Our spacious indoor living room and two outdoor lanais offer expansive views of the Pacific Ocean and Makana Mountain (called Bali Hai in the movie South Pacific). This spacious, contemporary, and elegantly decorated home is designed with all of your vacation needs in mind. The Master suite has exquisite ocean views, a King size bed, private lanai with a table, chairs and lounges, and a deluxe, private bathroom with a dual vanity, and a large walk-in shower. The guest bedroom has a lovely Queen size bed and an adjacent bathroom with tub and shower head. The upgraded kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a large beautiful 12 foot peninsula, and ample space for preparing meals and entertaining. What a beautiful property with a beautiful view. You are directly over Hideaways beach and the surf was firing the entire week. If I ever return to the North Shore this property will be my first choice.

Beautiful Condo on Princeville's North Shore! Great access to beaches, beautiful views watching surfers every morning. Condo is well-equipped, clean, and with comfortable beds. Had everything we needed for our stay! Lucy was responsive and check-in was easy. Beach towels, chairs, snorkel gear available for use. Wonderful Christmas Trip with our family! Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Lucy’s condo. It was exactly as described and pictured. Condo was great with everything we needed. Views from the lanai are fantastic. Short walk to beaches and several restaurants. Easy drive to Hanalei. Nice relaxing stay.

Check in was so easy (just show up and use the key pad for access). The condo felt like a home with upto date furniture and kitchen utensils. Location is definitely one of the best on Kauai, next door to 1 Hotel ( previously Ritz Carlton).
Host was engaged and local, able to respond to any pressing need (though we had none). Will book this condo again.

The condo is simply amazing. The view and the sound of the pounding surf are hypnotic. Lucy lives nearby and she is very warm and engaging. This is a Princeville gem. We will return next year.

We had an incredible stay. We live Kauai and especially the north side. The views from either lanai are incredible, and watching surfers in the morning is the perfect way to start to the day. The condo is very well stocked and incredibly private for shared living. We loved everything about and Lucy was awesome. Hideaway beach is a true gem and literally steps away. We will return!!!!

Breathtaking views, loved watching surfers everyday from one of two outside seating areas. The condo was quite large with high quality furniture and appliances. Everything we wanted was supplied. Wonderful location, walking distance to the beach. Hosts could not have been better. They went far above and beyond to help us and educate us on the area. I would book any of the properties owned by these hosts without hesitation.

The condo is the perfect place to stay in Princeville. The views are breathtaking, especially the sunsets. The condo has everything you need, including beach chairs, towels, beach toys etc. to make for the perfect beach day. It's walking distance to restaurants and two beautiful beaches - Hideaways Beach and Puu Poa Beach. The hosts are amazing. I highly recommend and plan to return!

Doug and Lucy’s condo in Princeville, Kauai was everything and more.
Kauai was a bucket list trip for us and the condo was a true hilight. Doug and Lucy were great with communication and guided us to snorkeling gear in the condo. We loved hiking down to Hideaway Beach many times, swimming, snorkeling and watching the sunset.
The apartment was so comfortable - with two Lanai’s, a fully stocked kitchen with everything we could want. We enjoyed cooking and having dinners on the lanai with that “view”!
I highly recommend this condo and staying on the North Shore if you are looking for something different than the resort-scene. We chose this for the great value (2 BR and kitchen) and comfort vs a resort.
Thank you to Doug and Lucy for sharing your slice of heaven with us. We hope to come back one day and stay here again!!

We really enjoyed our trip to Princeville. The views from this condo are amazing. And the location can not be beat. There are a few restaurants that you can walk to and many more that are a short drive. The condo is well equiped and was very comfortable for our family.

The condo was perfect for our family of 4. It was clean, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed-from beach gear to cookware to cleaning supplies. It was warm during our visit but the a/c worked great! The location in Princeville provided easy access to both Puu Poa beach and Hideaway beach without the need to drive or find parking. The pool was quiet and never busy. The lanai is perfectly positioned to view every gorgeous sunset. Mahalo for sharing your condo with us for the week.

Beautiful ocean and Mountain View’s. We woke up with coffee on the lanai, listening to the ocean waves and birds chirping. The evening always ending in epic sunsets. It changed by the minute as the sun was setting.
Spacious rooms and kitchen. Comfortable beds and couch.
The extra rotary fan was a bonus to help with the airflow.

There is something to be said for waking up to a cliffside oceanfront view, having coffee and breakfast on a private terrace, with the conveniences of home! Property was well appointed and provides access to one of the best snorkel spots on the island! Many thanks for an amazing stay!

The condo is amazing! The views are fantastic, we enjoyed watching the sunsets as well as the surfers and boats cruising by during the day from the deck. The condo is incredibly spacious and was a comfortable place for our family to hang out. The kitchen was well equipped and washer/dryer was a big plus. We didn’t end up using them but there were beach chairs, snorkeling sets, boogie boards, beach toys, towels, and a cooler. The condo location is also great, walking distance to Hideaways Beach and Puu Poa Beach. The host also checked in with us to make sure check-in went smoothly and we had everything we needed. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

The communication, responsiveness and hospitality of the property owner was excellent! Lucy checked to see if we needed anything after we arrived and made herself available to us throughout our stay! The property provided just about any and everything you could anticipate needing. This combined with the view of the ocean was second to none! We absolutely Loved this place!

Fantastic condo in Princeville with jaw dropping views! We had a wonderful stay, cooked delicious meals in the well equipped kitchen and enjoyed them on the spacious outside deck overlooking the sea. Beds were super comfy and A/C was a bonus. Couldn’t have asked for a better place. Great communication with owner. Plus, snorkeling at Hideaway’s was the icing on the cake with the trail right outside the complex. Mahalo!

Our group had a wonderful stay in this condo on the north shore. The unit was overall well equipped and made our stay easy. Parking is right out front and we never had an issue getting a spot by our entrance. The building is quiet and we never noticed noise from any of the other units (besides some daytime construction on a unit down the way, nothing intrusive). Bed in the master was very comfortable and we enjoyed the large dressers on either side to unpack into. The AC was nice to have when we wanted it. Most of the time we had the doors open to hear the ocean but two of our days it was muggy. It was nice to be able to cool down the unit for sleeping at night. The unit was clean when we checked in and the carpet looked recently replaced. Hideaway beach below is challenge to get down to (if your trying to carry gear particularly) so we spent more time at Puu Poa down below the hotel. The newly refreshed swimming pool was very nice and we enjoyed swimming there. We would have no problem booking this unit again for another stay in this area. The host live nearby which is a nice peace of mind.

This is a beautiful property and we enjoyed our time there. The host is VERY easy to get a hold of and helped make our stay great! This was our second stay at Pu'u Poa. It is a fantastic location with a spectacular view! And Lucy & Doug are wonderful hosts. They responded to our every need/request with kindness and good humor. The condo comes with comfortable beds, leisure/recreational equipment, and tasteful furnishing. What a pleasure!

I hate writing a great review because that means it will be harder to rent in the future. As much as I’d like to have something negative to say, I just don’t. We have stayed at Puu Poa many times and in many different units. We’ll come back to this one (assuming it is available!). The ONLY things we thought could be improved on was adding a few boxes of Kleenex and sharpening the knives, but those are so minor they aren’t really even worth mentioning.
The hosts, Lucy and Doug, are very helpful & conscientious - they even live nearby and can help if you have any issues. The views are spectacular. The carpet is new. The bed and furniture is comfortable. The location is awesome.

This condo has incredible views and the location is absolutely perfect for Princeville. We have never seen a more amazing sunset in our lives right from the balcony.
The condo is clean and has everything you need including beach chairs, boogie boards and beach towels. The kitchen has everything you need and there is a grill to cook dinner at home if you like.
We just had a little difficulty getting in when we arrived because it was dark and the outdoor light wasn't that bright. But that wasn't a big deal overall. Personally, I would love to update the condo's decor and bedspreads but it probably wouldn't bother most people. I'm just picky that way and, ultimately, this condo is great.
AND, our host was so kind to let us have a late checkout on the day we were to leave because our plane left in the early evening and we would have had no where to go. We REALLY appreciated their help on that!

The two beaches within walking distance provided some great snorkeling. The views from the Lanai and nearby Alexander Point were spectacular. The hikes within a quick drives distance were unforgettable.
We only used the kitchen for breakfasts and it had all the supplies we could need. The 3 ACs kept us comfortable in the evenings. Only notable downside was the queen size bed: not a very comfortable standard metal spring mattress.
Lucy is very friendly and a great host. She gave me a heads up a week + in advance of some construction going on around the condo complex that would be noisy during the last couple days of our stay. We decided it wouldn’t be a bother for us to stay anyway and we’re glad we did. When the construction started she reached out again to make sure there was indeed no bother.
I definitely recommend staying here.

Great location in Princeville
We had a great time at this condo, which has a lovely view of the start of the Napali coast. There are several beaches nearby, but you must go down the cliff. Access to the closest beach, HIdeaways, is down a very steep dirt path, and hard to bring chairs, cooler, etc. However, you can get to Puu Poa beach, a nice sandy beach, via paved stairs next to the former St. Regis Princeville Resort (currently being remodeled). Since that large resort is closed, Puu Poa beach was not crowded. The condo is spacious and the kitchen well appointed. Beach chairs, snorkel gear, and other beach items were provided. The condo faces west and the sun is intense in the late afternoon, but that also makes for beautiful sunsets, which we enjoyed each evening. The living room can heat up, as indicated in some reviews, but we found that the standing fan provided alleviated this problem. Owner was communicative and helpful.

Views are amazing and Pua Poa is in a great location with easy access to Queens Bath, Hanalei and great beaches. The unit itself is well stocked but is dated and needs some maintenance.
