Great stay, would recommend and would stay again!

Rented a private room with bath. Very nice and peaceful hostel with a charming patio area. Could not ask for a better location within walking distance to everything. Clean room, clean linens, comfy bed and nice shower. The staff were very kind and accommodating.

The only suggestion that we would make is to have more wall hooks in the walls in order to hang your clothing as there is no closet. Things tend to get VERY wrinkled in your backpack, so being able to hang them out is a nice option.

Clean, affordable accommodation in Knysna

Conveniently near town center and waterfront. Welcoming hosts, a friendly couple. The place is safe and secure.

Unterkunft mit guter Lage und netten Gastgebern

Gute Lage und kostenlose Parkplätze in der Hofeinfahrt. Nette Gastgeber.

Zimmer recht klein. Im Bad gibt es leider nur Beleuchtung mit Bewegungsmelder sodass Duschen im Hellen schwierig ist.

Keedols the Inn or packpackers place to be

The fact that you don't have to worry about loadshedding, as the hotel has a solar-powered system in place, hot shower 24/7 loadshedding or not, lights never goes out, your laptop and gadgets always gets charged, that's priceless, under the circumstances, rooms are spacious and clean, very kind hearted lady, always smiles and accommodates your special needs whatever that might be, I hardly stay at one place more often specially @Backpackers , but at keedols, I wouldn't be anywhere else but, Thank you Ms Keedols, I will definitely be coming back in a week or so, It was a real pleasure to have met you, I would give it more than 10 star, had you @ ( booking.com ) would let,

What's there not to like, the place is at the heart of the City, securely gated parking close to all amenities, waterfront mall is about 3 to 5 min walking distance, it's amazing place to be, with an amazing human being

The place is safely secured

The booking was made under the impression that the room would have bunk beds and 1 double bed for a couple. When we checked in we were told rooms with double beds were not available.

We loved staying at Keedols, the recommendations of places to visit were great and the accommodation was lovely. We particularly enjoyed snacking on fresh guava every day!

highly recommend comfortable stay in a great location

this is truly a little gem during our garden route trip. Great location, beautiful garden and friendly host who can give you great recommendations to restaurant and tourist attractions around the area. What I love the most about the double room is the King size bed (super comfy), take away all your fatigue from days travel. PS forgot to mention there’s secure private parking too!

Great value!

We had a lovely room. The host and her husband were really welcoming, approachable and helpful. The host herself was interested and caring as well. There's a lovely and cosy patio/terrace and all the regular rooms are surrounding this patio. The accommodation was well maintained, completely functioning, and very clean. The location is convenient: close to everything, yet quiet. Props again to the super friendly host! The price for this place is hard to beat!

Thanks to the load shedding the people that were sitting outside went to their room quite early. Otherwise it would have been difficult to go to sleep I think.

I was puted in a room with male and I was very sked u I was unable to bath bcz oc sharing a room with men(stranger)I'm still shocked even now.price was different than the one charged on booking. Com i had to pay different on my arrival that us unfair nothing.The worce part was at my periods was unable to take shower as there is male in the room.

Great service and friendly atmosphere.

Friendly staff and social atmosphere with many foreign guests coming and going for short-term stays. Nice garden and seating area for breakfasts and braais. Secure parking behind security gate and super helpful owners and staff. Excellent Internet and Wi-Fi. House is old style and cottagey with wooden furnishings.

Best night's rest.

It was very comfortable and everything you might need for a place to unload and to explore the surroundings. Then return and enjoy the best night's rest. Just far away from the noise to enjoy the peace. And close enough to the best breakfast spot in town with a great shop next door. Secure parking was great and best bed and bedding we've had on our trip.

The space was a little bit tight but it did not bother us.

Superb

The location is perfect and central, in a very quiet neighbourhood. It's not fancy but it is super clean, the mattresses are very comfy and there's everything you need in the room (kettle, coffee, mugs, a big TV, Netflix, etc...). The hosts are very friendly, helpful and happy to give us all information required about what to do and what to see in the area. We (a family of 5) felt like home and we will definitely be back at Keedols next time we travel to Knysna. I highly recommend this place.

Great Place Great People

I appreciated how friendly the staff was. They always made sure I was sorted and was okay. They went a step further and always made sure my car and myself was safe as well. The room was quaint and had everything you may need. There was also wifi and a fan if you needed it.

No towels were provided.

Well situated place. Good facilities in the room. Helpful and friendly staff. Very comfortable beds.

The shower head was very small and spraying uneven which made showering a bit of a challenge.

It was a very bad expirience

I was charged an extra R100 in cash as the owner said Booking.com charged me less. That's after I've paid on Booking.com The owner said she wanted me to pay the R100 in cash. If I pay using my card I must pay 10% extra. Wich is unlawful to charge an extra 10%.

The room was too small. It had two single beds it's too small I booked for a double bed. The owner accually said I must leave her premises and found another place to stay. After I've arranged to check in later. The owner said I must get my money from Booking.com
