Great property
This property is amazing. There was plenty of room for all of our guests. The kitchen was fully stocked with wine glasses, dishes, utensils, coffee, spices, trash bags, etc. I was surprised how much was provided for a short stay vacation home. A lot of other rentals you are required to bring some of these things. The master bath was exceptional including a straightener, blow dryer, makeup remover wipes, qtips and more. They thought of every detail down to the fresh flowers in most rooms. There were plenty of towels provided for showers and the pool. The pool area is very relaxing and perfect for a group to hang out. Janice was a good property manager and very informative during our stay. It’s close to Wineries and restaurants. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a group of 5 couples stay at this fantastic property. Janice met us at the property and gave us a detailed tour of the property and all of its amenities. The property is very roomy for a large group and is really first class. Each couple had their own room. Glen Ellen is a great spot to stay for wine country visits as you can see places there, but you are not too far from Russian River Valley wineries, Sebastopol, etc. and a reasonable drive to Napa. Cannot say enough good things about the place, but also the communication, follow-up, restaurant suggestions, and service that Janice provided us. We all agreed that we want to stay there again!

We spent 5 days at the property as our base while exploring Napa and Sonoma Valleys with our adult kids and their spouses who came in from around the country. The property was better than advertised, beautiful, clean and spacious.
Janice was an excellent hostess, informative and very responsive. She went out of her way to help secure “lost luggage” that was being delivered to the residence while we were out visiting wineries.
I would highly recommend this property !

A wonderful stay. We were greeted by their property manager who was responsive, kind, professional and clearly took good care of this home. Fresh cut flowers were throughout the house and everything was clean and orderly.
The pool, which is where we spent most of our days, was lovely.
The biggest issue we had is that we were told on listing, by email, and then a third time confirmed by text that the video cameras on property would be turned off except the driveway and front stairs. The cameras were, in fact, left on and recording via Nest (solid green light) including at the pool. A camera on home mgmt system was listed as “kids room” too, which was a bit disturbing. We notified property manager and she apologized and turned off most of them (the front door camera was still left on in addition to stairs and driveway).
Items I wish I had paid more attention to were:
- two of the bedrooms share a hallway bathroom. The sound travels in the house and bedrooms are quite closet so a sound machine would be recommended.
- no plastic wine glasses in pool area (easy fix)

Whether you're going with family or friends, this is an amazing property. Pictures don't do it justice and the property manager, Janice, is incredibly thoughtful and responsive. I prefer staying at hotels but for a large group, this is the closest thing you'll get to a hotel without being in one.
Janice meets you at the property, gives you a tour and walks you through how the different appliances / locks work. There were multiple vases of fresh flowers in different rooms, bathrooms were fully stocked with bath towels, hand towels, face towels, toiletries, make-up remover, etc. Big fluffy bath robes in each room/closet.
Dishwasher wasn't functioning properly while we were there (they had recently gotten it serviced) so we contacted Janice. She responded immediately and throughout all hours of the day. Janice sent a cleaner to the house to wash all the dishes while we were out, and the cleaner ended up tidying up all the rooms while he/she was there. There were plenty of dishware, cups, and glasses so it was fine and the issue was resolved very quickly. We were only there for 3 nights so I was very pleasantly surprised at communication and resolution turnaround time.
Property is private (on a lot of land) and secure (gated house). Only small suggestion is to keep the house stocked with coffee ground. Would absolutely come back and highly recommend!

Amazing Birthday Celebration
We are a group of eight friends that had the pleasure of staying at this amazing rental to celebrate a special milestone birthday. The home was simply spectacular and Janice was the perfect property manager. We were fortunate enough to spend many hours laughing and making memories in the most comfortable way all the while enjoying beautiful views throughout the home. Thank you kindly for the opportunity……we are already planning our return!!!

A group of friends and I stayed at the lovely Sonoma Valley Retreat over New Years weekend and we couldn't be happier with our stay.
Janice was a pleasure to work with, was extremely communicative and provided plenty of recommendations for our stay. She met our group upon check-in to give us a walk through and to make sure we knew where everything was. She also made sure to check in with the group when the temperatures dropped to make sure there were no issues with the pipes. One of our friends left behind something and Janice was fantastic about coordinating getting the item mailed back -- fantastic property management all around!
As for the house, the pictures don't do it justice. The house is at least twice, if not three times bigger than the pictures make it seem. There was more than enough space to have 8 adults spread out in the main house. We enjoyed a private chef meal in the well stocked kitchen and enjoyed walking around the property during the day. The location is fantastic if you want to do some wine tasting and enjoy the restaurants and markets in Glen Ellen. We'd love to come back in the summer and enjoy the pool!

Truly spectacular property.
Verges on being a family “compound.”
The unfolding of days from coffee at sunrise on the veranda to yoga under the shade of a tree to much, much more, it’s just a fabulous place. The design and finishes are current. Thoughtful attention is paid toward maintenance. Janice is a terrific, responsive host. Though we enjoyed it near Thanksgiving and loved the fall weather and colors, we can imagine that this place is fabulous year round. Given that the property is so awesome, our family will focus this post on sharing some tips on how to enjoy a great stay in the area.
Foosball in the Poolhouse - there is a championship in the making here.
Glen Ellen Village Market - build a group basket with your party online the week prior, then pull into the dedicated pick-up parking spot and pull up the app. Then, chill as you pop your trunk and await goodies.
Sonoma Market - order the charcuterie and cheese board ahead of time; the medium will last a party of six adults four days. You’re welcome.
Cycling - bring your bikes (and fluorescent jackets) and consider one of many loops around Lawndale (say hello to the goats and pigs!) & up Hood Mountain (go hiking here for vertical).
Trione-Annadel State Park - you can walk, drive or cycle through vineyards to the Lawndale Trailhead.
Circuit Training - gather your crew by the pool at dawn and establish a tabata workout circle; then, go enjoy an egg scramble with any leftover wagyu zabuton from that starry restaurant in Glen Ellen, sliced thin into local organic eggs from the village market along with the leftover burrata and beans with breadcrumbs from the southwest corner of Sonoma Square.
Lasseter Winery - plan ahead and get a tasting reservation. Quirky approach via a schoolyard, then a lovely experience.
Glen Ellen Star - plan ahead and get a dinner reservation.
Sonoma Botanical Garden - quiet, peaceful, close by.
El Molino Central - consider picking up a few different half-dozen options (esp. anything with mole sauce, etc.) on your way up for dinner your first night, along with ceviche, guacamole, chips, etc.
Harvey’s Gourmet Donuts - find them on Sonoma Square on weekends.
Sonoma Square Food Tour - there are two providers; be sure to pre-qualify the destinations with the guide in order to align the tour with the tastes and preferred settings of your party. Here again, book in advance to enjoy your guide’s first choice destinations.
Enjoy!

Great house and amenities
Beautiful house and property. Everything you need for a luxury trip to wine country. Plenty of space and great house/kitchen for a private chef. Pool house added an extra space to spread out and enjoy the outside. Highly recommended!

The home, grounds and all of the accoutrements are ideal for a large group looking for a flawless stay in Sonoma Valley. Janice the property manager clearly takes pride in assuring that every detail is provided for your vacation regardless of your plans and takes the time to introduce you to the home. We used her recommendations for a chef prepared meal, winery tour and transportation which did not disappoint. Although we were at the home during the “Bomb Cyclone” in October and despite receiving almost a year’s worth of rain in 24 hours, we were cozy and entertained by all of the amenities. Janice is a gracious host who is ready to go the extra mile for her guests. 10 out of 10. We look forward to returning in the future.

Amazing property in Sonoma
We absolutely loved this property. We have stayed in several VRBO homes around the globe and this is our favorite! The furnishings and decor were gorgeous and comfy. The pool and fire pit were super fun. The kitchen was perfectly stocked for larger groups. The pool house had extra space for sleeping and was equipped with plastic ware, fridge and dishwasher. The property is large and remote and so a perfect place to unwind. There were plenty of towels and bathroom amenities. We can't wait to return to this property in the future!

The house is fabulous and so are the grounds and landscape. The house is newly remodeled and in perfect condition. It's extremely well stocked with all the amenities: blender, drip coffee maker, Nespresso , milk frother, hair dryers, hair iron, etc. In the main house, 3 of the 4 bedrooms have private decks. The main bedroom has a giant bathroom with a beautiful tub and a very luxurious bidet toilet! The kitchen is full stocked for all your dining needs. There are also items like salt, pepper, some spices, oil. The Glen Ellen Village Market is just a quick drive and has a very good selection of food, wine and spirits for you to stock up.There is another kitchen in the pool house which is also stocked with dishes and glasses. Plus a full bathroom/shower and an outdoor shower. The pool is amazing and is very large with built in seats on each end of the pool. Also there are 8 lounge chairs with umbrellas when you need shade. There is a lovely outdoor dining table that is protected from the sun. Depending on the time of the year, there are some bee's that are attracted to the food f you do eat at the outdoor table. There is a plum tree which had a ton of ripe fruit during our stay at the end of SeptemberJanice, the property manager, is super helpful and provides you with information on how things work like the Nest, Gas Fireplace, Outdoor firepit, Pool cover. She is also available for questions and answers texts immediately (we had a few questions during our stay). She also gave us some tomatoes and herbs from her garden which was so nice. There is a 5 car max rule (per the fire dept) but if you have an additional vehicle, Janice opened up a spot at her house to park it, which is a short drive from the house. You will not be disappointed with this property!

We had high expectations for this place after reviewing the pictures and it did not disappoint. Very clean, plenty of space, and every little detail thought of. The pool setup alone was awesome. Very close to vineyards and downtown Glen Ellen. The check in/orientation process was a little tedious but otherwise a fantastic stay.

What more could you ask for on your vacation?
From the drive up to the home through the end of our three day stay, everything at this property was beyond spectacular. Janice, the house manager, was so helpful not only about the property, but also about the area and activities available. Very specific and clear instructions were at our fingertips at the house and the check in and check out process was a breeze. The property is stunning, with a wonderful large pool, pool house, hot tub , studio cottage, and a beautifully designed 4 bedroom house. The grounds have been recently redone and are absolutely stunning!

Great stay in Sonoma
We had a wonderful stay. The communication and personal touches were fantastic. The house has all of the amenities needed for a family retreat or group get together. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed and we enjoyed eating dinner out by the pool at the family-style dining table. Situated 10-20 minutes from many restaurants, wineries, and hikes.
