed to be done, as they were hardly there. I have never dealt with such a rude, hot headed, and inconsiderate person. She way over- reacted to the situation and hassled my sisters and myself all day. She may have had a lot going on her personal life - I pray for her.

Perfect quick getaway
We were looking for a relaxing getaway and Taste of Serenity was the prefect spot. The house was just as advertised…so adorably decorated, quiet, cozy and clean. The back porch area was my favorite morning spot for drinking my coffee and reading my book while viewing the lake. My husband enjoyed fishing off the dock. The outside area was also so perfect for eating, relaxing, visiting and card playing. The owner, Mary, was very attentive and helpful with recommending attractions in the area. We visited some of the breweries and wineries close by. We enjoyed our time here so much!

The cottage is comfortable and well maintained. The location is great, with a spectacular view. Mary was very prompt in responding to any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again.
