Superb

Superb view from the room. It was really nice in the morning and evening with the sea views and the terrace down stairs from Cappuccino chain. Room was old fashion chic but though with some bambus modern insertions on the bad and chairs. I really liked the charm of the hotel.

Pillows a bit hard to sleep on. The sunchairs on the room are a good alternative to take on the beach since no sunchairs are on the deck allowed still if you check out early at 11 and leave late you don't have the possibility to use them.

What I expected

This is a 3 star hotel on the shorefront of the pedestrian walkway of Puerto Pollenca. I have stayed here before and it does not dissapoint.

Unfortunately they have a problem with the Costas over their beach front terrace. I do not understand that with devolved goverment for the autominous regions why this involves Madrid. It suggests other influences.

Best quirky front line hotel

Location, staff and service. The shower was great, and the air conditioning was fab.. Free safe. Was given an upgrade to my room. I was surprised with spacious terrace, sunbeds, and parasol

Shame they have lost the front for sunbeds, although they do provide folding chairs to take to the beach, which is great. Could do with some improvements, carpets worn and to be honest would be better tiled in rooms.

Love the resort, hotel is tired!

Breakfast was adequate but very repetitive. Quality of appliances etc very poor/ old. Location was fabulous.

Terrace for sunbathing no longer in use. Hotel supply 2 loungers in each room which is a poor substitute. No parasols for shade etc…

Location was ok (maybe too close to bars and restaurants , it can be noisy at night)

No sun beds available at the beach, breakfast was average (horrible coffee), tiny terrace.

Third time and counting.

Hotel staff are second to none, always ready to help. The hotel is wonderfully situated with a beach frontage. Beds are firm but comfortable (for me). Cleanliness is 5* This was my third stay and I hope to return next year.

I wasn't happy with the original room but was relocated very quickly and without fuss. The lack of sunbeds this year didn't bother me at all.

Lovely hotel, great staff and location

A fabulous location, lovely room with balcony. Staff really helpful.

Although sun chairs provided in room we would have preferred to use sun loungers already in situ. To be fair, the hotel did mention this on their website but dont understand why other hotels managed this. Breakfast is average, hot food a bit congealed but an ok choice. Cups too small.

An enjoyable couple of nights

Staff excellent, great breakfast, very good location leading directly onto the walkway to the beach and east to walk to restaurants.

No car park though there was a first come free car park a few blocks away. We had a very early start to return to the airport so we were offered a takeaway breakfast, the content quality was very poor considering the nightly rate. Our room had a terrace but looked out into other roof areas just above the laundry.

As a cyclist an earlier start to breakfast would have been even better but I can see that there was no demand from other guests

Cappuccino was on the expensive side all drinks and food came through them the lido side could benefit from some chairs there as a lot of older people go there and they cannot cope with sunbeds.

totally disappointed - for £160 a night I expected more. it says three stars would only give it 2

The only thing I liked was the location.

It was drab, old and dingy - needs a complete overhaul. it was very hot during our stay and no water available for guests!!!

Relaxing, friendly, clean, just fantastic

We liked everything about this hotel and the location was spot on could not be any better. Don’t be put off it doesn’t have a pool you have sun beds right next to the sea and this is much better trust me. The weather was 35 degrees most days and the sea was a god send it has its own private beach sort off which people seemed to think it was for the hotel but this is not really the case but great never the less. Breakfast was good coffee was always hot we will be back next year for sure.

lovely hotel, in a beautiful location

The position is great, the staff are lovely and the sun lounger terrace is a real bonus.

The beds were too hard for us and affected my husbands back and my hips. The hotel is immaculately clean, however it could do with certain areas being a bit updated. Having said that, we had a wonderful stay and we would definitely return. it is a great hotel.

Health and safety nightmare, all packaged up in rude and arrogant service. Wont be coming back.

We love Port de Pollensa, it’s a stunning part of the world, it should be very hard to get a hotel offering wrong with so much natural beauty

We got reprimanded on arrival for arriving after we said we’d check in (our flight was 2 hours late, we came straight from the airport), we then got scowled out throughout checkin, then when we got to our rooms with two extremely tired children we found that no cot had been put up, despite the hotel explicitly confirming a month in advance that we’d have a cot in one of our two rooms. Worse still, we were told there actually are no spare cots at all and so, per their advice, our baby had to sleep on a bed next to my wife surrounded by pillows to stop the baby from rolling off. Health and safety nightmare, all packaged up in rude and arrogant service. Wont be coming back.
