Pros: The unit was very clean. The location is perfect for easy access to the beach and restaurants in town. The manager was responsive to texts and emails during our stay. We had dogs with us and there is a grassy area for them to relieve themselves. The pool area is small but clean.
Cons: The kitchen does not have very many utensils, pots/pans and kitchenware for cooking. Just be aware of the that going in. The bed in the master was not super comfortable on night one because the rails in the middle had fallen to the floor. My husband and I fixed it and it was much better for the remainder of the stay. But just be aware if you book, you may need to fix it or reach out to the property manager.

Online review and pics looked great! Few things I overlooked but for sake of nearby staycation I went with it. Listing states Pets Welcome with FREE below it. But there is a pet deposit. When I brought to their attention, was immediately charged. Pics of apartment looks great, including pool. But, not what you would expect from pics and description. “Plush” beds and sofa are not. Very uncomfortable with indentations, bunk bed type framing, creaks. Tv in each room, Wi-Fi slow. Kitchen stocked with bare minimum. Balcony is just that facing rear next door building. Enjoy staring at each other. Then the pool. Day one, unable to use pool as it was taken over by a huge family with kids, loud music and all small portable bbq pits being used allllll day and allll night. Following day (Sunday) most guest checking out and fairly vacant, so I figured we would take advantage of the quiet pool. Well, the pool was green and the little water fall was barely flowing water. I emailed staff (they are quick and easy to contact). They apologized and said would send maintenance, and should they have known it would have been taken care of. Apology goes so far when you pay for something and don’t get it. A pool is maintained routinely not as needed. Lastly, you almost pay the same in fees as you do for the actual rental. 2 nights for $250ish came out to over $1000 after admin, cleaning, pet, booking taxes etc.
Not all rentals charge this much in fees! Careful.

We enjoyed our condo. It is close to the beach and town. We had problems with the key pad locking the door. Management addressed the issue quickly.
One thing I was surprised about there was not a traditional coffee pot. There was a Keurig coffee machine. I packed regular ground coffee and did not have pods. Fortunately, there is a grocery store close buy and they had a good selection of coffee pods…so bring coffee pods.
I recommend this condo.

Great location and clean. Perfect for the family to spend a weekend at the beach!
The only reason I marked this as 4-stars is because the mattresses were not the greatest (think cot mattresses) and could have been a little more comfortable and kinder on our backs!

Had a quick trip to celebrate our anniversary and this condo was perfect. Plenty of room for us plus our labradoodle. The unit was very clean upon arrival and beds were very comfortable. Location is great. Close to beach and town and is within walking distance to dollar general. Would definitely recommend this place and we will be looking forward to staying here again.

It had everything you need. T It was recently remodeled so it's fresh and comfortable. My only criticism was the bedroom ceiling fan was very noisy. It would be beneficial to install a new one. It would be disappointing that this small issue would detract from an otherwise perfect stay.

Nice place to relax and then head to the beach
Nice, clean unit. Pictures are accurate and the owner/manager Josh was very responsive. Front door is very close to stairs to the parking area for pretty easy up/down with luggage, etc. Not an easy walk to the beach, but not a problem since Port Aransas allows you to park on the beach, super close to where you will throw down your towels and chairs to soak up the sun. Just leave your beach stuff in the car. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. There is a good-sized, walk-in shower in the MBR which was fantastic not to have to stepover into a tub. Be sure to look for the extra drawers on the bed frames for extra storage if needed.

I was ready to give this place 5 stars because the rental itself was fine. You can tell that this was an older property that was remodeled but they did a good job with renovations but my dispute is with the additional “credit card processing fee” that was charged to my credit card in addition to my agreed upon booking cost through VRBO. This fee was not listed anywhere on the VRBO listing. The property manager, Joshua, stated that this was a credit card processing fee that is usually 5% but only 3.5% was charged. However, 12% of my total booking cost was charged as this credit card fee. When I brought this to his attention he made a comment that he made exceptions for my 3rd dog and basically that I shouldn’t be bothered by the additional cost and that no one has had an issue with it before. First off, the original VRBO listing had no pet restrictions and only showed that there was a pet fee which I was fine with paying along with a cleaning fee and taxes. He has since updated his posting to show a 2 pet limit and stated by email that “listing are updated all the time” to add amenities. I did make it clear upon booking that I was bringing 3 dogs and Joshua and I discussed this by phone and he said he didn’t have an issue with it but just would trust that my dogs would not destroy blinds. If he did have an issue with it, he could’ve declined my reservation and I would’ve happily booked elsewhere. I don’t mind paying what is due if it is clearly communicated at the time of booking and posted in the property listing. I am not okay with random amounts charged to my card and later being told this is a credit card processing fee of 3.5% when clearly, if you do the math, it is not just 3.5%. This makes me very hesitant to rebook. I’ve never had this issue before with VRBO. I also found it sketchy that earlier in my conversations with Joshua he stated “Please note that we do not charge this and VRBO authorizes these charges. I'm afraid you have to reach them directly about this fee. Thank you!” but later said “I am not refunding the credit card fee. Yes, please feel free to reach out to VRBO regarding the credit card fee”. VRBO confirmed that this was charged by the property not VRBO. Upon speaking with VRBO they stated that their take from the entire transaction was the booking fee which was clearly listed on the booking page.

Pros: clean and pleasant.
Cons: impossible to cook a meal Too Many things missing. Not one salad bowl, only two short glasses for the entire party....the list is long.
Please state clearly what the name of the unit is. We were given a unit number that wasn't anywhere on the property.
The people next door were locked out of their own unit for over two hours with no one to answer their calls. The keypad had stopped working.
