About this house rental
Enjoy Innsbrook Resort while relaxing at Dragonfly Dreams. Our lakefront chalet located on Whitetail Creek Lake has four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. This chalet sleeps 12 comfortably with a king size bed in the master bedroom, then upstairs has a queen size bed and the other two bedrooms each have a full size bed plus a set of bunk beds. There is a child safety gate at the top of the stairs as well as outside on all the stairs. The upstairs bathroom has a full bathtub and shower combination. The stairs to the second floor are the standard stairs in the Innsbrook Chalets. Guests will love the lake view with beautiful sunsets from the house deck, sandy beach or fishing dock. Lake is stocked and lots of fish to be caught using the fishing equipment available to our guests. Enjoy the spacious lakefront land by swinging on the swing or playing volleyball or others games in the large flat backyard. Guests can use the canoe, 3 kayaks, muck mat off the beach, tennis equipment or cook out on the gas grill. Enjoy coffee in the morning from the back deck or the private deck off the master bedroom. Have fun making s’mores and memories at the outdoor lakeside firepit. Inside relax playing any of the many board games or curling up on the couch for a movie by the 3-sided wood burning fireplace. Plenty of space to spread out and entertain between the kitchen, high-top table or large dining room table utilizing the recently upgraded stainless steel appliances. Our guests have access to all of the amenities and activities at Innsbrook. With over 100 lakes on 8000 acres, so many fun things to do at Innsbrook. Some of the sports activities include an 18-hole golf course with driving range and clubhouse restaurant, outdoor swimming pool with fitness center and playground, pickleball courts, tennis courts, basketball, and sand volleyball. Guests can also go horseback riding, go on a hayride, hike the miles of trails, swim at one of the 14 beaches or rent a variety of boats. Innsbrook also offers outdoor concerts and summer camp for the kids. Please note that the outdoor pool is open from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.

Dragonfly Dreams was the perfect place for a long weekend fall getaway with my daughter, mom and sister. It was close to home but still felt like we were far away in the middle of the woods. Everything you could possibly need is provided-fully stocked kitchen for cooking, firewood for the fireplace and fire pit, kayaks and a canoe and life vests for fun on the lake, games and puzzles, even a s’mores kit! Beds were comfy and bath towels plush and soft. We had a delicious dinner at the Clubhouse restaurant but cooked most of our meals at the rental. Loved seeing all the deer on our walks and drives around the resort! We would love to come and stay in the summer months to enjoy more lake time and the pool but this time of year is beautiful there. You will not be disappointed!

We loved the view and all of the little extras the hosts had left for us (fresh flowers, great wine, even s’mores supplies!). It was so fun to listen to birds and spy deer eating foliage in the yard, and we all slept great. The only downside was that the lake was a bit too shallow and plant-filled for us to enjoy swimming or kayaking, but we had no trouble keeping ourselves busy with all of the other activities at Innsbrook (pickleball, swimming at the pool, even just board games at the house) and nearby (Cedar Lake Cellars and Thierbach Orchards were both a lot of fun). Our whole group agreed that this was our best family vacation by far, and we definitely look forward to coming back.

Nice property with great beach, dock, and yard. House was roomy and clean. Owner was responsive and included some thoughtful touches in the cabin. But Innsbrook does needs to work on the lake a bit.

Great getaway! Stayed 3 nights and could not have enjoyed it any more than we did. Great fishing, amenities, and is on one of the flatter lots in are making easy to get around property. Definitely will be back!

Great space for mulitple families! The 4 bedrooms were key to everyone receiving a good nights rest which was crucial because of all the activities the property and Innsbrook has to offer!

We had a great 3 day weekend at the Dragonfly property. It was a November trip so it was chilly. We played games by the beautiful indoor fireplace. We hiked each day and saw a lot of deer and birds. We got one sunny day and ventured out in the canoe and hung out on the dock. The home is lovely and well-equipped with everything you will need. We did a lot of cooking and barbequed on the deck. It was very windy so we didn't use the firepit, but that area was really nice. We want to come back when it's warmer so we can spend more time on or around the lake. It's a great getaway. Highly recommend!

There is insufficient lighting on the property and sidewalks and grounds. The stairs to the upper level should be condemned. In the evening on the second night there I ran into the glass door that I could not see and broke my hip.

This place was perfect for a retreat with the family. The house was a little dated and the wifi was slow, but overall made for a fantastic trip especially the sanded area by the water.

We celebrated an anniversary with family ranging in age from seniors to a toddler. We enjoyed all of the amenities. We had S’mores, beach sand time, canoeing, kayaking, campfires, and hikes. The kitchen has quality cooking supplies. We appreciated the kitchen because we cooked gourmet meals for 10 people. The bedrooms are comfortable and private. The pool, beach, and workout center at Innsbrook Resort are amazing. The lake house is well cared for. Thank you for the opportunity to stay there. The owner was resourceful, dependable, and easily accessed. The maintenance man was polite and helpful.

We stayed at Dragonfly Dreams with another family and had the best long weekend full of swimming, kayaking, fishing, s’mores and fun. The owners graciously provided everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay and went above and beyond in providing extras throughout the cabin. We loved the property cleanliness, location and outdoor setup. It was truly a wonderful weekend, thank you!

4th of July Stay
We had a great holiday weekend with my family and parents. The house was perfect and our kids loved the swing in the backyard. All of the communication was easy and timely and helped make it a relaxing stay.

Beautiful Property!
Not our first visit to Innsbrook for Thanksgiving, but our first visit to the Dragonfly Inn - and it was delightful!! The cabin was charming, with a perfect 'yard' (especially for the little ones, nice and level - no drop offs!) We were well-stocked with firewood, which we had perfect weather to use all of it! Greeted with gifts (s'mores, wine and an apple pie!) and fresh flowers, our stay was fantastic! Lynn was immediately responsive to any requests - and we would be happy to return again! Thank you!!

Cute Property
We had a great time. The property was super cute. We loved the back yard with the swing and volleyball net. Owners were very responsive to questions. Beds and sheets were comfortable and plenty to do inside and out for all. Would love to have stayed during warmer weather to access the water but we loved the fire pit and outdoor area.
For older guests, it’s good to know that The steps were a little steep going up to the other rooms upstairs. Great property for kids.

It is a lovely property that is well-maintained. My wife watched 15 deer trot through the property one day. The trees are right up by the house so we could leave the windows open at night despite it raining. We enjoyed our stay!

We arrived Friday afternoon to a clean and welcoming cabin, complete with table settings ready to go on the tables. We really enjoyed all the kayaks and canoe. It was perfect to have a smaller kayak for our younger kids to practice and by the end of the weekend, most had greatly improved! The lake was very calm with only a couple other families utilizing the water sporadically. We were a bit disappointed that the water was very shallow, only 4-5 feet deep throughout so it wasn't the best for swimming but we did our fair share of floating. We caught plenty of fish on Saturday. We utilized the gas grill and appreciated having plenty of grilling utensils. There are a variety of games to play and we brought our game of cornhole which was nice to set-up on the large deck. The wood was well-stocked for evening fires with a s'mores kit provided by the owner. We did consider renting a pontoon but ended up staying at the chalet instead. Great place, the kids want to come back every September!

Great Innsbrook vacation
My kids and grandkids and I spent a great 5 days at the Dragonfly Dreams. The house was everything as listed and more. It was clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and had all the many touches that make the difference between an OK experience and a great experience. We loved the fishing dock, the sandy beach, the swing, hammock, volleyball and firepit and used all of them. We also spend a lot of time on the huge deck with a view of the lake and beach. Having at least 'starter' amounts of dish and laundry detergent and TP and salt and pepper, etc. as well as fishing equipment, life vests, tennis gear, etc. made the trip so much easier as we did not have to pack all of those things to bring with us. The kids (big and little) really enjoyed having use of the canoe and kayaks. The extra touches of sm'ores, fresh flowers, bottled water (and wine!) all contributed to making it a super nice stay. Lynn was very responsive to everything and we definitely look forward to a return visit.

Everything is maintained in excellent condition. It's a super cute property with tasteful decorations, and some of that doesn't come through in the photos, which are a little bit on the gray side or dreary appearing on the exterior. Don't be fooled! I would love to come back to this property if my family visits Innsbrook again.

Great spot for families, time on the water
We enjoyed our stay at this chalet, having visited Innsbrook once before but wanting a spot on the water. Our kids (& grown ups!) were nonstop fishing, kayaking & playing in the sand (all items provided, including life jackets and a couple of fishing rods in the chalet).
The huge dining table was great to gather around, as was the well shaded deck. Fire pit chairs were very comfortable for s’mores night (items provided for s’mores by the host!). I would note that the upstaira bedrooms (3) are up a steep ladder-style staircase so it would not be great for older adults with mobility issues or very young children, but it was a great layout for our needs. There were thoughtful touches like a bottle of wine, fresh flowers, extra toiletries in a cabinet, the paper product and soap we would need for a week, and bottled water inside. We also appreciated the water filter on the kitchen faucet.
Small issues to note with this chalet was that cleaning left a bit to be desired (cobwebs in corners and windows, dirty mirrors and microwave) though it was acceptable for a lake house. The appliances are on the lower end, including small kitchenware (toaster, microwave, coffee pot), and while the host was responsive we had issues with the coffee maker and refrigerator. The gas grill was excellent for our needs, though small. I let the host know a few suggestions for other items in the kitchen and she graciously said she will be adding them to the stock for future visitors.
Overall would recommend this chalet and would consider staying for a return visit to Innsbrook!

We had a wonderful time at this spacious home. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed spending most of our time on the deck. Several times we took out the canoe and enjoyed seeing the herons and turtles. The bedrooms were comfortable. The beds were awesome. The kitchen was well appointed. The owners were very responsive with our request.

we were so pleased when we pulled down the drive, and even more when we went inside, and explored the backyard. My family enjoyed this place so much! The kids had a blast fishing, kayaking, playing volleyball and sitting around the fire every night. There were terrible storms the last night we were there, and the owners called to make sure we were ok. We will definitely be back!

We rented Dragonfly Dreams fir a family vacation for 3 nights and we’re so glad we did! There was enough space for three families with children and the beds were very comfortable. The chalet is beautiful and has access to a lake. The backyard is unique for Innsbrook because it is flat and easy to see everything from the back deck. Our kids loved canoe rides, playing at the sand on the beach, and making s’mores at the fire pit. The pool at Innsbrook was a relaxing way to cool down in the middle of the day. Lynn was a great host and went out of her way to accolade our needs! She communicated clearly and quickly with us. We hope to make a stay at Dragonfly Dreams a part of our family traditions!
