About this house rental
Situated in Wilmington, this lovely house for R 8,657 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Summary: Situated in a secluded wooded area , this property is located only one mile from Whiteface Mountain and the famous AuSable River. The home offers guests 3500 sq ft with a traditional Adirondack style, with many rustic elements incorporated into a contemporary design. These include features such as an open floor plan with 30 foot cathedral ceilings in the living room and in-floor radiant heating, wood burning fireplace, granite counter tops, hardwood flooring, and log railings. The Space: The main floor will offer ample space with a living room, dining room, kitchen and a 2 bedrooms. The 2nd floor offers a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The basement provides a 4th bedroom with a bunk bed and queen bed and an additional full bathroom. Enjoy a full size billiards table, ping pong table along with a Microsoft Xbox for entertainment. The backyard offers a 6 person hot tub along with a fire pit and separate seating area. Guest Access: The entire home and the property with 2 exclusions: 1. The mechanical room located in the basement by the Adirondack table. The door is locked and monitored by a security camera from the inside of the mechanical room. This is to ensure that guests do not tamper with the hot water tank, boiler, electric system, and supplies used by the cleaning agency. Any unlawful entry into this room will automatically revoke your stay at the property. 2. There is 1 closet located between the main floor bathroom and the 2nd bedroom that is locked for use by the cleaning agency. The Neighborhood: Wilmington is home to the highest peak slope that you can ski on in the North East. It is also the 5th highest mountain in NY State standing at 4,865 ft above sea level. There are over 46 mountains that have an elevation above 4000 ft. for those who have a passion for hiking. The beauty of the Adirondacks offers year round outdoor adventures for those who love to cycle, hike, fish, and ski. The Au Sable National Scenic River stretches 23-miles offering brown, rainbow, and brook trout. There are numerous nearby lakes and rivers (such as Saranac river and Taylor Pond) that offer landlocked salmon, lake trout, splake, bass, pike, walleye, perch, and sunfish. Lake Placid is our neighboring town that is home to the Olympic center and many local restaurants along with 2 lakes that offer motorized and non motorized sports during the summer. Other Things to Note: 1. Price advertised per night allows up to 12 guests. Each additional guest will be charged at $50 per night per guest. 2. Holiday weeks require minimum of a 6 night stay and Summer weeks require a minimum of a 5 night stay. 3. Any unauthorized parties that may cause damage to the property or interruption to neighbors caused by noise pollution will incur additional fees deducted from the security deposit. 4. Any odor inside the home (including the garage) of smoking cessation products such as nicotine, vape, THC, Marijuana will incur additional fees deducted from the security deposit. 5. A $500 refundable security deposit must be collected within 72 hours of the booking. 6. Do not move any furniture inside the home. 7. Do no remove or take any of the items located inside the home. The home is inspected after each use. A replacement fee and labor charges will be assessed towards missing items and will be deducted from your security deposit. Perfect house and location for 3 families to enjoy skiing at Whiteface and activities in the Adirondacks. The house is spacious, clean and full of amenities. Great communication with the host. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in Wilmington! We were looking for a spot tucked in the woods, away from town and this was perfect. We had a few issues once there but the maintenance team was there in minutes when we needed them. Overall, a beautiful spot that we will certainly revisit!

Beautiful property with a lot to offer with an accommodating and responsive property owner. We came here to celebrate our upcoming wedding with our friends and this place gave us exactly what we are looking for. This place has multiple large tables for group meals and an excellent fire pit and hot tub. I would definitely check this place out again on our next trip to the area.

What an amazing experience it was staying at Pine ridge with family and friends. The house had everything you needed and more to keep everyone comfortable and entertained. Beautiful scenery around the entire area with countless outdoor activities to enjoy with everyone. We all enjoyed every moment we were there and will definitely book again if the owner will have us back.

A group of 12 stayed comfortably. Three families with enough space. Kids enjoyed the basement with games. The rental is just as listed and one of the nicest we've found. Communication with owner was great. Easy to travel to Lake Placid but try to do it all in one day. It's very crowded and you need to pay to park. Wilmington and getting to lifts early is important. Two minute drive & I walked there once.

It was quiet and comfortable and so close to all of the local attractions we wanted to see. Gary responded to the couple of questions we had within minutes and was very helpful. We would highly recommend this rental if you have a large family, (we comfortably slept 11 but there’s plenty of room for more people!) love the outdoors and just want to get away. It’s located within minutes of High Falls Gorge and Flume Falls and within a half an hour to White Face Mountain and downtown Lake Placid. We would most definitely stay again if we ever get the chance to visit this little piece of heaven in upstate New York. Thanks Gary!

Family weekend
This was a beautiful property that accommodate our family of 17 with children from 6 to 18 and we played games, had a fire, cooked dinner watched movies and just enjoyed each other. Thank you !

Gary was so responsive and answered any questions right away. The home is comfortable and hs everything you need and more. We just found our yearly rental!

We loved everything about our stay here! The house was exactly what we wanted- large enough to house 3 families of 4 (5 oldest kids slept in basement BR, youngest in parent's room), and close to all of the things we wanted to do (Lake Placid/Mirror Lake, Ausable Chasm, Whiteface, to name a few!). We are already planning for next year!

We prefer staying in Wilmington which is close to Whiteface Mountain and short drive to Mirror Lake. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and we loved the giant dining room table which could easily seat 14 people. We appreciated that all the light switches were labeled and kitchen had staple items like flour, sugar, salt, olive oil etc. We stayed during the summer and we’re surprised there was no air conditioning. With the windows opened at night we were comfortable. We’ll definitely come back in the winter for a ski trip.

We loved everything about our stay here! This is not your typical home. The attention to detail is absolutely amazing. The kitchen has everything you need. We had a party of 10. Every couple had there own private space. During the day we took the River trail hike from the backyard to a beautiful waterfall and river that you can swim in. Lake Placid is a short drive with plenty of options for lunch or dinner. In the evening we enjoyed having dinner in the Florida room and marshmallows by the fire pit. Will definitely be back again.
