About this house rental
Whether you’re planning a quick get away at the beach, traveling to the area or are ready for a vacation… You’ve found the right place. Sunny, cute, comfortable and located on the shoreline of historic Westbrook, Connecticut - Equipped with all the comforts of home including books and toys for the kids, board games, beach chairs & umbrella, sand toys and in the backyard, Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. Our home:: Less than a mile from the water and sand, the closest public beach is a five minute drive from the house. We are minutes away from the best lobster rolls and fresh seafood on the shore with outside seating and water & marina views to choose from. Don’t leave without stopping for homemade ice cream. (There are authentic Italian pastries nearby too.) Plenty of dining options close by as well as award-winning pizza and a large variety of other choices depending on your mood. We’re happy to give recommendations. We are close to I-95 and Rt 1 making buzzing around really easy. Rent or bring your own paddle boards or kayaks. There are beautiful places very close to do both. In 30 minutes or less- :Yale, New Haven. :Mohegan Sun Casino & Resort💰 :Visit Mystic Aquarium & Mystic Seaport Museum 🐠 :Essex Steam train and Riverboat 🚂 Minutes away from- :Westbrook Premium Outlets (need more? This property was cozy, very clean, quiet neighborhood and had all thats needed for a getaway. Host prompt to communicate and very accomodating. Its a nice location to explore the area for any season!

Cozy retreat and close to beaches and activities
We stayed for a Ladies Weekend recently which was relaxing and cozy. We brought firewood and used the firepit which was a nice touch. Had everything we needed in the kitchen and bath. Nice furnishings. Also, DVD's to watch at night. There is a pretty marsh to walk down to, great for morning fall photography.
Drove to a nearby beach and had perfect weather. Did a little antiquing and had many good restaurants to choose from.
I would say this property is perfect for 4 people.

Super clean cottage
Super clean cottage with lots of added homey touches. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Perfect for a small family as a base to explore the surrounding area. Would definitely rent again!

Wonderful Retreat
This property was the perfect size for our family of 4 during our long weekend in Westbrook. It was a great base of operations, and there were plenty of amenities nearby. On top of that, the host provided everything we needed during our stay. We had no issues and would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area!

This is not a negative rating, but beware that this house does not sleep 6 as it states. There are 2 bedrooms, but only two people can sleep in them, only two beds. The living room has only one couch to seat 3 people, so if you have more than 3, someone will be sitting on the floor. There is no other seating in the living room for the family. Also, the dining, I guess you can call it, only has seating for 4, and one small couch that an adult cannot sleep on. The house is cute, and very clean, but do not come to this house with more than 4 people, it is very small. Also bring your own coffee cups, the ones supplied fit about 4 oz. Again, this is a great vacation spot, the food was amazing, and the shops, but the house is way too small, looks much bigger online. Finally, it states DVD player, but there are movies, but no player, so the only TV to watch you will have to sign into your own Hulu/Netflix, but there are DVDs there? We had a great time, although I had to go buy an air mattress, but overall I would stay here again, just with only 4 people.

Wonderful Stay
My wife and two kids (under 3) loved staying here. There was plenty of room for everyone and the kids loved the added amenities of toys and games for for them. The house is wonderfully located near a lot of attractions plus some of the best seafood around. While it's not included as a feature please keep in mind there is no microwave at this location BUT between the oven, toaster and firepit there are plenty of options if you need to make your own meals. The host was very responsive and provided a ton of helpful information about the area. Would recommend staying!!

Wonderful retreat
My husband and I had a wonderful brief stay at this little cottage. We got to meet the sweet couple across the street and their brand new puppy! The beach near by was lovely (but parking was pricey) and we drove to the Hammonasset Beach State Park which was beautiful. The local eats were delicious.

Wish we stayed longer!
The property, location and host were absolutely amazing and accommodating! I wish I had booked for a longer stay. Clean, spacey perfect for a little family and less then 2 miles from anything great to do! Our daughter even left her new toys from the aquarium and the host is mailing them down
Definitely would choose this rental again in a heartbeat!

Wedding Weekend
We thought the house was adorable. Nice quiet street. Easy in & out of the area. We were very pleased that a 1/4 of a mile away were restaurants, gas, and more. Not far from 95. We would happily rent with Marie at this location next time we are in the area.
