My wife and I gathered here with our great friends to celebrate Thanksgiving. The house and accommodations could not have been better. Excellent views of the Lake, ample space for a large gathering, well stocked kitchen for cooking and overall comfort give this a 5 star review. It genuinely felt like home for the few days we were there.

My family and my Sister In Laws family shared this house for a fun getaway. We loved the location. Pickleball was an added bonus. We were a little surprised by the level of cleanliness. We found a vape under the bed when we pulled the trundle bed out for our children to sleep. My niece stepped on a piece of glass in the carpet on the stairs. Other than these things, the house had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at this perfectly sited lakefront property. The view was so beautiful, we could have sat on the decks (three of them!) all day. The layout of the house is good and maximizes the views. Lots of outdoor space and easy dock access for boating, swimming, and sitting. Check-in was very efficient and the owners were instantly responsive throughout our visit. House was well equipped and in good working order. Hot tub worked well. Small request -- a toaster would be nice. Would most definitely stay here again. House would work well for two families but was also a great size for a couple. Don't think you could find a better location on the lake.

Our family gathered from New Mexico, Florida and Maryland to celebrate our sister's 70th birthday. We enjoyed great hikes, horseback riding, boating, and wonderful restaurants. The house was amazing and we so appreciated the ping pong, pickle ball and horseshoes to have fun with. Would return in a heartbeat.

We had a fabulous stay. The house was clean and beautiful. There were plenty of comfortable beds for everyone! We loved view and felt super lucky to be right on the water. The kids enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and fishing right off the dock. I highly recommend.

Cute house. Great loft area and decks!! Great views. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working. Liked the open area in the living space. Little hard to use the fire pit area. Overall quite enjoyable!

We finally had the opportunity to get together with friends that are really the family we chose. The House was perfect for the kids to bunk together and be their amazing silly selves while the adults reconnected. We all enjoyed the views of the lake in the morning and hot tub in the evening. The House was perfect for laughs, memories and all the love. And the hosts were so very kind and accommodating.

This is our second time staying at the property, and it has been a wonderful experience both times. Suha and Dave are so kind to work with and very easy to reach via text. The home is well kept with beautiful views. Our family always enjoys the hot tub and the fireplace, and the kids absolutely love the upstairs bedroom with the bunk beds. The home is only a short drive from the Wisp resort and other local attractions. I would highly recommend this home for your Deep Creek getaway!

We loved the lake house. Very clean very comfortable and had all the amenities one would need. The communication with the owner David Boswell was was very good. He communicated with instruction and asked if we needed anything . We were there to go skiing but everyone enjoyed just being at the house . Thank you for sharing your lake house. Hope to go back again.

I grew up on Deep Creek Lake and was looking for a cottage that brought back all the great memories for our family's Thanksgiving. The Boswell cottage did not disappoint. From the moment we arrive, we enjoyed the great views of the lake. The accommodations were perfect in every way with open spaces to gather for games, cooking and dining. The bedrooms were very nice with great views of the lake. We enjoyed the hot tub during the early morning hours as we watched the sun and mist rise from the lake. It was obvious the entire place had been updated both inside and out recently. Knowing Deep Creek Lake so well, I knew this would be the perfect location for easy and quick access to everything Deep Creek Lake has to offer. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for others. The owner was very responsive and friendly. Thank you Boswell family for allowing us to relive our memories and to make wonderful news ones.

Everything about this property is as advertised, in fact, even better. The place itself was clean, up to date, and well appointed. In our case, it was just my wife and me on a four day get away, but the home will comfortably accommodate at least three adult couples and children.
The views from the decks couldn't be better, the hot tub was spotless and invigorating, the fireplace made the living room a great place to relax (not to mention the large picture window facing the lake), and it even has its own pier for those inclined to fish.
The location is ideal, just minutes from dining and other activities.
The owners made check-in super easy, and were quick to respond when I needed additional info.
Go ahead, rent this home with confidence. You won't be disappointed.

The place has everything you need, the dock, the deck, the close proximity to food (arrowhead/traders coffee) and boat rental.. The management/owner has provided a plethora of towels, pillows and beddings, and pretty well stocked... Dave was very responsive of any questions... and we enjoyed our stay!

Location was great, right on the lake and close to restaurants/things to do. Kids loved swimming off the dock and the bunk room was great for them to have their own space.

Owner was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. If you are going in winter, be very cautious if the deck is icy (not a criticism of the property, just a word of warning for future guests). Overall lovely stay.

Wonderful Lakehouse Retreat
The Boswell lakehouse was a fantastic little getaway! The views are stunning, the property was clean and well-kept, and the hosts were very easy to communicate with when needed. Our kids really enjoyed the bunk bedroom and the little loft space above one of the bedrooms, and the adults enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub or by the fireplace in the evenings. There was plenty of room for our group of 10, and it was only a short drive from shopping and the Wisp resort. We would love to return in the future.

The weather was dreary and wet but our stay was wonderful. The home was cozy yet roomy. There were games and a beautiful view of the lake and lots of things to keep us happy while staying dry and warm.
We would most definitely choose this home for any future Deep Creek vacations.
