Comfortable home, with lovely furniture and decoration. Nice garden/patio areas to sit outside. Good cooking facilities.

No hot water. This isn't a problem for showering as it is tepid rather than cold, however in the kitchen, hot water is very helpful. As I arrived straight from the airport in 34 degree heat and high humidity, it would have been nice to have a bit of fruit or even a small bottle of water. But overall, this home is very good value for money.

The host was really nice and helped us with everything. The decor of the house was amazing and super comfy. It was very good located and in a safe area. 10 to 15 minutes driving to the airport.

The guard in charge of opening and closing the gate at the entrance was not very friendly

We loved the homely feel and the space, the amazing communication from the owners and their willing to help with any issues or questions we had (it was 10/10 for communication), and the best part is we were in a safe, locked, and secured area. Nice neighbourhood too! :)

The ants, from kitchen to bedroom upstairs and bathrooms, and the sheets had animal hair, and the spare blanket had a strong women's perfume smell, which shows it wasn't clean. But those are easily fixed things :)

We arrived to this vacation rental after a fiasco with our previous rental. Let's say this was home was in way better condition than the previous. Both Maru and her husband greeted us when we arrived and were very helpful in our check-in and were kind enough to provide us with a handbook about the home but also on local restaurants, grocery stores, shopping centers and beaches near the home. The location of the home is not far from the hotel zone or the major shopping areas. Which was perfect, if we ever craving something late in the night we could walk to the local Oxxo, or explore the neighborhood. The location of the house is also a plus, being in a private residential area, you can assure yourself that you won't have to worry about loud cars or anything else that goes on. The area is gated and there is one entrance/exit which only the guard is allowed to operate and they check who comes in and out. The house overall was lovely, with private bathrooms in each room, a spacious kitchen, patios, balconies and a lovely backyard if you ever want to relax and hear the birds. Though there was a laundry service close by the neighborhood we took advantage of the hand washer in the home and dried our clothes in the sun. Which at times the sun and the heat could be brutal but we had AC in every room and fans to help circulate air in the home. As far as for traveling and excursions TripAdvisor gave great recommendations and there's plenty of tours being offered in the Cancun area. Though if you rented a vehicle it will make traveling to places like Playa del Carmen, Holbox, Chichen-Itza, and Valladolid much more easier. If not there's taxi's and busses you can take. There are taxi drivers who have personal cards and are more than welcomed to drive you to where you need to go.

The only issue I had with the home was the plumbing. We had a couple of instances where the toilets wouldn't flush properly, especially if the water in the toilet was low. It can get annoying but there's a bucket to help pour water down the toilet to help it flush.
