Just steps away from the beautiful sands of PCB! Breathtaking views from this 8th floor condo at the Summit! This condominium is located on the beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Mexico in Panama City Beach, Florida. It is at The Summit on Thomas Drive. You will find yourself within walking distance of restaurants, amusement parks, golf courses, and more. Grills are provided on site if you enjoy cooking out. There is also a TIKI bar in the pool area which is close to the beach so you can get a cool drink any time without leaving the property. A bar and grill called Bikini Bobs is onsite for food The Summit has two large pools for guests as well as both indoor and outdoor hot tubs! An exercise room is located on the ground floor near the lobby for guests as well! The master bedroom in this beautiful unit has a king size size bed and a flat screen tv. It has access to the 1.5 bathroom with a shower/tub combo, 2 sinks and 2 toilets! The hallway has a twin size bunkbed. The oceanfront living room has a QUEEN size sleeper sofa, a flat screen tv and access to the oceanfront balcony. The kitchen comes fully stocked with everything needed to cook a great meal! Private balcony is the perfect height for breathtaking views of the Gulf!

We were happy with our choice for a long stay this year. It wasn’t perfect. The drain in the second bathroom kept clogging. The deck furniture needs to be updated. The condo, however, made everything okay. Great location and lots to do. We would stay again.

The room was great..other than neighbors smoking dope and it getting into our room. Management at the condo was afraid to do their job and couldn't care less. Only 2 of 4 elevators were working. We will definitely not stay at this condo again.

Sand was in bed when arrived. Kitchen was not stocked compared to other beach condos and glass tables are a terrible idea. Long wait on elevators almost the entire time. The gym equipment was terrible. On a good note the condo cost slightly less than many others and the stay overall was good.

I didn’t originally book this room, but the condo we rented was sold and they move us to this unit. The views are beautiful, the location is great. The pictures are accurate; however the room is outdated not very clean when we arrived, smells like mold, everything is falling apart like the wall plugs coming out the sockets, doors falling apart, rusted vents, and nasty ceiling. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this unit, there’s better options to stay. The summit doesn’t have heated pools or a nice hot tube that doesn’t look like you will catch something from it, but the tiki bar was awesome and the staff was friendly. Great time, but disappointed in the condo and resort.

The overall experience of this condo is just ok. Upon entry the unit wasn’t properly cleaned and we had to clean when we arrived. There was no dustpan in the unit so that had to be purchased by us. We were told there were two toilets and there was but one was taped off and couldn’t be used and the water was also turned off. We reached out and never got responses after we were asked to provide pictures. The sliding glass door was also broken and couldn’t be locked. Just a lack of upkeep from management definitely. The view from the balcony is lovely. The beds were in decent shape. Kitchen is lacking on utensils and pots. There are 4 towels and 4 washcloths so if u need more or don’t want to wash them everyday then bring extras. The complex itself is ok considering it is one of the oldest in PCB. The elevators were broken more than half the time. We would not rebook this unit and are not sure we would even consider booking with this rental company again because it is obvious that if u have an issue they do not care.

The unit was dirty when we arrived. It was 4:30. We ended up cleaning it ourselves because no one showed up to clean until around 9 pm. The globes were off the lights. The toilet seat by the shower has a crack in it and it will pinch you.

We arrived security was nice. Went to office gentlemen was rude. We opened our unit furniture and condo furniture was nice looked like pictures. However upon unpacking and checking out condo we found roaches crawling on the walls In the living room they were small so we didn’t think much of it. Then when we laid out the sofa bed they came crawling out in numbers. We had them crawling even in our shower which I took pictures of and a video showing they were live. I think the condo was clean as a unit but was infested due to a couple of buildings being vacant beside this condo due to a previous hurricane. But over all we swept and killed roaches the whole trip as well as cleaned unit.
The other bad part is the elevator was a nightmare. 4 elevators and 2 were never working . Wait times were up to 20 min just to get an elevator. So I would not stay here again.

Check in was at 4pm but Housekeeping was not done with our room until 5pm or later. Once they were done, It still wasn't too clean, I swept up 2 dust pans of sand and a couple small liquor bottles from under the bed. Roaches were everywhere! Baby and adult roaches were In the fridge, dishwasher, under counters, on top of counters, in the bedroom, and in the living room. I will never stay here again. Not the owners fault but The elevators were also a huge problem. Not enough elevators for the amount of people. We took the steps many times to keep from waiting 20+ minutes for the elevator.

Zero communication and accountability for the safety of their guests
Property not cleaned thoroughly. Bed sheets were not even changed. The worst part is safety. They allowed someone in our room without our knowledge. We found out that they keep all door codes in this building the exact same! They lied to us when we asked them about it. They would not consider changing our code for us. They completely ignored us after our first call. Zero accountability. It is despicable. Do Not Stay Here. Do not rent from Emerald Coast Destination Inc (ECDI) period

We rented a condo from them for 2 weeks. When we arrived, the refrigerator had dozens of dead and alive cockroaches. The coffee pot also contained one. We emailed them the pictures and they sent someone out to spray, but we had to clean it up ourselves. The next day, the ceiling starts leaking water in the kitchen and on the bed in the master bedroom. I called the emergency number and spoke to a girl about my concerns of the continued cockroaches making their way into the fridge and the wet bed. She promised she would talk to her manager and call me back. I never heard back, so I called back and left 3 voicemails. Still no response. While the leaks stopped, the cockroaches kept coming. They were also in the dishwasher and every cabinet/drawer! One ended up in my 3 year old’s shoe even!! Additional emails and calls went unanswered so we ended up leaving early. Avoid renting from this company. I know I will in the future. 18 years of coming to PCB and I have never met such terrible customer service or so many cockroaches!!

It was not a good experience at all! There were roaches everywhere and black mold under the kitchen sink and above the bunk bed. After multiple emails they finally came and sprayed and we still had roaches on the living room wall and in the master bedroom it was disgusting! I will never stay here again!

We went on spring break we always go during summer .there were shootings almost every night. The spring breakers were just a little out of control this year. The summer is a great place I would continue to stay there just not going on spring break

TV was broken but was replaced the day after. Maintenance's guy was awesome. If I go back to the Summit it won't be in that unit. The unit was supposed to have a washer and dryer but did not. Owner never got back to me about this issue. Needed batteries but the front desk wouldn't help us so we had to call the original place we booked through. Overall the property was nice and we had a great time. The extra 20 to park was crazy though with the price we paid for our room and the desk people couldn't help with nothing.

Very Nice
The location was perfect. First time ever visiting, the view from the balcony was beautiful. The condo was ok, my only complaint would be the shower glass, I was scared everytime anyone would shower for the fear that it would fall. The hinges on the bottom kept falling out. It was very rusty. Other than that it was great.

Condo was dirty . Cleaning lady was leaving as we arrived - and it was not clean . I ended up having to go buy cleaning supplies to clean before we could unpack . There were lots of broken things or things that need attention in the condo. I reported all to the emerald destination email as instructed. The freezer did not keep our food frozen the first half of the week. I left a voice Mail on the Maintance line but never heard back . I ended up throwing quite a bit of food out :( The freezer started working on Thursday and was working fine when we left Saturday morning . Other than the cleanliness - the unit was decent :) loved the location and view .

We checked in later on in the afternoon. Room was extremely dirty. There was so much sand on the laminate floors . The mirrors on entrance were dirty with hand prints from food , chocolate who knows what . Every glass surface was dirty . The ceiling fans were on ‘ when we turned them off there was 3inches of dirt and crap on them . The sheets were stained and the bedding smelled funky . To top it off someone took a dump and didn’t flush . This was a horrific experience. We had to make a trip to Walmart ASAP to buy cleaning supplies to clean the room . We didn’t want to ruin experience for our kids . I can’t believe that absolutely nothing was cleaned ! The patio had sand and trash all over it . Worst experience ever ! The elevators are a nightmare on the property’ we waited for 2 hours to get down this morning. The entire stay one of the elevators were down or someone threw up . Will be posting pictures and videos of the check on YouTube for review . Spending this amount of money for less than 2 stars . Even more alarming the entire floor had the same key code and people would randomly walk into your unit.

Panama & the Summit condo’s Amenitieswere great. The condo from Emerald Coast Destenations was a high priced price of ****. Never in my life was I SO displeased with such a Rental of one of Theirs. First when you went in the mirrors down the hall were smeared and covered with finger prints. No TV remotes work. Refrigerator didn’t work, lost about $60 in food that we bought for it. No light bulbs in some fixtures. Dryer vents were clogged so couldn’t dry towels, had to hang everything off of balcony. Pull out couch bed was busted up and mattress was old. Overall the Condo was a Mess, asked ECDI for some reimbursement but they never replied on that subject. They finally sent Mantenance over for a few repairs while we were out at the pool. When we returned to room I found some packs of Cigarettes missing, had to ask them to leave & not come back in here until I’m gone , bunch of F*cking THEIVES. I would recommend The Summit if you get the right owners of a good Condo , definitely not ECDI.

The room was nice, we had to clean some when we got there, the dryer vent had a lot of lent in it, the dishwasher still had dishes in it but overall it was great.

Definitely one of the nicer/newer condos at this resort location. Weather wasn’t great but would stay here again in warmer summer months. The area definitely has a loud party vibe on weekend nights but this particular unit was great. Amazing view, huge king bed, working kitchen, etc. Only issues were no dish soap and only one roll of TP. Only had 3 people for 7 days and we had to go buy a lot of little things, but no major issues. Overall it was a really affordable and fun spot on the panhandle. I expected worse considering the price, so we were pleasantly surprised.
