We were met by Loyda, a very nice lady, who dropped the bomb that This is a building without an elevator. This is not mentioned in the listing, which is super important. Carrying up luggage was the pits. Prior to booking, I had asked if there was parking. They told me street parking. However the city of Hoboken does not allow overnight parking. This meant that the rental car needed to be parked somewhere else. I literally had to park 14 minutes away and Uber it to the condo. And lastly, this building is located just across the street from government low income housing. It is the only two block radius that feels unsafe. No one had given me the address until practically the day before rental. That’s a shame because the building itself is nice and the unit itself is nice but not for the price that I paid. If you don’t have a car, and don’t mind being on the outskirts of a gentrified neighborhood, then go ahead and rent here. It is very comfortable. The listing just needs to be much more clear.

Although the property is lovely, in a gentrifying neighborhood, VERY MUCH is left to be desired. While the owner claims it is meticulously cleaned, maybe they need lessons in cleanliness. There was considerable dust and dirt under the dressers, in the corners, and on rugs; hair left in bathroom and on one of the bedspreads; no tissues in the whole house; 1/4 roll toilet paper in each bathroom, but no refills; no paper towels, no napkins, no dish towels, 2 hand towels for the entire house; 2, yes a paltry 2 towels racks for an ostensibly outfitted house for 8; DO NOT USE THE SHOWER CURTAIN ROD FOR THE MISSING TOWELS RACKS, IT FELL OFF FROM THE WEIGHT SINCE IT IS ONLY A TENSION ROD; both bathrooms featured loose and unusable hand towel racks and toilet paper holders, both so loose on the wall that they fell off; no soap dishes in either bathroom; no mirrors in any bedroom; no tea kettle; very nice to have a bathtub, BUT, IT DOESN'T SEAL SINCE THE PLUMBER MIS-INSTALLED IT! In effect, an expenditure of $100-$200 by DeeDee and her apartments manager would have made this a very desirable place to stay, but I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT DUE TO THE MYRIAD OF MINOR ANNOYANCES THAT BUILT UP TO A MAJOR COMPLAINT AND AN UNENJOYABLE STAY!

It was our first family trip to NYC. The one thing that made this trip enjoyable was the accommodation. The condo was very clean. Check in process was a breeze. Deedee made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Our family does quite a bit of traveling and we always used VRBO to book our accommodations. This is by far one of the best places we’ve stayed at. Definitely recommend and will use this condo again on our next trip to NYC!

This was a nice & airy apartment in the middle of Hoboken. Very Spacious. It was a bit of a struggle to park. It is a four flight walk up. The area was safe, although it is across the street from a project. We were concerned at first, but it was a non-issue. There is good food within walking distance & it is super easy to get into NYC. The check in process was annoying. The person who checked us in took a picture of my credit card. Since I used this service to book I don’t know why that was necessary. VRBO is there to keep us both safe & I ended up feeling unsafe about giving my credit card to a young kid who rode up on a bike to check us in. Overall, the experience was good. We needed more space than a place in the city could offer, so this Hoboken place was great for that.
