The host was exceptional. Jorge went out of his way to improve our short stay.

We did not have hot water.

We only needed accommodation for one night. The two apartments were very clean and quiet. We were very happy

The location is great, not walking distance form the beach though. It's very quiet and safe.

The toilet didn't flush one time.

Near to Jaco and Herradura facilities

No security at night

Jorge- proprietor of the property was very helpful and accommodating. The property was in a gated area, made us feel more secure from random people coming on the property.

The property was being updated, they were working to make it more welcoming. The back porch of our room was blocked off, but still had a door with no handle. We would have been more comforting feeling if it had a handle and a better lock.

The apartment felt very new and clean. The host was friendly and helpful. The apartment was a newer, upscale typical Tico place. Nice kitchenette. Good fans and AC!

At the price point, you won't likely find a better place than Apartamentos Herradura apart 5 in Herradura. Is it luxury? No. A pool? No. It is exactly as advertised and perfect for an inexpensive stay in an otherwise expensive town. It offers all the basic amenities.
