Love the house but there was so much that was not up to even minimal standards. First of all, there was no working elevator as advertised. That was primarily why I chose this particular place since some of my family was not able to do stairs due to health reasons. I learned that Tidelife had known all summer that a part was on back order. They did not give me the courtesy of a call prior to arrival to give me the opportunity to make alternate plans. Also, I never would have expected the house to not be clean since the cleaning fee was $500 (sticky dinning room table, streaked TV and countertops, filthy stove and oven, sand, dried food and debris on the floors and rugs, glass door completely covered with fingerprint smudges, mold and mildew in the tiled master shower, floors not mopped etc. Made me sick to my stomach. On the plus side, they did send someone to carry my luggage upstairs and do a quick clean. But even at that, we spent our trip cleaning too! It was totally unacceptable regardless of any restitutions offered.
My Bucket List trip was a disaster!

This was our 52nd year coming to Pawleys with our family. We had stayed at By Grace for three years when it was a Lachicotte rental. This was our first year with Tidelife. Over all we had a wonderful experience in this beautiful house by the sea. There is nothing better than having your entire family group ( my sister and me ) around you for an entire week. We have many friend in the Pawleys area and having them visit with us is a big plus. We are definitely looking forward to next year.

The open downstairs is great for family time. The elevator is a key option as it allows my parents to travel with us. The location is perfect with water on both sides and a nice dock. We will likely be back next year.
Tidelife does a wonderful job as well. We had an issue with plumbing and we called in the morning and it was fixed by lunch. They were very responsive throughout the entire process.
I wish the back screened porch was a little larger, but it works well. That being my only suggestion this is a great house and we had a wonderful time.

House has potential with good beach access and cool dock on tidal creek - but from moment we checked in things went from bad to worse. House was not clean, dishes in cabinets were dirty and clothes were left. The refrigerator did not cool and could not freeze ice. 2 up stairs bathrooms leaked when used and cause water/sewage, we are not sure which, to drip into kitchen countertop and floor. Dishwasher top shelf was broken and the out door metal chairs were rusted through and a hazard which could result in cuts and infections. All reported to property management Tidelife - but zero follow up from them on status of fixes. They did send people out to look at the problems - but never contacted us during our stay. Not worth the price paid for the experience. Will never stay there again.

WHAT A HOUSE!
This property was absolutely stunning. Very clean, the property was huge and very well placed between two bodies of water. To be able to walk out on the back porch and be on the sand in 20 steps was life changing. What a great home. Will definitely stay again!
