About this house rental
Situated in Deschutes River Woods, this charming house for R 17,026 per night is a great option for your next break. Deschutes Forest Lodge - A beautiful Estate in the Woods - but still close to downtown Bend! Entering the grounds, the house is set far back from the road. There is a 2 car garage, with an EV Charger, and plenty of off street parking in the driveway. Entering the house you will find a large open main level, the great room features a glass garage door that opens up for indoor outdoor living, and in winter provides a wonderful view, as well as letting in lots of natural light. There is also a half bath off the Great Room. The gourmet kitchen is stocked with all manner of pots, pans, baking pans, cutting boards, etc... There is a pantry with an extra refrigerator, and also holds extra pots and pans and serving items, as well as a plethora of small kitchen appliances. Additionally there is a large refrigerator and a large freezer, as well as a Viking Range with 6 burners. Plenty of seating - in the Great Room, and in the kitchen at the island or the large Dining Table. There is also a designated office work space, with a printer and a desktop for guests use. The Main Suite is also on this level, for those who may not want to do stairs. This area features a King Bedroom with a desk area, a large walk in closet and a large master bath, with a tub and walk in shower and two vanities (the walk in shower has a bench seat as well). Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, 2 Kings size, 1 Queen and a Bunk room. Each set of rooms shares a bath and shower combo. Each room has it's own mini walk in closet. Down the hall you will find a large game room, with Ping Pong and Foosball, a game table and a TV, and a half bath. This room also has a bar area, with a mini fridge. Also upstairs is a Laundry Room with a Washer and Dryer. There is a large patio area with a fire pit and a hot tub, along with a BBQ, and many yard games and lots of seating, when weather permits. There is a large outdoor dining table under a covered porch area, and a large grassy area for the games. Weddings and large events are not allowed at this home - the home is in a quiet community - so if you are looking for a party pad - this is probably not the house for you.

We had a wonderful time staying over the Christmas holiday. The home is large and spacious. We enjoyed football on the large TV, a few dips in the hot tub, ruthless games of foosball and Ping-Pong, not to mention a puzzle or two.
The home is on a quiet road but minutes from everything. There is even a quiet little walking trail close by. We even borrowed a couple of the house bikes for a cruise down the road.
Fabulous time was had by all!

Everything about the house was great. Lots of space and plenty of toys/games around the property to keep everyone entertained. 10 minute drive/Uber to downtown Bend and central to plenty of hikes and attractions. Host was a great communicator.

It was our Family Reunion 2023 and everyone from 10 months to 68 years were very comfortable here. The house is absolutely gorgeous. Jarrid took great strides toward making our stay perfect. There were lots of fun yard games and we enjoyed wine and s’mores around the fire pit. Inside we had game tables and board games to help entertain us. The kitchen is a cook’s dream. Baby gates and high chair came in very handy. Beds and linens were cozy after days of hiking, brewery hopping, shopping and family fun. This property is a treat.

Our family of 10 gathered at this beautiful property. The outdoor games and game room were used daily and brought much entertainment and “friendly” competition! The photos were truly accurate and communication with Jarrid and Jamie was punctual. Thank you!

Amazing property and looks even better in person. Plenty of room for our annual high end trip. Outdoor area with the fire pit is awesome for hanging out grilling and games. Great for large groups or multiple families. Just a 10 minute drive from downtown but totally worth it. You won’t want to leave!

From the prompt email responses, to the email from the maintenance manager there to take care of us upon our arrival, to the best stocked kitchen we've ever had, to the four deer that came to eat in the yard each morning, this was a perfect vacation home. Very comfortable for our large group with enough seating in the living room and dining room - that doesn't often happen. They even had baby items so we didn't have to rent. It is a gorgeous property with privacy from the neighbors. We went over Christmas and the owner even supplied Christmas tree decorations! We loved the home and definitely would go back. If I had a complaint it would be that it wasn't in town but it's a short drive. My sister brought her two kiddos and they both brought a couple of friends for their first ever sleep overs. We cooked in the exhibition kitchen, BBQ’d, watched movies and played games that were available…cornhole and badmitton, used the hot tub frequently. On the last day, as we were packing up to leave, my mom told me it was the best birthday she had ever had. Mission accomplished! We will never forget the family memories from the weekend we spent in this home. I would recommend this property to anyone planning a special stay.

The house is as beautiful as the pictures. The grounds are gorgeous and relaxing, and we enjoyed watching the dear walk by the house every morning. The house is well stocked and in a great location. Our family had a fabulous time. Thank you!

Our 4 night stay was wonderful. The property is located in a wooded neighborhood with lots of room between homes, so although it is close to town, it seems as if it’s very secluded. The home is spacious and luxurious, and very well outfitted with everything you might need.

Amazing house and property
The layout of the house was awesome. The space for the kitchen and living area was well thought out and great for large parties. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever need or imagine. The outside area was just as amazing and had fun games for us to play with a family of 10 people.

Deschutes River Woods. What can I add that the previous posters have not already touched upon. The pictures truly don’t do the home justice. My only regret was not staying longer. Things to do, we barely scratched the surface with corn-hole, hot tubbing and fire pit time. We didn’t get to enjoy the front yard swing, horseshoes, game room (foosball and table tennis) the bikes and scooters in the garage and the list goes on. My sister (in from Boston) wanted to pack up the gourmet kitchen and take it home. We enjoyed movies and popcorn in the great room. If the weather had been better we’d have had the garage door / rolling door up to let the outside in. Book a stay, you will not be disappointed!

A Week Together
Every year for the past 3 years, we take our adult children with their significant others for a one week vacation. It’s the week we all look forward to. This year we chose Bend, and the house and town were both amazing. We spent each day picking a different activity to do together, but then we would come back in the afternoon to enjoy the home. We played ping pong, foosball, and basketball; some road bikes or took walks every morning in the neighborhood; all used the hot tub every day; and best of all, the large table inside and out made for great family time together for meals and board games. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again. Thank you for letting us stay in your home! :)

House is better than advertised. Manager is wonderful… very responsive and a really nice guy.
Minor critiques: could use more towels for large groups, there was some garbage left from a prior group, some bathrooms needed minor maintenance. But none of this impacted our stay materially as the house manager addressed it all promptly.

Has to be the premier property in Bend. House is amazing with high end finishes throughout. Kitchen is large with top of the line appliances. It is extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need or want. The bedrooms are all large. The master suite is huge, private and will exceed all expectations.
The outdoor spaces compliment the inside. Great patio in the back with hot tub. On a nice day the indoor and outdoor spaces can be integrated by raising a garage style door.

This property will not disappoint. Kitchen is fully stocked. From casserole dishes to hand mixer to cappuccino maker. It has ALL. Hot tub was perfect. All bedrooms were beautiful. All bathrooms had toiletries and a blow dryer. The property manager was readily available anytime we had a question. Close to shopping and restaurants. Property is large with lots of privacy. We had snow the entire time so the massive glass rolling door made for a beautiful view all day. Very spacious home with beautiful and comfy furniture. We’ve rented lots of places and this one will be on the top of our list for Bend Oregon. Highly recommend to anyone.

This home is absolutely beautiful! Stealing some ideas from the master bath! We came with our (teens and young 20’s) children and a couple friends and had a great time with plenty of room for everyone. Property was in a great location so close to town, but you felt like you were really on a vacation away from everything. So whether you want to hang out at home and read with a glass of wine, go shopping in town or head up to ski, the home and location are perfect! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home!
