Comfortable and spacious room with excellent air conditioning and a lovely view! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Walking distance to town centre and the beach was right outside! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation was really nice and clean. The host is very polite and always ready to provide you with all the information you may need. The location is good since it is a quiet place, it is easy to access the city but in the same time you are far from busy traffic and city noise in the evening. You can also reach the Chania city center by foot, it takes only 20 min walk. The apartment is very clean, it gets cleaned every 2-3 days. If you have a car, you always have a place to park and you can easily access the main road that leads you to other beaches. We recommend the apartment to anyone and we hope to see you again in the near future!

Kind and friendly host, clean and quiet room, so I had no problems. A supermarket is 6-7 mins away, a smalller "beach-shop" is 2-3- mins away. There is a bus stop nearby as well.

- cleaning (when we arrived there was a lot of dark long hair on the floor) - fighting with ants (but baking powder works:) - they could make minor repairs in the bath - towns garbage collection at 5 a.m.

Kalliopi Studios - Apartments is a good accomodation that you should consider. It is very clean, someone moped the floor and took care of the overall look of our room every day. We initially didn’t like the location - as it is a 30-minute-walk away from the central region of Chania (where the main bus station is), and is connected to Chania-proper via a 1 km dirt road that gets pretty dark at night, but looking back on it, that’s exactly what we loved about it: it is close to the beach and far enough from the city that it’s not busy or overcrowded, but close enough that you could be in the middle of it all in half an hour. The staff were friendly too, and there were no problems between us. For what we paid, the place is ultimately very good-value and has a relaxed vibe to it that make it stand out from the rest.

We experienced some problems during our stay, and I think they should be considered carefully as well. The most annoying one was the air conditioning, that was quite hard to turn on (we even spent 30 minutes once just pressing the button) because of the control not working properly and eventually running out of battery after a few days. We told the staff about it and they had it fixed, only it’s annoying to sleep one night with no air conditing. The bathroom was kind of crowded, and the place on the balcony where we used to dry our clothes was a bit rusted, to the point that we damaged a few of our clothes. These are only minor problems, but nevertheless I believe they can ruin someone’s holiday experience.
