Dare To Dream is a completely remodeled 2nd floor condo in the heart of the Outer Banks - Kill Devil Hills, NC. We are tucked back in a lovely, quiet Soundside neighborhood only 1 mile to the beach and an easy bike ride if you wish. Working from home? Enjoy a working vacation at the beach! We have high speed wireless internet as well as a small desk with a power strip for multiple devices. Close to restaurants, shopping, the Wright Brothers National Memorial, Mini Golf and grocery stores plus the wide expanse of shoreline with 32 public beach access areas in Kill Devil Hills alone. There is a wonderful bike/walking path that winds for miles through the neighborhood and down to the Sound so plan to bring your bikes! Enjoy the beautiful outdoor pool and tennis courts that are available for guests ,or walk a short distance down to the end of the canal where it meets the Sound. It's here that you will see some gorgeous sunsets ! There are a few areas along the canal for experienced kayakers to launch into the Sound and our young guests will enjoy occasionally seeing ducks and turtles in the canal also. One of our favorite things about the condo is the covered deck. It provides a peaceful spot for morning coffee and evening beverages or just an escape from the heat. Overlooking live oak trees and the canal ; it is a great place for wildlife watching. Dare To Dream is a spacious and well appointed retreat for 2 couples or a family; furnished with 2 comfortable Queen beds and 2 full bathrooms boasting a rain shower in the master. There is an electric fireplace in the living room for cozy evenings as well as the convenience of a washer/dryer unit in the condo. You will find the kitchen with newer appliances to be well stocked for all of your cooking needs. The Smart TV's in the living room and each bedroom are equipped with Amazon Fire sticks as well as SLING TV. Between a wide variety of attractions to some of the best fishing on the east coast, your visit to the Outer Banks can be everything you're dreaming of !

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo! The 2 bedroom unit was tastefully decorated, comfortable and white glove clean. It comes stocked with plenty of towels and the bathrooms are quality done. The bedrooms are roomy and the beds comfortable. The closet in one bedroom was stocked with chairs, umbrella, toys etc. For beach going excursions. The kitchen provides everything you need to cook and serve meals if you desire. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating and the dining area ajoins it making for a large conversation area. The small terrace off the dining area has a pretty view and a couple of chairs to have a cup of coffee and relax. Even though we didn't use them, a swimming pool and tennis courts are for guests also. Keep in mind it is on the 2nd. floor if you have a problem with stairs.
I highly recommend this home away from home on your visit to the Outter Banks!

We stayed at this roomy and comfortable townhome to check out life on the Outer Banks! It was very clean and spacious and thoughtful details to our stay were in place. Tracey was prompt in responding and very friendly. Would definitely recommend!!

The condo was perfect for our family - very spacious, decorated beautifully, and well stocked with games, beach items and kitchen items.
Bike/walking trail was lovely to enjoy the rest of the neighborhood.

This condo was very clean and well equipped. It was surrounded by trees with a quiet canal in the back. Lots of bike paths, close to all amenities and the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay would recommend and stay again.

There was so much we loved about this condo starting with the adorable beach decor! It immediately made us feel like we were on a beach getaway. The property was well cared for and clean, the owner was quick to respond to all of our questions, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and cooking pans and the location was ideal - easy stoplight access to the main road, grocery stores, the beach and putt putt golf nearby, centrally located to explore all of the Outer Banks (which we did - from Carolla to Hatteras to Roanoke Island). We also appreciated the extras like beach chairs and umbrella (although you have to bring your own beach towels). The only thing I would say wasn't as we expected was the balcony. The pictures online and the reviews made it sound very scenic and private. While it is on a canal, it's adjacent to 3 other balconies and a walking path, so there isn't much privacy and the view includes not only the canal, but the property across the way with vehicles, etc. parked there. It may just be the time of year we were there, but there were a lot of bugs too, so we really didn't get to use it at all. However, we really enjoyed our stay overall and would recommend this condo without hesitation.

We loved the property. It’s tastefully styled with nice updates. Super clean too. The kitchen had all the appliances, dishes, and cooking items that we needed. The master shower was great, the balcony was nice, pool was nice, we were just a few minutes drive from the beach… everything was so good!

Host was very accommodating. Place is very nice and quick drive to the beach. Beach had plenty of parking at 11am when we went. Pool was nice and not too crowded. Place was very well stocked as well.

A friend of mine and I stayed here on a mom-cation. No kids or husbands allowed. Just books!
It was a perfect place to relax and be close to everything. It was clean and well cared for.
I would say, the only downside I found was the neighbor across the canal had a dog that was a little noisy if you are in the room closest to the canal. My friend stayed in the room near the parking lot, but didn’t hear the dog at all.
Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

The condo was very clean and had plenty of space for our kids to spread out. The full kitchen was very helpful for meals as were the towels, sheets, and soaps/shampoos provided. Speaking with Tracey (whose condo it was) was a breeze and she was very friendly and accommodating. The property itself is 1 mile from the beach and just a short walk from the sound behind the property. Neighbors were quiet as well.

The condo was just what we were looking for. It was very clean and nicely furnished. It was also extremely quiet. We had to seek help from Tracey and she was Johnny on the spot. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching three river otters playing in the creek.
The available selection from the TV seemed limited. But that wasn’t a huge problem since we air streamed from our iPhone. Our friend suggested that she add a way to sharpen the kitchen knives since the knives were rather dull.

The accommodations were perfect with extras like beach chairs, umbrella and toys. Books and games available for rainy days and sitting by the electric fireplace. I loved the book full of brochures of local attractions and restaurants. Host was easy to reach and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

Tracey was an incredible host for us during the week. My partner and I had such a wonderful stay in her condo in Kill Devil Hills. The location was central to lots of conveniences and amenities, the beach was right down the road as well as the Wright Brothers Memorial. Her property was immaculate and a wonderful stay overall for us. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to visit again in the future!

We loved out stay here for our first visit to OBX! Very clean, tastefully decorated, quality linens, comfortable beds and everything needed for an easy breezy vacation. Short drive to the beach, nice large pool and easy access to the multi-use bike/walking trail that was a perfect for a stunning sunset bike ride along the sound. We appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella and beach toys. Tracey was very responsive and helpful with our questions.

Great Get Away
We arrived after lots of water/Ferry travel. Tried and was able to enter without problems. House well supplied, took hot showers and off to bed. Rested well, comfortable mattress and linen. Located great for sightseeing, eating and shopping. Two senior citizen couples.

Awesome rental!
We loved staying here. The place was very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and in a great location. We loved using the bike path that was so close and how convenient Publix was. We also enjoyed the large sized swimming pool.

Wonderful Condo!
Stayed here for a 5 days and first time in Outer Banks! This place did not disappoint! Home was extremely clean, updated, and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pot & pans, & appliances. Tracey kept us well informed of anything we needed to know and was easy to work with. Thanks again for a great get away!
