The check in process was very easy, and the property manager was always available via text message for questions, which I really appreciated. The neighborhood was described as quiet, mostly because there are only 3 residence buildings on the block; the rest of the buildings were abandoned and/or closed businesses. The rental was very clean for the most part; there was quite a bit of mildew staining in the bathroom, and my son’s allergies were acting up, likely due to dust/moisture from being in the basement of the building. The thing that was lacking was the furniture. The couch was quite old and well-worn, the mattresses on the beds were tilted downward toward the headboards making it feel like I was upside down. There were no full length mirrors or other places in the space where one person could get ready while the sole bathroom was occupied. Also, the noise level was difficult for us to get used to. The vinyl flooring was very loud, even with bare feet, both in our unit and the one upstairs from us. The upstairs tenant walked back and forth across our ceiling all night long, and the sound seemed to be amplified by the acoustics. They did provide sound machines in each of the bedrooms, which helped some, but not quite enough to prevent us from waking up to the walking above us.

The only issue i had personally was finding the trash dumpster even with instruction, but we didnt stay long enoigh to make enough trash for it to be a defining issue. Overall, great place, great location, great amenities.

Me and my sons stayed a few days and everything was great. It was nice to have free street parking. I cooked each night so it was good to have a nice kitchen (There are no pans though…just pots). Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean.

We enjoyed our stay. The listing was as described. Found the beds were very firm. The dryer was making a loud noise so may need to check. Overall would highly recommend your home. Thank-you for sharing your home.

Property was a little smaller than I expected. But overall it was great for the price. I'm one of those people that when I travel I just need a place to lay my head. I'm not going to camp out and spend all my time at the place I'm sleeping. I'm out all day adventuring and then I come back and just want to clean place to sleep. And this got that covered.

We stayed at this property before in the upstairs unit and loved it. The location is great, in a safe community that is close to downtown and the Wash U area. This unit is downstairs in the same building, but the location is where the similarity ended. First and foremost, our door code stopped working on our second night and we were stranded outside for 30 mins at midnight. It took awhile to get a response from anyone who could help us. The unit was not nearly as well maintained as the upstairs one. There were light bulbs missing, and many of the power outlets did not work, including that for the tv. I asked the property manager, and when their suggestion didn’t work, they had nothing else to offer us. The only sofa in the main room had no back cushions, so we ended up leaning just on the frame. The walls were extremely thin, especially the roof, so every single step by the tenants above was like an earthquake. The shower curtain in the bathroom also smelled. We still paid a lot for this unit and were not happy at all.
