Our group consisted of my daughter, her husband, my son and his daughter. Our ages are 77, 57, 56, 55, and 9, so you can imagine that our stay was focused on the 9 year old. It rained most days, but we cooked, played games, opened presents, watched the geese, and took naps. My son "dipped" into the lake, but was alone in his daring venture. This house was in a quiet neighborhood which seemed to be populated by permanent residents. No noise and not much coming and going. The property was perfectly clean and had plenty of towels. The only criticism (and this is only because we are a family of cooks) would be that there was a dearth of pots and pans and mixing bowls. We made do and got along fine. All in all, a wonderful holiday.

The house and grounds were beautiful and looked as noted in pictures. The deck on back of the home along with beach/lake was a big hit with my young nieces and provided a nice break between our wedding activities. We really appreciated all of the amenities that were provided. The house manager was gracious and responded promptly as needed. We all agreed we would come back again!

This home was perfect for my family. We were able to swim and fish right from the backyard. The mattresses were perfect! The house was very clean and the sunsets from the porch were so beautiful.

House right on the lake, beautiful view and very comfortable! Had a highchair and pack n play which was great since we had an infant with us! The kayaks and beach towels were also put to good use!

We are a family of 4 & had my mother stay with us as well. We had more than enough room for everyone & we loved how cozy each room was. The home was beautiful decorated & very clean. All of the beds were super soft & we had plenty of towels & extra blankets to cozy up with to watch the rain. It rained every day we were there but somehow we still had the best time. When the rain would die down the kids loved swimming at the beach & floating on the floats that were provided. They even supplied beach towels. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook & there are tons of restaurants in the area to order from. Grocery stores, movie theatre, bowling alley & indoor Go-Karts were all within 10 minutes of the house as well. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to have an awning or some sort of cover on the back porch so we could sit outside during the rain. Overall it was a trip chock full of new memories that we will cherish forever.
We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time visiting with family & friends. While it rained pretty much the entire time we were here we still had the best time. The kids loved the lake & had a great time swimming. The beds were so comfy & the house was so cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook what ever we wanted. There are grocery stores, shopping, bowling, indoor gokart, movie theatre & tons of restaurants all within a 10 minute drive from the house as well. If there was one thing I could change it would be to have a covered back porch but that was only because we love sitting outside & watching the rain. The beach was so nice & had a nice gradual grade out to the dock. The property manager was very responsive & attentive as well. We will definitely be back.

Great property on the lake! Amenities for an infant, and plenty of towels, couldn’t find sheets for pullout couch though? Would definitely recommend for a family getaway!

Everyone in our family was over the age of 40 and we thoroughly enjoyed the home! It was absolutely lovely! Our elder parents had no issues getting around the home with the zero entry entrance and the easy access showers. I might suggest a few grab bars in one or both bathrooms and advertise the home as handicap accessible/friendly. The kitchen was challenging to cook a full meal in as the pots, pans, etc are very limited. The boat dock is really needing some love as well, but overall we loved our time in the home!

The property was beautiful. Took a short weekend trip with other adult family members and this house was great. I would suggest adding a Keurig coffee maker and black out curtains in the master suite. While the view of the lake through all the windows is awesome. the sunlight early in the morning makes sleeping in difficult. Thanks!

We were actually there for a wedding, so we brought our son and daughter, and there three children with us.
Pros:
Home was modern
Great Lake access
Fishing was wonderful
Kids enjoyed swimming
Lake was wonderful
I personally loved the kitchen
Proximity to wedding in Charlotte was great
Stores were close buy that was perfect
Cons:
No water, no one could use toilet because water would not fill it; if you are washing, using dishwasher or washing dishes
Beach littered with feces, with three young children we cleaned it up so they could swim. The poor agent tried to help, but could not fin anyone who would respond to her; we wound up cleaning beach area. I finally called my dad drive up with material to clean the beach area up, they live in Gibsonville so he threw tools in his car drove an hour and a half; then helped us and he drove back home. We don’t live in the state so to go and buy those types of items would have been ludicrous.
Master bedroom no closet to hang our clothing (suggestion: put hooks on doors) made dressing for the wedding a task. So my gown had to be hung on master bedrooms curtain rod; along with my husband suit.
Showering was a task, the house has two bathrooms; but once again water was in short supply, two ppl could not use both showers at once. Which meant no washing dishes, flushing toilets, etc. until all were showered. Keep in mind for adults and three children was crazy especially trying to get ready for a wedding.
Bunk beds for the kids, just need a little tightening. The bunks wobbled I was afraid the four and six year old would get hurt or that it would fall on them.
The Children, likes when papa cooks for them on grill; we looked for grill brush to clean Weber which was rusted and appeared to not be cleaned since it was purchased. We cleaned it up a bit, used aluminum foil to prepare there meals. The egg that was there was another story within itself.
Sidebar:
One thing to note, the pier the wood is coming up when you walk in several spots you will find that they are not loose but just in put place.
Honestly we would stay there again, we would love to see above fixed. We did enjoy our stay; we got to see our other grandchildren which made things all around ok. The house was perfectly located close to the wedding venue. These mishaps were a nuisance but all and all we managed.

Great house true to all the pics and descriptions
Lovely and comfy. I had such a wonderful time.
My only ask would be to make check out later. 10 is too early to get all the things done. Added some anxiety to get all of it completed.
Will do it again!!!

The property was great. Our only negative is that I had to rent 4 houses and a barn for all the families. Of course they were not all close to each other but the barn was centrally located so it worked out great for night activities and dinner for all. Long boat rides to get to each others houses for the water activities.

A true gem
Loved the house the view and the memories. Nicely decorated. Homey feel and roomy!!! Comfy.
My only ask would be for a later check out. It was stressful to get everything the way the checklist asked. And we would have loved to spend more time ensuring all was perfect!!
We will do it again!!
Thanks

The home was clean and the view was beautiful. Some of the furniture seemed not sturdy especially the bunk beds when the kids tried to use them, seemed precarious.
