House was very spacious and loved screened in porch. Outside fenced in area was great for our dog. Great neighborhood with great walking areas with extremely close access to the pier and beach. Owners very quick to respond and receptive to questions. Would highly recommend this property. We would absolutely rent this property again.

This vacation home is exactly as described. Kitchen utensils were fully stocked. Everything was clean. Owner was responsive when i had to call because I wrote down the wrong code. The fenced in yard was great for our little, old dog. Pretty much everything was in walking distance yet the home is far enough from pier area so it was quiet. The screened in porch was fantastic to eat breakfast on and to just unwind at night. The porch is something we haven’t had at any other places we stayed and really was a bonus! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again next year!!

Upon arrival was a little confused I assumed this was a house, but there was 2 units I really didn’t know where to go & didn’t know I was going to have neighbors. I’m bringing that up because they smoked pot all day long. It just permeated to the upstairs. Also I didn’t know we would be sharing a backyard. So I really didn’t let my dog out there. The rental was great, spacious, the porch was wonderful to just sit & enjoy the breeze. Mattresses were rough. Very uncomfortable. Everything was pretty clean. Location was about 5 blocks to beach. Overall vacation was great. Thank you

My family and I had a great vacation. The home is very spacious with a fenced in yard. The screened in front porch was a fantastic area for sitting to relax or playing cards with the family. The location was great as it was not to close to the busy pier but close enough to walk there as well as local shops and breakfast spots. Only complaints would be that the cleaning crew could do a better job and the yard was all dirt with no grass. There was a ceiling leak but didn’t affect us until last night. Overall it was a nice experience.

Our family of 5 (Wife, 2 teens, Bro in law, and me) truly enjoyed our week in this pretty and well appointed 2nd floor unit. The living room, large screen tv, Split unit AC, and front screen porch were very well used by us. I think it is also VERY important to note that we ALL (ALL FIVE of us) found our beds, rooms, and mattresses to be be VERY comfortable, allowing us all to sleep very well. That is important to note since we have been renting Maine beach units for 25+ years, since we got married, and that has NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. Usually, most of us fight through uncomfortable mattresses for our week of vacation, being exhausted by week’s end, and looking forward to getting home for a good night’s rest, but 13 Carll Avenue (2nd floor unit) was a goldmine of comfortable mattresses affording many good nights of sleep. The pier and beach are truly a short walk that we did every day, as the owner said, and there was always room on the beach if you walked just two public ways down from the pier to Kinney Ave. LOTS of things for teens to do, lots of restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance, and tourist shops and restaurants are well policed. The only down side of our experience, and this was through no fault of the owner, was the surrounding neighborhood. Houses are a bit tight near each other, so whenever we were enjoying the gorgeous front porch screened area, we could hear ALL the business of our neighbors (the good and the bad). However, with the front door closed, and AC lightly humming, the neighborhood noises were cancelled out, so it’s not like we could not escape, and we did still use the screen porch every morning before hitting the beach. I would probably bring a small Bluetooth speaker next time to mask, or white noise, out the more colorful sounds of the neighborhood. We would definitely recommend renting this clean, modern and comfy unit to any family and friends, and we will rent again if we return to OOB.

Our family had a really great time staying here. The online description is definitely accurate with the property. It is a short walk to the beach (approximately 0.3 miles). It’s also about the same distance to the grocery store and to the Dollar General (if you need to grab something real quick). The neighborhood was really quiet when we were there - great for a family stay. The screened porch is amazing. My wife and I had several great coffee dates each morning sitting in the quiet, enjoying the breeze. There were 5 of us in our party, and we had plenty of room in the house. The owner was always responsive to any communication. We highly recommend this property! Thanks for helping us to have a wonderful stay in Old Orchard!
