The is house was perfect for our needs with a great layout and location.

The house is huge and accommodates up to 12 very comfortably. Bathroom layout required some coordination for the group, but the large heated (hot!) pool was a welcome surprise for the winter. Owner was responsive and helpful. Great location near a coffee shop and at the start of a large strip of Magazine St shops, bars and restaurants.

We had a perfect stay! The house is HUGE, the kitchen is well appointed, and the beautiful pool was even heated! The house has a lot of New Orleans charm in a fun neighborhood. This is a great house for a group… we were there for a birthday celebration and all of us had plenty of space. If you rent this, just make sure everyone is ok with stairs because there are a lot of them! :)

This property was lovely and just perfect for our group of 9 family members - mostly young adults - in town for a birthday celebration. The layout of the house is a little unusual but totally understandable for a house of this age and style. Just one bathroom downstairs and it’s the only option for the folks staying in the downstairs bedroom, but that wasn’t a big deal. The cool character of the house and all the amenities more than made up for it. There was plenty of space for us all to gather, and the pool and pool table were a big hit! The location just off Magazine is terrific - so many great food and restaurants within walking distance or a short Uber ride. Mojo Coffee just a few steps from the front door was key! We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Fabulous pool. We used it every day. Great location. Plenty of room for all 9 of us. Wonderful home and experience for us all.

Great house. On the edge of not a nice neighborhood. Leaving front door great if go to the right. One block down to the left not so much.

We had a wonderful stay for our 20th wedding anniversary. The home was the perfect setting for friends and family to join us. The coffee maker was MIA, as soon as we contacted the property owner we had a new one in 15 minutes. A few more towels would be nice since there is a pool. Great property only minutes from the French quarter but the peace and quiet of the Garden district. There is also a wonderful coffee shop at the corner within 2 minute walking distance. We would love to stay here again!

The house was a perfect place to stay for a 6 person retreat weekend. It was better than the photos and we found everything we needed there. Great location with close shopping and great neighborhood restaurants.

The house is beautiful with a lot of space. Upgraded comforts, but still has the historic features of the house and was in a great location for walking to different areas of NOLA. We did not take the streetcar but there was a stop within a few blocks. The kids enjoyed playing pool each evening. The weather was extremely hot so we did enjoy having the pool at the end of our full days of touring. My only suggestion would be to add a table by the pool for hanging outside in the evenings. All in all it was a great place and the family enjoyed it.

Our stay was lovely. The house is beautiful and lives really well. My only recs are the property needs more bath towels, some pool towels and patio furniture for pool time and meals.

This house is in an excellent location! Short walk to many shops and restaurants as well as the streetcar line. There is plenty of on street parking. We really appreciated having the pool for the hot New Orleans summer. The beds were clean and comfortable. We had a very pleasant stay.

The photos dont do the house justice. 6 of us stayed here while working in NOLA. House is about 5k square feet and tons of privacy. Backyard has high fences/walls. Someone came to clean the pool which was great. I would absolutely rent this house again.

We spent a lot of time in the pool and just loved the property.
Pros
-AC works very well all over home
-Pool is private and can heat up if you want.
-Home is spacious and beautiful.
-Home is 3 blocks away from streetcar which made getting around easy with the Le Pass app
Cons
-Would have been nice to have separate / larger pool towels
-Ice maker in central island doesn't work or we could have used instruction on how to get it up and running.
-A small investment in 2 more chef pans and basic spices for cabinet would be awesome!
Pro Tips
-Walgreens on St. Charles and is just about the closest place for quick shopping.
-Breaux Mart at 3233 Magazine is an awesome grocery store!
-Street Cars run about every 1/2 hour. A trip all the way down to Audubon Park / Tulane s not to be missed!
-Everything in The St.Vincent Hotel at the end of the block is incredible, especially "Chapel Bar"
-The Bower is just a few blocks down, nice bar and great food.
-Best bar we found was Tracey's Original Irish Channel Bar, Reggie the bartender is awesome!

What a great way to spend some time in New Orleans! The house was beautiful. This was the perfect home for me and my group of girlfriends for our trip. It’s located in a great part of town and a quick drive to the quarter! The house was very clean and organized. The rooms were comfortable, and we loved the large kitchen! We definitely recommend this home to others seeking a trip to NOLA!

We had a wonderful stay— my husband turned 60 and we celebrated with his older siblings and our adult children. There was plenty of room for everyone and the neighborhood is close to Magazine Street and many bars and restaurants.

Best Rental Ever!
I stayed here with a group of gals to celebrate my bachelorette.
The rental was thoughtfully decorated and it was obvious the property had been lovingly cared for. It exceeded my already high expectations!
It was also the most perfect location just a block from magazine st. We all felt safe and had an amazing time!

Amazing home in great location
We stayed here in April for a week during our kids spring break. We loved the house. It is quite large, and feels very authentic to New Orleans with just the right upgrades. Location was amazing, our kids loved the pool. Def recommend and would stay again.

This is a spacious home that we found to be conveniently located for the outings we chose to make. There is a playground two blocks away, the trolley stop is an 8 minute walk, and a short drive gets you to Riverwalk and other parts of New Orleans. The kitchen has all the basic cookware you’ll need as well as an espresso machine. The house is well stocked with items such as toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent pods, and basic toiletries. The owner, Michael, is responsive to any needs you may have. There is no heating in the front part of the house, so if you go during the cooler months, be sure to pack slippers and reach out to Michael for space heaters!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Let me start off by saying this is a really old house located in New Orleans. If you have never stayed in NOLA than keep in mind what expectations you have. As far at this house it was perfect for us. It was clean, location great, the pool provided entertainment when we were not out and about. We were able to walk to the garden district to shop and eat. The street car was just a few blocks over and we took that to Canal st to walk down bourbon. Be aware pick pockets and scammers are everywhere. We felt safe here with our small kiddos but it’s always good to note in such a large old city.

If you plan to visit NO when the temp dips don’t stay here! Absolutely NO HEAT on the first floor! After multiple attempts at contacting the host his answer was to close the interior doors...did nothing! Dishes were left in the dishwasher and towels/sheets in the dryer. Old food in the fridge, pots dirty in the kitchen. Sheets appeared clean but the comforters were obviously not. House was very drafty, interior doors didn’t close, outlets not working and bathrooms need updating. The stairs are hazardous for older people. I understand the age of the house comes with issues but then don’t charge these prices. Totally not worth the money!!!
