The property is well maintained, and very clean and has a super location, with spectacular views. The kitchen has everything you could need. The bedrooms have king beds and amazing bathrooms. We had a great time and truly enjoyed our time there.

We loved Luxe Bear Lodge for our 2023 Family vacation. The home was absolutely beautiful - clean rooms and bathrooms, upgraded kitchen for cooking a Thanksgiving Dinner for 16, comfortable theatre room, entertaining game room, two clean and pre-heated hot tubs, wrap around porch with amazing views of the mountains, more than enough caged trash cans (A must for a big family), etc....There were also some nice little touches that made our trip extra special - Christmas Decorations (Inside/Out), candy and popcorn in the game room, Smores and Cookies, Robes and Slippers in all rooms, plenty of clean quality towels, and cleverly packaged shampoo, conditioner, soap (Etc.) Katy and Bodhi were both absolutely amazing - they were kind, responsive, and accessible! I know they put in countless hours to decorate the home inside and out for Christmas - thank you so much Katy and Bodhi!! I really can't thank you all enough for giving my family such a memorable family trip. We did want to see a Bear - I guess that would be my only complaint. Thank you again to the Owners, Katy and Bodhi - you're amazing! Thank you!

This home was perfect for our family!! We had such and awesome time!! We arrived and met Bodhi who gave us the details of the house. He was accessible when we needed help with one of the TVs during our stay. Everything in the house was as described online. The drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was great!!! We will definitely stay here again!!

The luxe Bear Lodge has Bohdi, thee absolute best house host ever. He made sure we had everything we needed and replaced the BlueRay player when it went out, to ensure we would be able to watch a movie together. The Lodge is so beautiful the pictures don’t do it justice. The view from the porch is a slice of heaven. The kitchen has everything you need and more. We plan to make this an annual trip. We absolutely enjoyed our stay

When arriving we got to meet Bohdi and he was great. Showed us around helped with the TV’s and I had to text him a few times with questions and he was absolutely the best. Answered all our questions and super nice. Same as Katy! She was great with communicating with me via text. The house was very clean plenty of towels and supplies. Only thing I didn’t like were the bears! One bear, which my husband didn’t see growled at my him as he was taking out the trash so my husband ran back up the hill. Saw a Momma bear and cub which walk on the bottom deck so be careful!

Wonderfully decorated for the holiday season. Our family absolutely enjoyed this well appointed lodge, spending time playing games in game room, watching movies in the theatre room and utilizing the hot tubs.
The main level living room is a great space for a family to enjoy each other’s company, laughing and making memories.

Incredible views
The place was very much as advertised online. We had 20 adults there for a college reunion trip.
The good: the views were incredible, most rooms were very spacious and had their own private bathroom, many different indoor games to play on a rainy day, amazing kitchen when cooking for a large group, nice fire pit, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were spacious, no hot water shortage, wrap around deck, a ton of kitchen appliances and dishes, multiple fridges, very fun theatre room, high ceilings, log cabin construction
The not so good: some small issues with cleanliness, unable to connect your own device to the outdoor speakers, doors automatically lock behind you but the door code only worked on the front door keypad for us, Wi-Fi was very slow in most areas of the home (could have been the number of guests), hot tubs had an unpleasant smell after the first time we used them (may just need cleaned/shocked), the theatre room had the option to utilize Amazon video, Netflix, etc. but every time we started a program it crashed and popped up saying that the video source had been lost.
Overall we had a great stay, the hosts were very nice and communicated instantly every time I reached out to them. Only a few hiccups.

Our wedding stay!
This was by far the most incredible vacation rental we have EVER had. My wife and I booked the Luxe Bear Lodge to hold our reception for our Gatlinburg wedding. Words can’t describe how wonderful this cabin is!! Our entire family was lost for words at the beauty of this place. We were so blessed to have been able to hold our special night here and have nothing but resounding praise for both the staff and the property!

Since we were close to the National Park we went hiking plus spent an afternoon at Dollywood. Sober Men's Retreat
A few weeks after our organization's annual conference in NYC, I decided to suggest a Great Smokey Mountains Retreat for members who would like to reconnect in the fall. With guys coming from different parts of the country, I wanted to find the best accommodations possible, as many of them had never been to the Smokies before. After weeks of research, I presented Luxe Bear Lodge to the group as my top choice, even though it was significantly more expensive than we initially discussed. Once the group saw all that this amazing property had to offer, we decided it was worth the added expense, and we booked it. This turned out to be the best decision we could have made, because Luxe Bear Lodge was even more incredible than we expected. I would be hard pressed to come up with any ideas for improvement, because it seems like they have thought of everything. On top of that, the owner and managers of the property were extremely kind and responsive when we had questions.
We are already hoping to return to Luxe Bear Lodge next year, and we highly recommend this property to other groups. We also recommend planning for plenty of time at the cabin to enjoy the endless amenities.

Fabulous stay
We booked this house after our first rental had too many problems to stay at. It’s a wonderful property that have us plenty of space for a great week of fun and fellowship. We appreciated all the touches in the house from a great game room, an outdoor fire pit, and quality cookware and utensils in the kitchen. We won’t hesitate to book this house again when back in this area.

At booking, we noted that we were taking the trip to celebrate our matriarch's 85th birthday and two high school graduations. Kimberly reached out to us independently to plan for a celebration cake and balloons to be there upon our arrival.
The house itself is spectacular. We had 14 adults, 3 teenagers, and 2 kids staying at the house, yet we never once felt overcrowded. I think it was a tie for which room was the favorite. The game room, with the air hockey table, pool table, foosball table, etc., was a blast. Everyone enjoyed the home theater room and especially loved the popcorn maker, candy selection, and theater-style seating. The bathrooms were also a highlight. Two had whirlpool/jacuzzi style tubs, one had a sauna, and several had spacious showers. We took turns taking baths using the bubble bath and bath bombs left in a gift basket at our arrival.
As beautiful as the house was inside, the views outside stole the show. We took several hikes around the house. We took advantage of the outdoor grill and fire pit for smore making. We loved all the seating outdoors, especially the rocking chairs with the spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains and the outdoor fireplace.
The road to and from the house is narrow and winding and it takes a good 7-8 minutes once turned off the main road, but the drive was worth every minute and is a good opportunity to look for wildlife (for everyone but the driver).
The internet is SLOW at times, especially when we had our whole group at the house. Some of our group had to work, so that was a drawback. But it was not so bad that it would scare us away from returning, and the other features of the home outweigh this minor inconvenience.
The owner and property manager were very responsive. We had a minor issue with the home during our stay and everything was handled quickly and professionally.
Our whole family had a great time. The location cannot be beat. We were all planning our next trip before we ever left... maybe by the second day. I hope we return every year.

We loved all the seating outdoors, especially the rocking chairs with the spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains and the outdoor fireplace. The road to and from the house is narrow and winding and it takes a good 7-8 minutes once turned off the main road, but the drive was worth every minute and is a good opportunity to look for wildlife (for everyone but the driver). The internet is SLOW at times, especially when we had our whole group at the house. Some of our group had to work, so that was a drawback. But it was not so bad that it would scare us away from returning, and the other features of the home outweigh this minor inconvenience. The owner and property manager were very responsive. We had a minor issue with the home during our stay and everything was handled quickly and professionally. Our whole family had a great time. The location cannot be beat. We were all planning our next trip before we ever left... maybe by the second day. I hope we return every year.

Amazing
The property is exactly as described which is amazing. The house was clean and has all the necessities. Communication with the property manager was easy and prompt. The view from the wrap around porch is gorgeous. It’s a luxurious house with everything we needed. We would definitely go back.
